  • You are not telling the truth...because you don't know the truth....I met Jesus in a vision...and it was real He knew my entire life story....and He is real...in a glorified body..!

  • This is nothing reveal here

  • i love his blue eye

  • What do you have to say about Muslim's who have seen Jesus Christ and had visitations from him?

  • I have had a REAL vision of Jesus. Not only did I have the vision, but many questions I had about God were answered to me almost instantly with another vision explaining the answer every time I had asked a question I wanted answered.

The vision I saw of Jesus was not like any picture or statue I have ever seen before or after the event. Jesus presented himself to me as an image of a shadow and within that shadow, I saw and somehow felt his pain that he has from bearing everybody's sins.

    I<3GOD

  • ah I can see there's no truth to be found here, only denial... thanks anyways

  • @TrunkMonkey3000 If you have confirmed it to be true, why even bother clicking on this video?

  • @webdawah Ah I didn`t confirm it to be true, I was suggesting there is no truth to be found here. Plus, the title of the video is decieving, it`s a deception in its entirety.

By the way we know exactly what Jesus Christ looks like because Jesus' burial cloth was imprinted with an image of Christ's dead body during his ressurection. If you would like to study it it`s called the Shroud of Turin. Blessings.

  • @TrunkMonkey3000 You are not saying anything new. Plus, if you know anything about titles, you would know that they don't have to be exactly what the body is saying.

  • @webdawah Ah I see you`re a follower of the prophet of the lineage of Ishmael. Their generation is both blessed and cursed, and their hand is against everyone's. Still so true even today. I don`t want to have anything to do with that, even though I think there`s definitely some truth to be found in that - but - it`s both blessed and cursed.

  • @TrunkMonkey3000 You are not making any sense, and I doubt that you have any. Good riddance.

  • wwwdotExposingChristianitydotcom

  • I know of some people whod never heard the name of Jesus, much less seen a picture of Him, encounter Jesus in NDE (clinical death). True that the brain can send familiar waves to visual effect, but this is not always the case. When I'm in doubt, I pray to God that He will help me to discern false prophets from people who really want to share their visions of God. Your video did nothing for me because its something you repeated from a scientific report or something like that. So what?

  • @boomrsoonrupinyoze Dreams are subjective. Is there anyone with a NDE who has never seen or heard about Jesus(pbuh) who claims what he saw introduced itself as Jesus? I

  • @webdawah Yes; surprisingly, a lot of them have said that He introduced Himself as "Yahweh" or "Christ" or "God's son"... among a few other titles for Him.

  • @boomrsoonrupinyoze Can you link me to one of such examples?

  • @webdawah Shoi! There are quite a few scattered in my favorites but one in which a guy mentions he didn't know about Christ is "Documentary on NDE Near Death Experiences" by spiritlessons. It's an hour and a half long but well worth the watch. Hope you enjoy!

  • @boomrsoonrupinyoze I have seen video, but none of them claimed they saw Jesus, and they never seen a picture of him prior.

  • @webdawah Well, the guy who talked about his father killing his lamb said he didn't know about Jesus, so I was kind of assuming he may have vaguely noticed a picture of Him once or twice, if at all... but wasn't talked to about Christ. Could be a silly assumption on my part, but I have seen videos of people saying they were Muslim/Buddhist/Atheist/Agnostic until they met Jesus in an NDE. They may have heard about them, but if they claim they met Jesus in NDE when they didn't before believe...

  • @webdawah ...indicates to me that who they met was not only a vision they were hoping to see or even something sitting in the back of their minds (I wouldn't even know what Buddha looks like so I don't think my mind can concoct him out of no material... maybe that's just me, though) but they're being truthful (because who wants to admit a religion one followed for years turned out to be disproven?). I guess I am giving the benefit of the doubt when they say what they saw/experienced was true.

