  • Again, WHAT the HELL is with the damned OEDIPUS COMPLEX argument?! Do you NOT understand what Freud's ACTUAL theory on that psychological complex entailed?

Oedipus Complex: sexual desire for the mother and a desire to do away with the father, who is standing in one's way. Note: SEXUAL desire.

When was that ever depicted in any of the appearances Sephiroth and/or Jenova appeared? Answer: Never. He wished to EMULATE her, to continue where she left off.

  • 2:40 Didn't Kefka turn crazy because they gave him magic powah but screwed up partially which screwed him up?

  • @MultiFortunatus That's it exactly.

  • The things I most agree with are Kefka actually destroyed the world and like the Joker he even makes you laugh while doing it, but in this weird twisted that you still want to rip his guts out, force feed them to him, chop him into to pieces and toss them into the ever burning abyss of hell.

Sephy is really just a male model (not a bad one though) :P

Kefka needs to be in Kingdom Hearts III with Terra, Celes and Locke as well.

  • @DeliciousRobot789 Kefka never destroyed the world. He scarred the surface. If he truly destroyed it there would have been nothing left.

  • I like Sephiroth more then Kefka however I am not going to get pissed of just because this video contains a different opinion than my own.

  • @411811318152399 your not supposed to ''like'' the final villain in that sense kefka is the better villain

  • @Badguy260 Villains can be likeable, I freaking love The Joker and he is as detestable as villains come. Also Sephiroth is a sympathetic villain if you played CRISIS CORE Final Fantasy VII(a game like like more than the original Final Fantasy VII).

  • @Badguy260 Um, yes you can. I mean, people love voldemort, Joker, Xehanort, Ganon, etc, and it's because they're all so evil and insane!

  • @TheTwilightmaster6 none of them are good villains then the archdemon, the reapers, the sith lord now those are good villains

  • kefka has his own version of sin heartless angel.....

  • sephiroth is just a mummies boy...... joker ripoff is better off

  • THE TOP COMMENTS HATH BEEN DOUBLED!!

  • *gasps 50 times * i saw sephiroth smile in the first dissidia

  • How bout this when Sephiroth died, his will was so strong, he created a disease, 3 remnants were "born", and one later "transformed" into Sephiroth who still kicked Cloud's ass, whereas when Kefka died well *looks around* yep he's still dead.

  • @PsychoticNinja1 but Kefka kinda accepts it, notice how once you beat him and he fades away, THAT is the quietest moment Kefka has in the game, almost as if he's at peace, to die and be at peace, i say thats he wins there

  • @TheLazyDragoon That and he at least stayed dead instead of spawning an awful movie based on those 'remnants'.

  • @NewLuigiNegativeZone Well Sephiroth did kind of absorb the lifestream and become unkillable, and if your a bad guy who can't die your doing it right. Only reason there was a movie is because like Joshscorcher says FFVII as a whole is much more marketable. If you need to sell anything on ebay stencil sephiroth on it and it will sell

  • I guess what it all REALLY boils down to is what you consider a great villain to be. Different people define a villain differently. With my definition, Kefka is by far the better villain.

  • i lik3 kefka more but supernova should be counted as sephiroths special which is also deadly

  • ...dab in the middle of enemy territory

  • this all means one word, opinion. I mean c'mon, I just watched a kefka vs sephiroth video and so many fanboys went to war over that shit. I thank you for be mature about it instead of having a asshole comment like i seen in the fanboy wars.

  • Sephiroth is in my opinion, the better villain.

  • They are both good characters. This seemed pointless, since it's all subjective at the end of the day, meaning no matter what any argument is invalid.

  • This is Irrelevant now because of Caius.

  • Lawl never will be a truly far look at the two villians will there? Everyone is either biased to one or the other.

