I agree that the movie was bad. I watched a couple more times though and it grew a bit on me....still not what it could have been. The TV series gave them such GREAT groundwork to build from and they trashed it with a "pre-emo" Penny and the epitome of dysfunctional in families almost to the poing of stereotyping. Yuck. Gary Oldman is still a great actor and I loved his head nods to Jonathan Harris.

I agree! "Batman and Robin" was the worst of the Batman franchise. It was like a big budget version of the old "Batman" TV series.

Too bad, because Clooney made a great Batman!

And to think: The "Lost in Space" series became "Campy" because they were up against the old "Batman" series in their second season!

Unfortunately, the movie was a pant-load!

They took everything enjoyable about the series and s*it-canned it. The only cool thing was Dick Tufeld (the original robot voice) was added.

I love the original soundtrack to the classic series. My favorite theme song of all time is the thrid season Lost In Space theme. John Williams is the best!

This had to be one of the worst experiences I've ever had in a theater. Why do they always think they have to revamp? Besides just being a hollow, joyless film it had none of what makes the show so special. The only good pary was because of it I got to watch the show for the first time on the Space channel.
