  • Reminds me of arroz con leche yummmmm

  • i've been eating this for breakfast.. it's amazing and so simple to make

  • Yum! I respect her recipes, they are nice and healthy! I lost 100 pounds eating healthy foods and exercising, it's the "magic" answer!

  • I thought you weren't supposed to keep brown rice in the refrigerator for more than a day because of the bacteria it carries even through cooking? I've only read that online, but I've seen it on several sites warning about leftovers when it comes to brown rice.

  • damn this looks so freakkkiinnn good! imma have to try some of this...i'm sure it'd be a great snack alternative too nom nom nom

  • I love how she talks about writing a book about not measuring but then uses tablespoons and measuring cups...

  • dayyyum id like to cook you up ;)

  • can you use normal white rice for this recepie please?

  • THE RICE IS COOKED!!!! PEOPLE, ADD THE INGREDIENTS SHE IS SAYING AND WARM IT UP OMG

  • I love bethenny but this is basically mexican arroz con leche

  • how anyone can have a question as to whether or not the rice cooked is beyond me....DUH!!!!...of course it's cooked rice...and this is so good...:o)

  • Check outwww.nutrubox.com. Each month they have a variety of high end nutrition products and supplements they can fit into your daily routine and make you a healthier you!

  • hey! what Oatmeal are you eating for 4 dollars bethanny, lol i buy starbuck's oatmeal on wall st for 2.95 and it comes with dried fruit brown sugar and almond/walnut slivers...yummmm

  • You need to add COOKED brown rice, friends.

  • did you cook the rice or not??? idk about eating hard rice!!

  • come again?

  • eating it now and its pretty good!

  • I made this and it was DELICIOUS!

  • She says she doesn't believe in measuring, yet she says it's half a cup of brown rice. Well if that isn't measuring then what the fuck is!!!??????

  • What about the rice, is it minute rice or what?

  • "I do not believe in measuring." Then she proceeds to measure every other ingredient that she adds to the dish?????? Sure, Betheny, we need to learn to think for ourselves.

  • @brycro I believe she measures things on the video for the benefit of those who are not familiar with portion sizes. I don't think she as a chef needs to measure things because she knows what the right amount of things are. But when you have a video for women who want to eat healthy you need to show measurements. Once you get comfy with what 1/2 a cup should look like, not only should you not be so concerned with measuring, but you should also no longer need to.

  • @GirlieRat Chefs still use measurements. They are still needed no matter how advanced you are...especially for recipes and baking.

  • @cenon1 I know they do, but if a professional chef wasn't near a measuring cup, would he/she still be able to eye a portion of something and estimate around how much it is? Yes. I doubt they'd throw their hands up and give up the entire recipe because they don't have a measuring cup to perfectly measure out half a cup. Even women cooking in their kitchens (like my mom) don't really use them unless it's something they really cannot have too much of. They eye it and things turn out fine.

  • OMG, check it out: It's a skeleton with two waterballoons attached to its chest. Freaky!

  • worst implants ever.

  • haha, look how many hits this vid has and its all because you wanted to see what her face looked like! haha

  • says doesn't like measuring then measures everything.

  • BOOBIES!

  • ( . )( . )

  • MILF ALERT!

  • click like if you came here because of the boobs

  • @TheMolesterTV LOL! I can't stand her, she's so fucking annoying, but I only come here because of her boobs.

  • absolutely delicious and very filling. I just had this today :-)

  • Did I see her in a porn?

  • Definition of Milf...

  • Please don't use soy it's very bad for you please look at my videos on my page.

I was looking for healthy foods for my new group all about health.

  • @mpc0777 what about tofu~? some ppls eat a lot of tofu and they are fine....

  • That looks absolutely delicious, definitely going to try this! Thanks for uploading.

  • It's true that you could get food poisoning from eating reheated rice. But it's not actually the reheating that's the problem – it's the way the rice has been stored before reheating.

Uncooked rice can contain spores of Bacillus cereus, bacteria that can cause food poisoning. When the rice is cooked, the spores can survive. Then, if the rice is left standing at room temperature, the spores will germinate into bacteria.

  • These bacteria will multiply and may produce toxins (poisons) that cause vomiting or diarrhoea. Reheating the rice won't get rid of these toxins. So, the longer cooked rice is left at room temperature, the more likely it is that bacteria, or the toxins they produce, could stop the rice being safe to eat.