  • As easy as this:

Kefka: devoted FF fans who admires great villians

Sephirot: fangirls who needs more crappy fanservice

  • 2:35 -You know I just want to point something out. Kefka actually wasn't always crazy. He was the first magic knight experiment done by the emperor (Celes had this procedure done as well). Though experiment was a success, Kefka became mad as a result. It's actually unknown what his personality was like prior to when the game takes place.

  • my personal opinion, gotta disagree with alot of this, I think Kefka is a better villian but this shoulda been alot closer in my opinion

  • Actually Sephiroth final form as 7 wings

  • @TheROXASNR13 no,the one in the final battle, the one that can be over with one strike

  • nice video! but one thing: with sin harvest, wouldn't taking all but one HP make the character suffer a tad longer?

  • In my opinon nether are better they are two diferent kinds of villans who can't be compared. Secondly Hojo is the real villan of the ff7 series Jenova is just a corpes that is remote controled by separoth. Meanwhile Hojo's experiments caused 90% of Cloud, Zack and Vincent's problems!

  • wait wait wait

    1. yes Kefka did it, he destroyed the world, but sephi didn't even have that in mind, he wants the Metor to fall down, let the world immadietly heals itself and being him self in the middle of the world, wich would make him...the Earth himself... Holy shit what a Plan but failed

Point for kefka for that he did it making him a GOD!

    2. Sephi is a Genius and Cold hearted, no jokes he just kills.

Kefka is not really a genius but Coldhearted too but in a funny und destroying way

    Draw

  • @TheHolyDante 3...you just said it

    Point for Sephi

    4. did you just put Kingdom hearts together with Dissidia? thats not right you should have put the ORIGINAL abbilites.

Kefka. Fallen Angel brings the Player to 1 Hp (i thiiink)

Sephi. Super Nova has a Epic cinematic and takes (i thiiiink) 80~90% of the Health

Draw (WHY? because cinematic is worth telling too!)

    4. Kefka wants to destroy the world because he doesnt how to fell something different then the joy of Destruction.

  • @TheHolyDante Sephi is not being controlled noooooo he is controlling Yenova (that alien) he has yenova cells yes but he uses them to control the Alien and controlling Cloud to get the Black Materia and Summon Meteor to *Points up*

    Point for Sephi

    5. yeah point to sephi but only he has that genius Feeling wich i love, kefka again is JUST destroying!!!

Point for Sephi because Kefka is JUST destroying

  • @TheHolyDante 6. you forgot some things...

    1. Kefka had Six wings AFTER he became God,

Sephi had his wings after he find out he had the cells and started using them perfectly and later he had legs that resembled six wings and his right arm was one giant dark wing sooo Seven is more as six (and sephi was there not even a god, imagine what he llok like when he succeded his plan...oh yeah he would became the Earth...LOL)

    2. One Winged Angel compared Dancing Mad...hard one but let me tell you this

  • @TheHolyDante Dancing Mad IS Kefkas mind in a nutshell in the end it was the Real part where his godly mind became numb (had to say it ^^')

One Winged Angel is only the Part where he was in his Angel Form, imagine how long his Music would be if Sephi's whole life became a Nutshell, damn that would be hell long.

Point for Kefka because in the end, sephi's music was not his life in a nutsehll

    In the End we have

    5 for Sephi

    4 to Kefka

Imagine Sephi in a wonderful landscape seeing a crying girl..

  • @TheHolyDante would he kill that girl? no he would go away or maybe telling her something like "crying brings you nothing, keep that in mind"

making her cheer up and maybe the girl is standing up and following him keeping in mind that she will not cry if somethin bad is happening...AND BECOMING THE REAL ENEMY OF SEPHI!! EPIC STORY LINE XD no..

oh and the second 4 is Motivation sorry, i typed too fast

  • where can I find that megaman music?

  • i still like this intro better...

  • OK, sorry for my little freakout. I was a little frustrated that Josh made a bit of an immature statement.

Your videos are still amazing, Josh! Keep up the good work!

  • next FF rant:cloud vs squal

  • @serisdovakhin Simple: Zidane wins!