  • And sorry to keep flooding your video with comments, LOL, but these people have explained Christ's appearance, demeanor, and voice explicitly... and these details are eerily ALL the same as others'. I could link you to a bunch of videos but respectfully I believe if you wish to know, you can search for your answers. :)

  • STFU everyone! EVERYONE DOESN'T HAVE TO BE A CHRISTIAN! WE ALL HAVE DIFFERENT RELIGIONS!!!!! IM NOT CHRISTAIN! I BELIEVE IN SATAN,IF YOU HAVE A PROB. WITH THAT,I DON'T CARE BECAUSE ITS MY RELIGION AND YOU CAN'T CHANGE ME OR MY RELIGION!

  • You are an anti-Jesus, 'bait and switch', PHONY.

  • @PureChristians I am not anti-Jesus. I was just trying to show that such a claim[in the title] is PHONY.

  • @webdawah, YOUR title is purposely misleading. From YOUR, 'phony' headline, you spiral downwardly

per: "-your mind is playing tricks on you." In my opinion, your belief and/or intellectual opinion, has you discounting and/or degrading what a Person actually has experienced. YOUR mind is trying to 'play tricks' to discount and/or degrade. Further, in my opinion, after Jesus CHRIST, the next greatest Religious leader is Muhammad. Your Belief, fine; intelligently explain about great Muhammad

  • @PureChristians I never discounted that people see things in their sub-conscious, but to base on faith on that is foolish.

  • Look at the Shroud of Turin, that's not a vision, it's an image...

  • @comali2212 Does that image look like that of a 33 year old?

  • @webdawah If you remove the stains, the blood, the welts, the wounds, the disfiguration from hundreds of kicks, punches, spits, dirt, excrements, mud, sweat, dust, burns, punctures, not to mention the black and white picture on a 2000 years linen Shroud, a Shroud that was transported from hand to another, from place to another, and was almost burned... you might see a younger Man.

Look at His body, does it seem like an old man?.. An old man could have been died from a single punch.

  • @comali2212 I did not say it was an old man, but that image does not look like a young man either.

  • @webdawah I didn't say it's an elder either. He was 33 years old, and 33 years old is not a teen neither 23 years old, He as a grown Man. He suffered a lot in His life and His burden was so heavy.

  • I did not see a vision of Jesus, but this wind came into my room and swirled above my head for a full minute. Next day, I had changed, and all I think about now is Jesus. I did not feel wind, like it did not blow my hair about, but it was rather loud, and hovered above me in my bed, and I had no fear.....

  • How does this video prove or disprove anything? Every testimony of a person who sees Jesus in visions is consistent. I respect your opinion nonetheless. It's natural for someone to say, ah yeah, I had a dream last night with Jesus in it, and nothing in their life changes. But when thousands from around the world report they have had the same dream, and they're willing to even risk their lives because they are convinced that what they saw was real, then you have to ask the question 'why?'

  • @Drooblemeister I was not trying to prove or disprove anything. I was trying to show that dreams are subjective, and may not be a manifestation of reality. It is not wise to based your salvation on it.

  • I am a christian - - I need to be a reborn christian, actually! Anyway, I would agree with what you're saying for the simple fact that, no one really knows what Jesus looks like - - further, who created this image to say that this is what Jesus' looks like and where did the idea come from that this was the description of his appearance? That's why, kinda seldom, you here that Jesus' comes to us in many different forms - - because no one knows, there fore, we must have faith!

  • When you say you need to be 'reborn,' what do you mean exactly? I'll be praying for you..

  • @Drooblemeister In my definition it would mean that I need to give being a true Christian another try, most likely I would take up the option of being baptized again as a Christian...................but since no one's ever asked me that question before, I guess "reborn" would be a silly word to describe recommitting myself to Jesus Christ! Thnx. :)

  • That's awesome!! It's encouraging to hear that! Jesus is always there waiting for us with open arms.. Anyways, I'm always interested in hearing how God is changing people's lives, feel free to drop a message in my inbox if you'd like. Blessings,

  • ppl who have actually seen Jesus or anyother prophet in their dream don't have a description of their face but some how in a dream they are convinved that this was Jesus.

  • @kayak995 How can you be convinced of something you don't even know what it looks like?

  • @webdawah its hard to believe but a lot of ppl who have see a prophet, they say they just knew it was him. It s while you are dreaming there is that sense which tells you who that particular person is. we don't always dream of things which we are aware of or have seen.