  • It's best to serve rice when it has just been cooked. If that isn't possible, cool the rice as quickly as possible (ideally within one hour) and keep it in the fridge for no more than one day until reheating.

    so beware everyone

  • mmmm after a few days in the fridge dont u know that rice has a potential to yep it will be nice and slimey lol lol give ppl food poisioning if its left in the fridge for a couple of days mmmm i look forward to all youse getting gastric lol lol lol

never trust anyone who has the boobs the size of watermelons on a sizze zero body

  • @ferminreyesjr It's very difficult for anorexic girls to have breasts that large.

  • Question.....how much did the rack cost?

  • she doesn't believe in measuring yet she keeps saying tablespoon this tablespoon that o and even a dash! lol

  • this looks pretty tasty, very nice!

  • Comment removed

  • @ferminreyesjr She's an Egyptian mummy with pendulous udders.

  • @wggwagg17 this comment sounds like it was made by kelly from the rhny!!!!

  • @beachgalhottie I have no idea who that is, but sure, okay.

  • The method I use is, I mill my rice in a coffee mill. Then I boil water and cook like cream of wheats. takes 5mins to cook. Just boil water add your milled rice, stirring it in, then remove from burner, and cover. Wait 5-7mins, stir once in between. It is much more healthy for you. Add brown sugar, maple syurp, raisins, vanilla, any thing you want. It is a good wholesome breakfast, with a low glysemic index, and lots of fiber.

  • i agree with donutgabe, i had to keep pouring more soy milk to prevent it from getting burnt! are you supposed to use cooked rice or uncooked? I'm so confused!

  • My brown rice turned out really crunchy, how did you get it to cook so fast??

  • This is the same tyoe of stuff I put in my oatmeal! It is delicious!!!

  • It looked more like a sweet dish than anything

  • How many people clicked on the link because of this brittle narcissist's prominently displayed big tits in the thumbnail pic?

  • @wggwagg17 I didn't. I googled for a fast rice recipe, and found this one on YouTube.

Why do you have to be so judgemental?

  • @petrus4 Hmm. Looks like someone's rather defensive, eh? ;-)

  • is the rice cooked??

  • @steffie562 By the way she is scooping out the rice from the bowl at the beginning, it looks like she starts out with COOKED rice. It would have been nice if she had clarified that in her recipe. A lot of people were wondering the same thing.

  • @katewinslet Uhm...it's pretty obvious that the rice needs to be cooked rice. You can also tell just by looking at the video that it's been cooked.

  • @steffie562 Yes the rice is cooked.

  • Comment removed

  • um ok sure...

  • Looks good! I'll try it with blueberries instead of raisins. Thanks for this video.

  • Looks good! I'll try it with blueberries instead of raisins. Thanks for this video.

  • Seems like a good b'fast recipe... I'm starting out the New Year 2011 with learning about being healthy... I'm gonna try this and will let you know... Thanks for Sharing..

  • Bethany, lets see more of that sexy bod.

  • Who the hell really wants to eat brown rice for breakfast. This isnt living. What happened to fruit, yougurt, heatlhy cereals, etc. But brown rice WTF!

  • I don't like to measure....here's 1/2 a cup of rice

  • Eating like this is going to make most people fat unless they're doing excessive cardio

  • nice boob job. what did you even cook ?

  • maple syrup isnt good for u? wtf?

  • Bethenny was unappreciative, a complete user, mean, rude, nasty, player right from the beginning, and all she did was made excuses for her actions, you were after fame and used every1 to get there,.... I couldn't stand your fake tears and how you bully anyone nd every1 when ever u feel like it...even ur own husband said, I don't know y ppl talk to u, ur sooo mean to them!!! I wonder how many times he thinks about it and the fact that what he has got himself into!

  • Great dish! Why not upload your cookery video for the Tropical Sun Cook Of The Year competition? The winner gets their recipes published in a cookbook and you can win an Apple iPad. There's a video about the competition at YouTube/TropicalSunFoods.

  • I am going to try this it sounds good.

  • nice boobs hahaha

  • was anybody looking at the food ??

  • @cathalhughes Exactly!

  • @cathalhughes not me :D

  • .. is the brown rice cooked already or not?

  • @JooElement yes i believe it is if not it would be best to cook first.

  • woooooooooh you looks sooooooo cunning ,why ?????

  • Please visit youcookworld (dot) (com) and upload all your cooking videos. Cash prizes available for best cooking videos.

  • great minds think alike its how i eat just made it up my sister loved it when i showed her now we enjoy that together wow i never woulda thought someone else would be eatting it lol cool

  • Obviously shes letting the viewers know how much to use because maybe we arent as comfortable not measuring as she is.

  • my grandma used to make sweet rice for breakfast! it was delicious but it was white and loaded with butter and sugar lol. this should be a fantastic alternative to my sweet breakfast rice i miss

  • Great idea...Thanks!!