  • @ETLyrics1 ummm dude i said "CLOUD vs SQUAL" (idk if i spelled squals name right) where did u get zidane from?

  • @serisdovakhin Simple. Both of them fail as good protagonists, so there is no winner. Zidane was actually likeable, so I think he's the best! XD

  • @ETLyrics1 no offense but i beat the crap out of him (and kefka) when im mad in dissidia (they both are completley imature and make me want to kill a baby!)

  • @serisdovakhin cant he also be called leon? or did they only call him that in kh....idk, lol :P

  • @Jaknife101 he was only leon in the kh series

  • 2:39 - 2:42 Josh...that is the HARSHEST thing you have ever said. You have no idea how offended I feel by that statement. I will accept your opinion that you like Kefka more than Sephiroth (though I personally like Sephiroth better.)

BUT THAT DOESN'T MEAN YOU CAN GO AHEAD AND (unintentionally) CALL ME A GIRL!!!

  • SMACK!

  • damn i was hoping for a KABOOOOOOOOM at the end there... oh well

  • there is a sephiroth fanboy*points at self*

  • @bigdanzvgm There is a fag *points at you*

  • @GrieverHP03 Guilty ^_^ tehe

  • Kefka is just better as a villain. He has no true motive, he only wants everything to suffer and enjoys seeing things suffer. Sephiroth is driven by a purpose, Kefka is just evil for the hell of it.

  • Sure I can agree Kefka is the better villian but who is more well known really?

  • @mrguy22494 Final Fantasy VII is way overrated for what it really is. I think it's only known because it's the first one to feature on a 3D system rather than sprites. But true gamers will play for the games themselves, not the graphics. It's the classics that started it all. Personally, VI was my first Final Fantasy game. But it remains my favourite after playing the others. Even more than IV. It simply has a better story.

  • @EriahSylverstone When I played VI, I literally lost interest during the second half of the game (after the destruction of the world) because it simply seemed as if there was no real trace of a story. All you do is go and get your party back and you don't even have to do that once you get the airship as long as you have 3 people. Golbez remains my favorite villain simply due to his theme, his ruthlessness, and the fact that at the age of 5 or so, he took his newborn brother and left him to die.

  • I never played a final fantasy game, and if I did, given this impression, I probably would have liked kefka more. Sephiroth just looks too basic for me, while kefka is a character one would want to learn more about.

  • dab in the middle of enemy territory.

  • I respectfully disagree. Sephiroths strongest attack is actually supernova which can kill you in one hit. there personality, kefka psycho. Sephiroth mad prophet(I feel as though you went with movie/KH sephiroth). also you already did appearences(For the love of god the wing was added in the movie not the main game) length of music is unneeded, and i believe you already did personality. So try and stick with the main game rather than all the crap square released. nice rating though.

  • @syswhocares The wing was present in game, you really can't miss it. the super nova attack, well, Nostalgicsince2005 answered you there. As for personality, because you're psycho you don't have a personality? He's clearly a nihilistic bastard with a relatively good sense of humor and a penchant for power, he's a manipulative bastard and at times rather one dimensional but he has a personality nevertheless.

And a backstory, he's the court mage but even then, he held the emperor's ear before..

  • @syswhocares Sorry had to do a two parter.

Before turning into the first experimental magitek knight, infusing himself with magical energy which is a project that he's apparently overseen or snuck into the laboratories and/or facility plant once or twice as was demonstrated when he tossed Shiva and Ifrit for disposal.

Due to his knowledge, one could theorize that he's orchestrated the entire war in search of the power in the tales of the War of the Magi. And was very successful in it.

  • Point 1 & 2: Sephiroth's design, just like his personality is to scare the player. He's a daunting, atmospherically choking character of legend that would eradicate his foes instanly. Hence why his methods were to try and obliterate the planet in one go, unlike Kefka who preferred to terrorise. Because Kefka is a skeptic nutjob yet physically weak and designed to annoy the player, this allows him to plausibly ruin the face of the Earth mid game and staying canon; it wouldn't work with Sephiroth.