  • @kayak995 What if that 'sense' is inaccurate?

  • @webdawah

And an Angel appeared before Muhammed. Your argument is self defeating. Hypocrisy abound. How does he know what an angel looks like? This is the man you follow.

  • @zoulkyud You are very ignorant. I am embarrassed for you. Read the story of how the revelation began, because you clearly don't know. Save yourself the embarrassment next time.

  • this video is true. i had an image of freddy kruger on my desktop wallpaper n dreamt of him, even though he's not real. my friend got into a serious car accident and said he had a vision of the grim reaper wit his sickle n scroll wit an endless list of names on it. these are all ideas planted in our minds. does any religion believe there is no hell? cuz hopefully, that thought doesn't pop in my head when i die.

  • @visionseeker50 When people cannot refute a claim, it becomes a lie.

  • Comment removed

  • @visionseeker50 Everybody can claim that about their own beliefs. Is there anything that distinguishes you from others?

  • Comment removed

  • @visionseeker50 You claim you saw Jesus. Did he look like the person you have seen in pictures?

  • Comment removed

  • @visionseeker50 I don't doubt you. I just think it is possible to see things in your dream that you are already aware of, and in such a case I would not take it seriously.

  • Comment removed

  • @visionseeker50 Did he come to you because you doubted, or where you hostile to Christians as in Paul of Tarsus? What's the significance of the appearance?

  • Comment removed

  • @visionseeker50 My point is that this is not required for salvation. In Islam, the fact that you love, and believe in God without seeing Him, makes you of even a higher status, because of your faith.

Muslims don't base verification of their faith on a vision or a dream. I'm sure Muslims too would be seeing Muhammad(pbuh) all over the place if his picture were available. That's why I don't put any value in it.

  • Comment removed

  • @visionseeker50 Would you have known who you saw, if you had not seen a picture to confirm it?

  • Comment removed

  • @visionseeker50 Did he speak to you? How did you know it was Jesus?

  • Comment removed

  • @visionseeker50 Go ahead.

  • @webdawah yes, i would have to say if anyone seen the Lord Jesus Christ they would know it. on another note about the pictures. i think they are what jesus looked liked. i mean think about it, how could the whole world get it wrong? there is only one potrayl of him no others. i mean ask yourself how could the world forget what our saviour, our god looks like :)

  • @tuvmush Whether or not he looked like that, how do you know who you are seeing if you had not seen the picture?

  • "It is finished" referred to His sacrifice for our sins - NOT His relationship with us. The organization of the Christian Church was left in the hands of St. Peter & the Apostles. As for your prophet, you have a point - the visions were just added fun, since he had no trouble justifying anything he decided to do, as being authorized by the deity.

But we're getting off point .... it is possible for people ( other than Mohammed) to have visions and spiritual experiences.

  • @MrPinksBane "the visions were just added fun, since he had no trouble justifying anything he decided to do, as being authorized by the deity."

What about the things he did not want to do but was commanded to do? What about the things he did in private, but was chastised for in public?

No one says only one person can have experiences, never said that. I only said that I take with a pinch of salt, any claim of having visions of someone whose images you had seen before.

  • @webdawah It seemed to me that the point of this video was to belittle visions of Jesus just because His image is readily available. Perhaps I misunderstood your intentions, but that is the way it appeared. I hope Jesus comes to you in a vision and that the resulting experience will be one of intense spirituality. God bless you.

  • @MrPinksBane God bless you too.

  • How much of Mohammed's faith was based on visions? Joseph Smith had a vision and now we have Mormons running all over the place. St. Paul had a vision and converted to Christianity on the spot. St. Peter had a vision and now it's ok to eat bacon. Visions can be pretty BIG deals - life changing, in fact. But not everyone gets to have them and that's ok too. Jesus said to St. Thomas, "Because you have seen me, you believed. Blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed."

  • @MrPinksBane "How much of Mohammed's faith was based on visions?" Very little.

"Joseph Smith had a vision and now we have Mormons running all over the place." He may have seen a vision, or not.

