This simple drive shaft mod works well and you won't have anymore drive shaft issues. The 1/10 scale traxxas u-joint balls stick out about 3mm further preventing then from comming out. This video was taken during esc testing with the stock 4000kv motor. The final system 5200kv. Madness turned to INSANITY.

Looks like he took the stock esc out and replaced it with perhaps a castle creations mamba max or an E-Z Run unit.