  • Bethenny is beautiful. There is beauty beyonfd the 20's. Hope all the female haters live long enough to appreciate this wisdom when they reach her age.

  • @VeryHappy2bMe I just wish people would stop being so fixated on appearance. I can literally never see a video with a woman presenter, where there aren't literally hundreds of comments of either, "OMG you're hot!" or "you're so ugly!"

It's really sick. I watched this video to find out how Bethanny cooks her rice. Nothing against her, but I really don't care what she looks like, either way. It's irrelevant.

  • @petrus4 : Excellent insight, P4! I agree with you. Indeed, youtube can be a fun & informative vehicle, and so like u, i try to watch and learn where i can, and i don't care what the presenter looks like. I only care whether he/she makes sense! Lol. BTW, luv luv luv ur channel =*) -VH2BMe

  • I will definetly try this!

  • shouldn't the brown rice be cook longer??????

  • @laoguyjoe The brown rice was already cooked. It was a leftover she made into a snack

  • another thing since when did she measure anything, use your fuckin eyes people. I don't see a set of scales anywhere or a measure jug or anything, all I see is little bowls with shit in it. again all she said was use a 1/2 cup of rice. again she probably eye balled it and put it in them bowls.

  • She's not being contradictory , what she means is eye balling the measurements instead of using measure cups and scales and shit. She doesn't mean just put what ever quantities you like in but to just use your own judgement and learn what half a cup of brown rice looks like and add it in. Then you don't need scales. some poeple are just so fucking negative on here.

  • She just measured everything?

  • Comment removed

  • Just tried this and i loved it...i tried it with almond milk instead.

  • You should put on around 5 pounds, your tits just look way too fake like that and some people might think you have an eating disorder. Men like gals with a LITTLE meat on them.

Nice recipe though I'll try it thanks for posting.

  • Ummm you need to get schooled on environmental pollution with all that "disposable container" talk. Almond mylk is better than soy.

  • is the brown rice cooked before hand? it cooks it five minutes?

  • She is talking about cooked rice right ... i know she cooks it for 2 mns but there is no way that thing is cooked bc brown rice takes longer than that to be edible .. so she used already cooked rice?? plz let me know

  • @naitifr1988 the rice is already cooked.

  • This looks so good!

  • Cook the meals from KFC, Chili's, Red Lobster, PF Changs and more right from your own home! - youtube.com/watch?v=6ktnVmKZXOo

  • itsa good to eat healthy but fukk its ok to get fat from fat food

  • I think that everybodies body is different -I am aware of that... but the people who won't eat a piece of bread at a restaurant or people who count calories to the exact number are crazy. Plain and simple. You'll burn most of the food off by walking, chewing, breathing, and a mild walk after dinner. And throw green tea into the mix and you'll burn even more off. So why would you not eat a piece of bread @ that restaurant? lol. Is it going to add weight to those thighs or hips. get fucking real.

  • I had a go at making this and it is properly delicious! Thanks for posting this. :D x

  • I believe this woman is either bulimic or have some kind of eating disorder.

  • She meant she measures by eyeballing it, people. Good grief. Also, is this dish a little weird to any other Asians? I can't picture eating sweet things with rice. And I especially can't see me eating rice and milk together :x

  • @angle021 Thanks, finally somebody with a brain.

  • You don't have to boil the brown rice first?

  • She gives a measurement so that you know about how much of everything you need when you copy the recipe you can follow it so it can taste good because it's proportional.

  • "I'm thin because I have portion control". You're thin because you're anorexic or bordering on anorexic. You're tits are fat, what food group made that happen? Nice man head by the way.

  • Want a serotonin producing packed breakfast? Oatmeal, bananas, and peanut butter mixed. Delicious! But this is also great aswell. Brown rice with scrambled eggs and tomato is awesome.

  • Genius! lol

  • ummm soymilk is so bad for you...when you drink it every day... you gonna get kidney disease and a lot other stuff. so better go for hemp milk or rice milk. AND maple syrup is so bad for you!!!!take agave or date syrup. is way better. or even honey is better than maple syrup=)! i dont think she has too much knowledge about what is really good for you!! so sad! i bough her book. and like her recipes but sometimes they are contradictory.

  • nice tits

  • I am not impressed with her cooking abilities. This is a girl with a high metabolism, who is obviously NOT a foodie. Her dishes are very "pedestrian", no originality. I am afraid the best thing she can make for dinner is reservations!

  • @loladelrio she just need to gain weight

  • So, she measured a few things for the sake of the viewer. Big deal? Everyone must be so proud of themselves for pointing that out. Had she not measured anything, these same people would have exploded with complaints that she could have at least measured ONCE they could get an IDEA of how much. SOME people just LOVE to complain. If any of you saw her make this on the Apprentice, she never measured anything.

