It's no surprise whatsoever that 17% of Americans are anti-semitiic. I'm surprised the figure is that low. The point remains though that if I were a Muslim, I wouldn't get all warm and fuzzy over that because I suspect that the number of Americans who have significant anti-Muslim sentiment is way higher. The bleeding hearts in the US will always be anti-zionist because their naivity will have them root for the underdog (the Palestinians) no matter what the context.

Arab countries won't lift a finger to help the Palestinians because they'd rather use them as a pawn for anti-Israel propoganda. I wouldn't hold my breath for the Canadian or American people to revolt against their governments in the name of helping the Palestinians. The truth is that when Israel is not bombing Gaza, not many give the Palestinians much thought. I'm also not anti-Muslim but anti-terrorist. I hope Israel and a moderate Palestinian govt. can negotiate a 2 state solution.