  • I used to worship Sephiroth. Then I played FF7. Then I saw Kefka.

  • @runescapekillerful Wait, so you liked Sephiroth without having played FF7, then after playing Final Fantasy 7 you saw Kefka...

    Did you play FF6 yet?

  • @Testsubject909 I've actually just recently acquired it on my Playstation 3, and have played a bit into it (Enough to hear his laugh and about the SAND on his boots)

  • Comment removed

  • point 1 - acceptable enough

    point 2 - only opinion

    point 3 - opinion

point 4 - Cmon. Seph would dominate if they ever foght.

point 5 - Once Seph enters the life stream after Crisis Core, he actually controlls Jenova, Making HIM THE MAIN VILLIAN.

point 6 through watever- All opinions and who gives a shit about wing numbers.

  • @docbach329 Having played Dissidia quite a few times and learned how to play Kefka's keepaway methods.

Point 4, not really. It's stupidly easy to interrupt anyone midflight and just toss a few homing firespells their way to keep whittling them down for the kill.

Also, it's barely mentioned but Kefka's main weapon in game whenever you fought his sprite was a Morning Star. One of the more devastating weapons of medieval times that you could find.

  • kefka only has four wings

  • Kefka...you've destroyed a planet....Sephiroth has destroyed the ENTIRE SOLAR SYSTEM....Sometimes more then once in the same fight...that is power.

  • @jonsandersgame He didn't. If you refer to Super nova, you can

actually consider that the extension of power of his attack, furthermore, if true

it would be useless the point of calling the Holy from the Earth and the Meteor

backstory if Sephiroth would do that in one single attack that actually leaves the party near death and doesn't properly kill.

  • @jonsandersgame Eh, that lost it's impact after the first few times he used it. The first time, it was impressive. Then I saw the damage it did, I laughed because it was in three digits.

Then he did it a few more times. It became tiresome because it took so long to complete...

And when Sephiroth died, all was well. When I killed Kefka, I killed all magic and possibility of the survival of an entire magical race along with him.

    Kefka's plainly more traumatic.

  • @Testsubject909 True, after the first few times it got very boring...the first time it was like "Holy shit" then "Ehh...Fuck...HURRY UP". As for fights...I didn't like Kefka's...If Kefka is a god...then He shouldn't be able to die...but no...several mortals manage to kill him easily *Easy defined by player's skill* Gods are not supposed to die...and Kefka dies...so he isn't a god...he is just...an asshole..a very...Creepy...Powerful Asshole

  • as the Fairy Joker Said. while Sephiroth is UNDENIABLY AWESOME. kefka will ALLWAYS be the most Epic Villian in the final Fantasy series.

I once asked my brother about if he thinks if Sephiroth is a mama's boy... My brother litterally Told me to eat shit. because he is incredibly awesome.

when i asked him wich villain he likes more Kefka or Sephiroth. he said without hesitation that Kefka is the best Final Fantasy Villian.

So i cant call him a Sephiroth fan boy now can i =/

  • Comment removed

  • I'm a Kefka fangirl thank you very much XD

  • Kefka's HP = 62,000

    Sephiroth's HP = 80,000 to 400,000

    Do the math.

  • @MakutaDreadscythe does'nt sephiroth have only 1 hp?

  • @NinjaMetalic thats the scripted battle, I mean Safer Sephiroth.

  • @MakutaDreadscythe Sephiroth has like, 1HP, he is instant kill.

  • @TheDemocraticSoviet I meant Safer Sephiroth...clearly you know nothing about FF7.

  • @MakutaDreadscythe I know, we are just insulting Sephiroth because he is a mama's boy.

  • @TheDemocraticSoviet Well, technically he isn't. Sephiroth has enough willpower to not be controlled by Jenova and simply follows in her footsteps (this is considering after he found out he was considered "just an experiment"). Or...lets put it like this. Jenova doesn't throw about Sephiroth's body parts as a tool, Sephiroth uses Jenova as a tool instead. I don't want to come off wrong, Kefka's cool, and I can see why people like him, but I think Sephiroth needs to be better understood.

