Weren't these the gowns the Supremes wore a few months later at the Frontier Hotel during the farewell performance?

@gayboymotown Yes. You are correct. The costumes for GIT were designed by Bob Mackie and at the time, Mackie gowns were highly prized. The Supremes used these black gowns and the peach feather gowns at the farewell concert. Throughout the 1970's, the GIT gowns (as well as nearly every other supremes gown) were worn by every Supremes lineup. I've seen pictures from 1977 with Scherrie, Mary and Susaye in these black gowns.

Nice Quality. Honestly, GIT was never a favorite Supremes moment for me...but I have grown to appreciate certain aspects of it over the decades. Thank you for posting this.
