I've had the first gen stone and LOVE it it's way more comfortable than anything that sits ON your ear I'm buying the 2 so i can answer call with my mc helmet on. Your the first person who I EVER heard who didnt think it was the best on the market.
Nice review. I agree 100%. I've owned and returned the Stone 1 & 2. If they could get the call quality of Jawbone's Noise Assassin, this thing would be a winner.
You got it to scan through your address book, mine did not do that , how did you do that? The manuals online and the support are all lacking the most basic information.
@DEVILSNAKELDS GSM phones have a max output of about 2 watts. Bluetooth headsets of about .01 watts for the class of radio used (other Bluetooth device classes put out much more power). You can have the headset on your head for 8 hours straight and it would have roughly the same total wattage as 2.4 minutes of GSM talk time on the 850 or 900MHz bands. Talk for more than a few minutes each day? Then you are better off with a headset, IMO.
The Risk of your Cellphone in causing Tumor is more dangerous than the Bluetooth earpiece BUT you aren`t putting the phone near your ear ALL DAY LONG... but in the case of the earpiece it`s just there the ENTIRE TIME.. so if you`re a guy who talks A LOT on the phone you need 1 of those. But if you`re not , then you better NOT get this earpiece because it will actually increase you chances of developing cancer...
@DEVILSNAKELDS Did you also give all your money and possessions to Harold Camping before the 6pm deadline on the 21st May when the world ended... Oh wait... Pull your head out of your ass...
The most recent study I've heard about the subject has really put the blame on the cellphone.
There have been no scientific links to tumors and ear pieces. But if i recall correctly a German study pointed out a couple of months ago that the cellphone that is paired with you headset MIGHT effect sperm quality.
Usually most men have their cellphones in their waist pockets when paired, and constant cellphone signals might effects sperm production.
JAW BONE all the way :D

JACK BLACK

You got the lights at the base wrong.
According to their site:
Three Green Lights = Has enough to charge 3 to 4 FULL charges of the headset.
Two Green Lights = enough to charge 2 to 3 FULL headset charges.
One Green Light = 1 to 2 FULL headset charges.
Single Red Light = The Charger itself needs to be charged.

This seems like a nice bluetooth but my problem is I can't pick which ear I want it on. I'd get it though for my droid 2.

@DEVILSNAKELDS The power levels transmitted by headsets or multiple orders of magnitude weaker than those transmitted by phones during active calls.

Didn't they come out with a study saying that depending on what side your bluetooth is on can higher the risk of a tumor?