  • @MakutaDreadscythe I do to, but he is so fun to insult.

  • @MakutaDreadscythe Sephiroth definitely needs to be better understood. Though the writing isn't really in his favor and looking at the overall story, I still feel that naming him the main villain is an erroneous statement. That said, Kefka and Sephiroth both excel in their own categories.

For Final Fantasy 7, I seriously feel that Hojo is the main villain. And if you go with the entirety of the Final Fantasy 7 series, including all spin-offs and additions. It further cements it with FF7: DoC.

  • @MakutaDreadscythe Lucifer: 65,535

Thousands of times more difficult then either Kefka or Sephiroth.

But still not as imposing or a devious a villain when considered within their own separate games. And I'm talking about Shin Megami Tensei Nocturne's Lucifer. (Actually, his desire to rebel against god feels pretty well motivated, despite the end result being rather perplexing).

  • Joshscorcher, You are one of the greatest minds science has ever discontinued -GLaDOS

You are very awesome though, I think kefka is quite enjoyable

  • News Reporter- As of yesterday, all fan girls of Sepheroth have taken joshschorcher's rant on Kefka and Sepheroth as an unofficial declaration of war, all internet users not wanting to be apart of the impending flame war should seek shelter within a book or day to day bussiness, just as long as you're not on the internet

  • Yeah epic trioll flame time!!!! Yeha Kefka pawns poor sephiroth.. reason... kefka came 1st and did what he wanted to do!! Then they had to say" how do we attempt to make a more badass boss" lets not make him look like a clown or mime, they are both tooo scary!!

props to vid maker! you hit all the good points!! Hell with all the back story crap!!! Kefka is kefka, no alien crap in him to moviate or control him or steer him in a direction?? He see is, he buys it, he owns it!! BOSS!

  • @PaperRayman If "they all lost in the end" was a valid argument, then that would make every villain in Final Fantasy terrible.

  • Guys.. You won't believe it.. but Sephiroth is JEWISH! (not the religion, but the people). Kefka is an Italian/Roman. Sephiroth has long grey hair, superiority complex, height, strong jaw, long kike nose, and "giftedness" that most Jews in this world possess.

  • @anythingnew Huh...

....huh... And now I'm reminded of the fact that Japan was allied with Germany in world war 2 and that they often depict strong beautiful characters in game and in anime as blonde haired people with clear blue eyes, similar to the ideals of perfection viewed by...

You know what? I'm not even going to touch this with a ten foot long stick. Maybe twelve, but not ten.

  • @Testsubject909 I made a Sephiroth is Jewis video. Go watch it

  • is good enough to beat all the villians, in the ff universe, not just kefka/sephy

  • @ultimategiygas Yup, and with proper planning and training, all FF villains are pretty damn easy to beat so high five!

  • destroyed the solar system and kefka destroyed the world

giygas has legitimate reasons for the hatred and his influence on pokey caused the near end of all life TWICE and his spirit remained in pokey afterwards while sephy died 3 times and kefka died once AS A GOD

so all in all giygas can defeat everyone in the final fantasy universe(possibly)

and so giygas won and he wasnt even near a god. just a lifeform who sacrifised mind and memories for power and you feel sad for him and scared and thay

  • THIS REINFORCES SEPHIROTH ALRIGHT

giygas influenced pokey to do this to the point where he became sickly, aged rapidly, cause all the events of mother 3 to happen, and became more powerful to the point of near immortality.

