Hey vice, you are right about the African difference, but on the same note, Africans also don't understand why Blacks in America seem to have friction towards whites. The same goes for the Caribbean, where forever people have had interracial relationships, and it's no big deal. Racism does work both ways, and of course black people are still coming up from years of being held down, but it has improved A LOT, and it's a dead excuse. Don't forget the past, but live in the future.

'Harder for black people' is a cop-out. My stepfather is black, my sister's boyfriend is black. Neither of them cop this piss-weak attitude that they're hard-done by. Everyone suffers from racism in some form or another, not just 'white ppl picking on black ppl' but it IS predominantly blacks that let it define who they are and what they can achieve in life. That's how racism breeds. U can never stop it happening but u can choose how u deal with it. Ppl would do well to remember that.

Whenever I dialogue with other races about this issue they can never really grasp the concept. First of all I am an educated black man...and yes it is possible for us to prosper but the bottom line is...it has always been more difficult for blacks as a whole; of course you have the exceptions. I think it bothers white people that they caused racism to even exist in the first place. I've neve been one to use the argument as a crutch but the facts are the facts..I didn't make it that way.

He can actually sing and harmonize very well.
