NEW APOSTOLIC MOVEMENT........... I go to an Apostolic church and am embarassed that people would say there is a new apostolic movement. What happend to the original apostolic movement. If this world would return to holiness and modesty there would not be the need to be in the world we live in today, although it has to be so i guess this world is still coming to an end..... Yes Send revival to america we need it.!!!!!!!!!!
Most of us have under estimated these ultra religious nut jobs by making fun of them, big mistake. Thank goodness shows like this can showcase these assholes and expose them for the enemies of America they are.
Hmmm. My guess is that RP is a sleazy opportunist who would align himself with whatever group appears most able to suit his own agenda. My guess is that he is spiritually bereft, and that he is no less a charlatan that the counterfiet Christians who comprise the NAR.
3:40 - if god wants to end abortion, which is the least of humankind's worries - e.g stop famine in Africa - then how about he starts with himself? God aborts zygotes & foeti far in excess of the number of human-induced abortions. So let god set an example. While he's at it let's not allow babies to die of starvation & disease shortly after they're born & how about not killing the mother in child birth? I forgot - "pro-lifers" don't give a shit about adults
Religion and politics are a toxic combination. Look at the Taliban and you will see the eventual result of the fusion between religion and policy. The religious right is among the most dangerous threats that now faces the USA (alongside over-privatization, buying of elections, and the ignorance propagated by the tea party).
Remaining objective, it seems clear to me that Perry supports the Apostolic Movement from his his own rhetoric. Religious government does not work folks. This is specifically why America was fought for... to get away from religious oppression. And now in the 21st century, we are actually being threatened to turn the clock back to a "religious monarchy." Read your history books folks or at the very least go to Wikipedia.
I look at all these preachers and the one thing always comes to mind is the image of them getting sexually excited over that scene out of "Dead Zone". "The missiles are flying. Hallelujah! Hallelujah!" I see these people, their ideology and have a really hard time as regarding them as actual human beings. they are shit-scary.
@NorthForkFisherman The Dead Zone is exactly where my mind went. That is the way these guys think. It is like an organization out of Chris Carter's short lived show Millennium.
Spineless from the start, sucked into the part circus comes to town, you play the lead clown Please, please spreading his disease, living by his story Knees, knees falling to your knees, suffer for his glory You will Time for lust, time for lie time to kiss your life goodbye Send me money, send me green Heaven you will meet Make a contribution and you'll get a better seat BOW TO LEPER MESSIAH - Metallica ┌∩┐(◕_◕)┌∩┐
I'm glad someone in the msm finally brought this movement out into the light. The New Apostolic Reformation is a dangerous political movement. They want christian dominion in ALL aspects of society including government, military, and public schools.
Hell, Mit Romney is looking almost human when compared with Prick Perry. US, please get a third, fourth and fifth candidate. For the sake of this planet.
Here I am, in my spare time, toying around with a short film idea that would explore what it would take to make a global Jonestown. A global mass-suicide. Probably it would take some form of religion. I deemed this maybe a bit far-fetched.
But again and again, I am reminded by the news-coverage that the growing religious right in America wants to take power in order to bring on the rapture. To bring on the apocalypse. To end the world as we know it. And I realize that I may be not too far off.
Whether Perry really believes it or not, it's a smart political move to appeal to those Christians in the US who just won't trust a Mormon to be the President. The NAR movement highlights this to the public.
It's too bad moderates don't vote at the rate radicals do. None of this would even be a very big problem. Australia has the right idea.
This is fucking scary the thought that this guy could actually become a president one day, I mean the largest state in the nation voted him in as governor, that is terrifying
@jpc08109: A man who believes that 1000 hands clasped in prayer is worth more than one mans hands clasped on the tools needed to actually solve the problem.
@jpc08109 I live in TX. Yes, Perry won 55% of the vote in 2010, but he has one of the lowest approval ratings in the state. Many people on both sides of the aisle hate this man, he's evicerated our education system and has overseen our state climb lists like #3 in teen pregnancy, #1 in uninsured people, etc. He's only still governor because 2006 allowed him to run against two strong independents and a Democrat and he only won with 36% as Texas has no runoff. Also TX is #2 in size and population.
Rick Perry is full of Bulloney. He will talk up prayer if it will get the miracle of votes. Most people have seen right through it.

"Anti-abortion prayer"! WTF? It's Christians, ordinary people, who would ban abortion, not god himself! So, it is political.