    FINAL CONCLUSION

giygas took all the power of the earth and the player manipulating the events to stop him, kefka and sephy was stoped by a single party

giygas was at his weakest when all that happenned and if not stoped, destroyed the universe while sephy

  • to being fubard and nearly became a od and still destroyed the solar system, giygas took all that IN HIS WEAKEST FORM and in 10 years in the future, he conqured THE UNIVERSE AND OBTAINED THE TITLE UNIVERSAL COSMIC DESTROYER

    3. backstory wise its a tie because all have a backstroy per say

4.fear actually enveloped the party when they fought giygas (at least thats what i think) and continue in next comment

  • even though my user name would make this sound biased but im not.

Giygas can pwn both in battle. heres why

    1. similar to garland/chaos. if they fought him in the present. they would lose while in the past for 10-100 years at the weakest form and it required the maximum strength from ness and the entire power of the earth and even the player himself to stop him (like kid buu)

2.power wise, even gods have fallen to other non gods and kefka was killed like that.an sephiroth tried to desimate it

  • It doesn't matter which villain is "better", since they both lost at the end.

    Debate. Over.

  • hang on, you compared kefka's number of wings in his final form, to sephiroth's in his first, even though sephiroth's final form (safer sephiroth) has a total of 7 wings

  • Comment removed

  • :/ Kefka is by far a more terrifying, evil character... but I kinda dig em' both.

  • @justintitus17 even though I don't care about the game I learned from josh that sepherogh has no emotions but at least he doesn't boast and monologe like Exdeath

  • @Hujyn100 A walking talking tree obsessed with nothingness.

Creative, yes... But I do honestly feel anything is better then that.

  • hmm im kinda new to this this but how is a clown who just does magic only and nothing physical beat a swordsman who does both magic and physically kick some ass. i would just like to know

  • @justintitus17 Well if you want the possibility.

In Dissidia, Kefka is an excellent keepaway character with homing attacks and interrupting attacks that can keep him easily safe for a final blow and kill.

In canon, Kefka utilizes a morning star as a weapon which to me is as imposing as a man who carries an unbalanced katana. In terms of magic though, Kefka becomes the incarnation and source of magic as opposed to a wielder of it.

Also, his class is that of a Magitek Knight.

  • ...I take it that im the only one here that likes both?

  • @AzurePhantom47 Nah, tons of people like both Kefka and Sephiroth.

I like Kefka, a whole lot. I like Sephiroth, but not what he's become with more and more appearances that he's done and with how the fanboys and fangirls depicts him.

And as a villain, I prefer Hojo from the same game he comes from. Hojo just felt like a more effective, disturbing and vile a character while Sephiroth felt mainly imposing as an opponent rather then anything else to me.

  • SMACK!

  • SMACK!

  • SMACK!!!!

  • How is Sephiroth a Mama's boy if his mother is Lucrecia!?!??!?!?!

  • @lweldon007 He takes jenova as his mother because of the many experiment regarding jenovas cell dr hojo did with him

  • @lweldon007 lol good point mate

  • I love the "Anything Petty" category

  • 2:38 Woah woah woah woooah, there are Kefka fangirls too you know!!

  • @Wykletypl Wait so Kefka was a science expiriment gone wrong?! This villian story is sooooooooo goood daaammmnnn origenal and totally counters my generic villian arguement from before. But seriously this just inforces my origenal arguement

  • @JackFirebane He's the court mage and an influencial political figure who had the full trust and attention of the emperor and who displayed knowledge that was known only by the descendants of the survivors of the war of the magi. He's displayed a continued desire for power, a penchant for destruction and his own personal entertainment as well as an overzealous attitude.

There certainly are details in which Sephiroth's backstory holds more originality, but the delivery isn't quite the same.

  • @Testsubject909 You have made a excellent point and yes Sephiroths backstory isnt delivered in a. . .well it really was a secondary thing in story development in the game even though it should have taken more of it

  • KEFKA<ALL HE WAS WAS A GENERIC PURE EVIL CHARACTER WHO SUCCEEDED AT WHAT HE DID

Sethiroth was an actual developed character with real backstory and sure he was a mommas boy, but at least he actually had a character

Kefka- there are 20 thousand makes of this one character model

Sethiroth- there is only ONE mommas boy villian with a real backstory

  • @JackFirebane When it comes to Kefka, not really, because he too had a backstory.

