@AHU96 If I were you, I'd start with making the shoulders bigger with a cable cross over machine. Pulling down with your arms straight in a cross or Y position, and hold. And at the same time with a pull down machine, climb up to managing a hold for a few second or as long as possible of 120% of your weight. And do toe stretches, and also leg raises /watch?v=3jtuuIt0LcQ&t=4m58s, or pilate core work out
@Bwilsonfitness@MUSCLEOVER4me You cannot specifically work the lower abs. The rectus abdominis contracts as one muscle to bring the thorax closer to the pelvis, or vice versa. The reason people think leg raises work the lower abs is this. The psoas runs up deep into the abdomen, under the rectus abdominis, and people may feel a burning there. The Iliopsoas muscle is the muscle that dynamically contracts in leg raises. The abs only statically contract to prevent extension of the spine.
@bornathlete1 Yet one might be inclined to believe that when weight is applied from the lower body the angle of greatest force is quite different as compared to a thoracically weighted movement. This "target angle" gives you the ability to work the distal portions of each individual ab cluster yielding a fuller proportionate 6 pack.
A lot of people hating on your technique but they're very good. Leg lifts really work the lower abs and many people don't know that, they think a lot of short quick bursts is the way to go but the further your reach is, the harder you have to work just as you demonstrated in your video. Good work, keep it up!
@indian838 yeah. MMA is my favourite sport ever, I dunno much about other sports, but it seems like 80% of fighters either dont have abs(cant see them) or have fucked up ones lol but regardless their core power is definitely there. Take Steroids if you want useless ones for ladies
Yeah, I totally agree with you about doiing ab movements that can't be performed more than around 20 reps. It will work much FASTER and BETTER...but you know, there are some guys that think it's cool to say they do 500 crunches a day! lol
BTW, you are looking so good...really remarkable improvements in your entire body!

Eh, that second one tends to work the back more than the abs.
The first one's alright, but he's lifting too high, again, making the back work harder than it has to.