"St. Paul had a vision and converted to Christianity on the spot." Yet he was bent on doing away with the Law, that Jesus(p) did abide by.

"St. Peter had a vision and now it's ok to eat bacon." On the cross Jesus said "it is finished" yet kept appearing to people and changing things he established.

  • I guess when Mohammed had his visions, his mind was just playing tricks on him too.

  • @MrPinksBane His visions were not about someone he had already seen a picture of. Great difference.

  • @webdawah Didn't Mohammed see Jesus on his "Night Journey"? Of course, there were plenty of pictures, icons, ... representations of Jesus in Mohammed's time as well as in our time. His 1st wife, the older lady, was a Christian so I'm sure he knew of Jesus' general looks. Do you not believe in your Mohammed's vision, just because he had already been exposed to illustrations of Jesus? I bet you do! But that's not fair - to only believe that Mohammed can have a vision with Jesus & no one else can.

  • @MrPinksBane Note that he also saw Adam, Moses, Abraham(pbut). I am not intimate with the knowledge their pictures circulating all over Arabia, as you suggested. He did not know who Abraham(pbuh) was when he saw him, that he had to ask Gabriel. So, there is no parallel.

  • @webdawah Are you saying that because Mohammed's vision included other people beside Jesus, then it was a true vision? Why no parallel? People have visions of Jesus ... your prophet had a vision of Jesus ... that is a parallel. Visions take many forms, some are more detailed than others. If God wants to send people visions, who are you to discount it?

  • @MrPinksBane I am not discounting that someone can see a vision, but I would not advice to put too much into that of someone you had seen before, or basing your entire faith on that.

I don't know of anywhere in the NT where it is taught that your faith in Jesus should be because you saw him in a vision.

  • i had a dream that it was the yr 2012 and the world was being showered in meteors and i died, and in my spirit state i saw jesus standing beside adam (of adam and eve) taking souls and when jesus looked at me he just smiled and in my dream i came back to life. someone plz interpret what this could mean. thnx

  • In the last days,' God says, 'I will pour out my Spirit upon all people. Your sons and daughters will prophesy. Your young men will see visions, and your old men will dream dreams. [Acts 2:17]

  • @MostHighful When are the last days? How long has this last days been going on?

  • @webdawah I say the last days have been going on for as long as we have been seeing what Jesus predicted. Just like you, the disciples Peter, James, John, and Andrew also asked when the last days would come to be. Then Jesus said to them: "Watch out that no one deceives you. Many will come in my name, claiming, 'I am He,' and will deceive many." MARK 13:5-7 (under the title: signs of the End of the Age) now thats only one of the signs he menchained, but I wanted one I could prove to you.......

  • @MostHighful for 2000 years?

  • I believe the difference between the believers who testify their dreams and the believers who don't is that the ones who actually do take the time infact feel as if they had enough dreams in their life to tell the difference from a vision and a 'realistic' dream. I had many dreams in which I died, but didn't think I was going to die the next day. This is because I was able to recognize the affect of another realistic dream. Instead of you trying to speak for God let me type His word.......

  • "I don't think so"... that's GREAT for you. You can't determine whether or not God has shown believers in His son visions. I believe that the people taking the time to upload their testimonies must have been compelled to do so by the spirit -- which takes Faith in Him to recieve. Your facts on the brain are 100% true, but you have to think about all the other people that might of had a figure of Jesus appear in their dream and even with holy faith, knew that it was only a dream.....

  • i dont think he looks like the white Jesus in these pictures.

  • mind is playing tricks? My riend clamed he appeared to her in a hospital and HEALED her completely, she was not lying to me. Jesus Christ is real.

  • Funny thing is that everyone wants to look for Christ everywhere else but the scriptures...

  • i pray people will not be deceived and misled after watching this in jesus name. i have been healed of cancer and many other things doctors cannot explain.... our LORD JESUS CHRIST is sooo amazing!! i've had angelic encounters and have been blessed beyond what i deserve. The lord takes care of those who Love him.... i owe everything to him... HES GIVEN ME ETERNAL LIFE!!!!!! God bless you!!! <3

  • "Angelic encounters" is Jesus an angel?