According to it, he was the first subject of Magitech experiment, who got magical abilities and survived the process. This made him the most powerful quasi-wizard of all subject (on of them being Celes), however, because the process wasn't perfected yet, it ruined Kefka's mentality, turning him into what he is as we know.

  • hey fiery joker, where's ur top 10 most hated characters list?i'm curious

  • K, Im a sephiroth fan.. but you put my foot in my mouth... +1 Kefka.

  • hey fiery joker, where's ur video on top ten most hated video game characters?

  • -.- Sephiroth didnt intend to destroy the planet with Meteor, He planned to create a large enough injury so the planet would use an ungodly amount of energy to heal it. Sephiroth would then go to the center of the energy collection and absorb the energy and become a god. He would then destroy any planet in his way. Also, JENOVA isnt even close to the main villian. Who burned Nibelhiem? Sephy. Who killed Aerith? Sephy. Whos the villian? Sephy.

  • is it just me or near the start ie; 0:25 can you hear "because i can?"

  • Uh, Josh I have a question for you, if you hate Kefka, Why do you constantly mention him? You made him number one on both your Top 10 Final Fantasy list and you top 15 Craziest Characters List. He won in the Kefka vs. Sephiroth, and in your top 10 things you like in video games you showed a created Kefka Palazzo on Soul Caliber 4. I don't get it.

  • @IWillSlash91 I hate Kefka, he ruined the entire world, poisoned the people of Doma, is the main reason behind Cyan's suffering and shows little to no care for it, he's a nihilistic bastard whose victory can bring Celes to a suicide attempt, he murdered General Leo and disposed of his dead carcass as if it was a bag of garbage, he manipulated Terra into creating a burning inferno that Nibelheim feels similar to without the same emotional weight and most likely is behind Terra losing her emotions

  • @IWillSlash91 But I like him nonetheless. He's a very entertaining character, charismatic in his delivery and his colorful sprite, I can't deny his deviousness and capabilities and all in all, he's just a damn good villain.

I don't know what Josh's answer is to the question though, but that's what I can tell you for myself as how you can both like and hate a character.

Like him for what he is, hate him for what he's done.

  • @Testsubject909 I Like Kefka two, in fact if you look at my channel there's Kefka all over the channel, I even called myself the Omnicidal Clown.

  • i agree with this video.also the sheer fact that FFVII is very overrated.good game but overrated

  • i complete agree with you josh

  • biggest difference between Kefka and Sephiroth: Kefka actually destroyed the world.

  • Sephiroth didn't want to destroy the world, he wanted to create an injury large enough so the Planets Core would overflow with energy of the LifeStream. Just because Seph's actions were influenced by JENOVA, doesn't really make JENOVA the main villain. That's like saying (If you ever played Lunar.) Dyne and Althena are the main villains in Lunar since they are the ones who made Ghaleon see only Despair&Cruelty and decides to resume the roll of "God" and not make the same mistake as Althena made.

  • just throwing this out there.....garland beats both of them lol

  • I like the old intro better. :(

    The one with Libera Fatali.

  • btw, your being unfair, you dont know shit about sephiroth, he killed 1000 of people, manipulated the shit out of the world and his super nova is his true epic move, kefka is cool, in my point sephiroth is equal to kefka but i like sep more cours he has the self respect to stay serious, its stupid to see how people just try to bring sephiroth down all the time by using bad examples and bad recherche, do your homework first, everybody knows there equal, its just a Mather of taste

  • @jefthereaper shut the fuck up no one wants to hear your shitty little fanboy arguments.

  • @pixelartistdiogalesu owww look a fuckface know it all, lissen prick, i respect a lot of people and i know your a lowlife, if you dont like my opinion dont read it or dont comment on it! its that fucking simple, this world is not your plaything, im living here too and if you dont like it go screw yourself

  • @jefthereaper Nigga I said shut the fuck up and quit being so damn emotional over everyone's opinion.