You complainers are seriously ungrateful, petty and self-righteous.

  • @wheresmylife To the complainers again: The only thing she actually measured was the maple syrup. She used a measuring spoon to scoop the raisins and almonds but you can see that it wasn't for measuring purposes. She didn't use the whole tablespoon of raisins or almonds. And I highly doubt she measures any of this at home. Common sense (which is apparently rare here since the highest rated comments are morons with a fan club) tells you she doesn't measure any of this at home.

  • If you read her book, Naturally Thin, you will see that she does not measure, but because we are typically a society that needs to know "how much," she will give us an idea of approximately how much is needed to make the recipe.

My question to you Bethenny, is how do you prepare the brown rice before hand. Do you season it for use of the original meal, since the rice is leftover, or do you make it plain, so that it can be used in a number of different meals?

    Thank you!

  • I know nothing about cooking so i was wondering do you cook the brown rice before you mix it?

  • @rvggarcon Yes, and you can even use instant brown rice. I made this today for the first time, and my brother who is a very picky eater loved it!!! you should try it!

  • she said u dont have to measure. Im glad she did to give me an idea of portion control. Do what you want this is your life.lol

  • Bethenny, please do not drink soy milk, bad. Soy milk is full of estrogen. Young females are being thrown into menopause because of all the estrogen. Soy grown GMO's or all of them is so wrong, thank you us deptartment of agriculture. Are GMO's legal in the U.K. or Europe? Nope, why do you think that might be? Homemade almond milk, a place of good.

  • @gargoyl0 you're right about europe, im american but i moved to spain a few years ago and here my soy milk is from normal soy beans, nothing that a lab had anything to do with.....its funny bc a lot of food in the US that maybe i was a little sensitive to when i lived there, doesnt affect me the the same way it did b4 now that i live in spain. are you sure about the menopause thing though? that sounds horrible. ...... (i thought i was the only one who made my own almond milk lol, guess not!)

  • @jennarentz yeh! I also make my almond milk :)

  • bethenn, please do not drink soy milk, bad. Soy milk is full of estrogen. young females are being thrown into menopause from it, not to mention soy grown GMO's. Homemade almond milk, a place of good.

  • You don't like measuring anything yet you measured everything you put in there.....................interesting!!!

  • people are used to measuring especially if their dieting so it helps for portion control. I myself grew up not measuring so once you do it so many times i think you can eyeball it. I love brown rice and this si a good change from oatmeal or eggs. Change it up.

  • love it! especially liked when you said, "everytime i eat this i can't believe how good it is." thank you!!

  • u r way too skinny, lady

  • I just made this today! Amazing and delicious :)

  • hahah that is kind of contradictory that she measures every single thing even tho she does not believe in it. ha. Maple syrup...i dont know it looks good but i wonder how healthy is it?

  • its actually REALLY good, and kept me full for like 5 hours. it tastes like rice pudding

  • Is the rice already cooked?

  • @Mangogoesbananas yes sure =)

  • @Mangogoesbananas Yes it is cooked

  • i love this receipe, so i use the minute brown rice 90 s, easiest.

  • oatmeal much better

  • My my my; magnificent man-made mammaries, ma'am.

  • Awesome recipie! I will be making this tomorrow!! Kudos for you for knowing that you are thin and being able to say so! If you work for it, appreciate it! Nothing worse than thin people who bitch about needing to lose weight!

  • She has an amazing physique and skin, you all should listen to her. I disagree with the soya milk choice, I've done a lot of research and soya and have only found bad things. Goats milk is also a viable choice.

  • Did you see her nude tape, I just googled it and found it on ->

    XXXCelebrityVideos(dot)net

  • there was a chance that this video could have turned me on but her right arm is so bony that you can see the veins under the skin, thats not natural, she needs meat on her bones... I'm sure there's a doctor that could take some of the fat out of her chichis and inject it in her arms

  • the maple syrup is great, but it has minerals in it, not vitamins. any soy product is NOT healthy. portion control: good! microwave use with a plastic container? really bad.

  • I bet there is probably MAX..MAX..under 10 grams protein in that breakfast if that...Why not scramble up 2 eggs and add to that concoction ....That shit would then be bomb!

  • Where's the protein??

Also, that looks more than 1/2 cup of rice. did you mean 1/2 cup uncooked rice so it will be a cup after cooked?

  • You mean if I eat this I'll look like her? Pass.

  • @kelliloop

kelil you're probably fat, don't hate the player, hate the game