  • @webdawah no jesus is the son of God.

  • @MrSilver497 Your response does not address the topic.

  • @webdawah :

stop thinking to ping-pong words here!the argument dont matter no more man! that man was healed from cancer By Him, Yeshua Elohim.

  • I always thought Jesus was black/middle Eastern looking Palestinian so these images are not authentic.

  • do not be mistaken,YahShua is a jew,not palestinian.,you thought wrong farah!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @kidon80 During the time that Jesus lived, most Jews were Palestinians. BTW, Jew is not a nationality.

  • israel is the land of jew ,the land of judah !!!! it's said on the israely national anthem "ha tikvah" ....

palestinian (was known as filistine)is palistinian ,the jew is jew,....

    wanna know the diference?

KIng david= is a jew from the tribe of judah

    goliath= is a palestnian,

so it was ,that david killed goliath

palestinian was a beligerent to the kingdom of israel.

    they're not the same kind..

    GOT IT!!!!!!!!!

just trying to give you a simple way to understand the matter...

  • @kidon80 Jew is not a nationality, Judah was never a country.

  • @webdawah.when it says the land of the jew or the land of judah, that means is the land That HaShem gave it to jewish patriach from avraham to yitzak ,to yakoov(israel) .from the begining it was built, israel had already been a jewish country.the country which it people worship YHWH ELOHIM.

so,israel belongs to he decendent of yakoov(israel)which is jewish people.they dwell in the land of israel because HaShem Told Them to.

  • that was what the roman said to mock the jew, they tried to annihilate the fact that there was a state called israel in the land of the jew, this happened when the roman empire conquered israel..oh yes the filistine not palestinian by the time of YahShua had not existed anylonger, they extinct....the roman exchanged it with the name of filistine is to mock the jewsh people that israel was conquered and captivated .

  • @kidon80 You are not addressing my statement.

  • @kidon80 Jesus was a MIddle Eastern Prophet (like all the messengers of truth) he was a true Prohet and he called God 'Allaha' in Armaic and never professed to being GOD which is a sin. Have u never wondered by Mary & Joseph always look like Arabs in a nativity play?

  • @FarahMina

do you dare to say that Yeshua is a jew and born in israel?y'know instead of saying he was only an midle eastern person.dont try too fool us we know who Yeshua is!just like king david he is a jew from the tribe of judah...

and as quoted from yours above:"Have u never wondered by Mary & Joseph always look like Arabs in a nativity play? "

well ,its aplay,!!!!!when palestian do the play, jesus would look like yaser arab

when ,an african do the play jesus would look like mandela..LOL!!!

  • @FarahMina

if Yeshua used the name allah as god,he would have had said o allah o allah lama sabaktani.but look at the verse of mathew27:46"46 And about the ninth hour Jesus cried with a loud voice, saying, Eli, Eli, lama sabachthani? that is to say, My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me? "...it was clear he obviously avoided to use the word ""allah"" even though he might speak aramaic...and there were two witness there who associated the word eli to prophet elijah.

  • @FarahMina

the word for god of aramaic:1.AaLaH;2.AaLaHaA;3.AaLaHeA;4.AaLaHeH;5.AaLaHHuON ;6.B'aALaHaA (This lets Baal into God's name. This is a polution from Babylon where the Nestorians lived.)..you know what the witness in mat 27wouldn't have had thought it was prophet elijah if jesus cried o allah o allah why have you forsaken me??? ,they would think that jesus cried to syrian aramaic god for help!!!!,they're also already familiar with the word allah "the pagan god of babilonian".

  • @FarahMina

This also implies that Jesus never used the Aramaic name for God because it may have already been corrupted. the name of Allah derived from pagan forms staring at the Tower of Babel. This tower, and Sumer where the gods IL and ILAH evolved, were just up the road from Israel. So some primitive Allah form may have already been in use in Jesus' day. He rejected it and used the name EL or ELOHIM for the God of the Bible.