  • @jefthereaper I have to disagree that Kefka and Sephiroth are equal for 2 reasons.

    1. The main villian in FF7 was actually Jenova not Sephiroth. and in the end didnt Jenova take over him or something like that?

    2. Kefka actually Destroyed the world where as Sephiroth never actually acomplished this.

Sephiroth is "OK" in my book and I will admit he looks more badass than Kefka but in the end, Kefka is infact the better villian.

  • @Ritsuchan100 ah, glad to hear somebody that does not scold but actualy talks sense, nice to meet you,

yes yes, my point in being i did not mean equal in strength, i just ment equal in villain being,

you see, sephiroth was not taken over by jenova, quite the oposide, after jenova was killed and her head was taken by the real sephiroth into the life stream that sephiroth build himself stronger by mixing with the head absorbing power over all those years form the stream, (continue)

  • after years he decited (with his alien/centra/human mind) to use the left over jenova body and controle if from a distance, shape shifting it into himself, shure jenova spiced the midgar zollom on a tree and did things you cant imagin, but you have to keep in terms that the real sephiroth has become even stronger then that, sephiroth only failed in the end cours

1 cloud and co were way better then terra and co

2 kefka was in a high social position, sephiroth was a outcast,

  • @Ritsuchan100 you see, if sephiroth and kefka would both have been equal in social standards and life, well they would both have gotten far and failed, if they would both have been ego maniac rulers like kefka, well they thay would both have been gods and destroy the world easy, (see also that seph's super nova, destroys the earth but he rebuilds it with his god power, why? well the life of the earth is his strenght, at least untill he absorbs it all)

  • @Ritsuchan100 so i would say sephiroth and kefka are both equal, to be frankly honest i dont see why people want to see a epic duell betwean, them, i want to see them fight side by side totaly god terrorizing everything in the world! O_o

  • @jefthereaper hmm... I suppose watching a God and a one winged angel terrorize over everything would be pretty cool.

  • @Ritsuchan100 technically i was speaking of the full god sephiroth (it was never released but there were rumors that there were sketches from a full god sephiroth, they looked similar to safer sephiroth but less childish, some say those sketches were leaked but i was never able to find them, i did however find a mod that makes sephiroth look like a full god and i would love to see kefka fight beside his side XD)

  • @Ritsuchan100 here, type this in youtube

Final Fantasy VII Fan Remake Project: Summon Reborn v0.7.12693

its still rumors so i cant say im right or wrong but to the rumors the modded safer sephiroth at the end of the movie looks very similar to the true god sephiroth, but he was able to use his sword arm too,

the creator just made this of his own mind but this is very close to his true god form that was never even made (shame on the makers)

  • @jefthereaper it wasnt made because he never became a god. lol and from what I read in the discription of that video these are mods. o-o

  • @Ritsuchan100 um yeah that's what i meant with "the modded safer sephiroth"

duh, please read my message carefully, this mod came close to what was described of the "true god sephiroth" that was only made on sketch, originally sephiroth should also have become a god and wipe out the solar system (that's the origin of his super nova move) but apparently the creators tough they had to lower sephiroths progress, simply course kefka in the prev game became god too and they did not want to look cliche

  • but to compress all my talk to 1 point, simply im saying if sephiroth and kefka would exist in the same world, starting at the same position in live (not high class or bum status, not hero or tyrant)

they they would both acheave just as much and be equal, i mean did you even know "heartless angel" was originally kefka's move? he still uses it too and a normal move just as sephiroth does

  • the only thing i admire much about sephiroth (this made me like him more then kefka)

is that he actualy came back form the dead, shure hes not half god anymore but still strong so hey!

  • but everybody must like kefka's madness, tough i hate his colorful appearance

  • @jefthereaper LOL thats what its all about. His personality and his actions. Thats why alot of us like him. Yeah I will admit his aperance is not the greatest but I still kinda like it xD