  • @FarahMina

The Muslims claim that the Western Aramaic text of the Peshitta, was corrupted and changed by Reformers to come in line with the King James principles or with Erasmus. This is an old saw. Whenever things don't agree between the Koran or Islamic myth, the Muslim scholars claim someone altered all the other texts than the ones they like. The cute thing is that the Peshitta and Aramaic did not come to Europe until at least the 18th century.

  • @FarahMina

verse1:. The Peshitta and the Aramaic were not used in the translation of the King James Bible. Only the Greek texts were used. God allowed the Muslim armies to attack Constantinople BEFORE the Aramaic Bible was accepted by the Greek Church. The Greek monks of Constantinople fled their churches with the Greek manuscripts they had from Antioch and the Eastern churches NOT polluted by Syrian pagan notions from Mesopotamia.

  • @FarahMina

verse2: Thus, the King James Bible was protected by God from pollution by the Aramaic texts. There must be some reason that the Aramaic text of the Bible does not please God.

  • @FarahMina

how about john 8 :58,before abraham was Hayah(I Am),the word Hayah is short from Hayah Esher Hayah, the verse abosolutely is showing that Yeshua admited to the public that He is Hayah or in other word He is Yahweh HimSelf and he deserves the worship.Amen o yes one more He is The Alpha And Omega too,He said it He is in the book of revelation(verses 1:8, 21:6, and 22:13).

  • People. Leave aside the religiousness of each and everyone of us, anyone can believe in whatever they want. Faith is just this, faith. But to believe doesn't mean you have to turn off your brain. Science and medicine have already proved that our brain tends to see (or have "visions") of things we already know. Like they proved the earths is round. It doesn't disprove your gods or beliefs, this only tells you that often people see what is not there,

You should need not to see anyway. Faith?

  • the common features don't make sense lolz I mean, jewish,......fair complexsion? :S nah man. Also the long hair, its pretty well accept in terms of what was fashionable in his time period that men did not have long hair

  • What were you trying to say again?

  • It may also be Because He is the 1 and only Resurected Christ. John 16-17Jesus saith unto her, Mary. She turned herself, and saith unto him, Rabboni; which is to say, Master.Jesus saith unto her, Touch me not; for I am not yet ascended to my Father: but go to my brethren, and say unto them, I ascend unto my Father, and your Father; and [to] my God, and your God. If i may be so bold pary to him 1 time he may just reveal himself to u. Peace unto you Brother.

  • I don't believe that Jesus appears to anyone. I don't think that one has to pray to him for his revelation, nor do I believe it is necessary that one sees him to get salvation. It's not important, and people only see things they had seen before in pictures.

  • To see him is not a mentioned way of salvation. Prayer and the reading of his word is. By these action u are seking him. Which would then manifest the Holy Spirit. The thirid part of the God Head. I am ofcorse not God. But that is not to say he didnt Appear to any1. Weather u believe or not who are we to say what the lord jesus can or can not do. We in our frigile form can bearly get a grip on the mortol world how can we unduerstand the supernatural. We have no understanding of the impossible

  • And,.... maybe you are wrong.

    Who knows?

You cannot crawl into the mind of another person so you will never know for sure, and it is pompous of you to assume that someone is seeing a reproduction of a picture. They may very well be seeing Him.

    YOU don't know.

  • The question is; if there was no prior visualization of the pictures, how do they know who they are seeing?

  • I firmly believe that when each person stands before the Lord you will know with every fiber of your being who He is. There will be no doubt and those who have refused Him throughout their lives will experience a terrifying feeling of shame and regret.

  • If Satan possesses so much influence om human kind, don't you think that his presence too would be awesome?

  • Absolutely! And he WILL lure and deceive many many many.... That is why it is imperative to read the bible in order to recognize Jesus when he returns. It won't be a physical recognition, but a we will know Him by the circumstances that are clearly laid out for us throughout the Bible. Unfortunately, so many have no idea what this return will look like...

  • How then, is one not to suspect that Satan had also been seen in dreams.

  • One should always be cautious, and yes, one could suspect that what they are seeing is meant to deceive. This is why prayer and connection to God is so important. We can pray (daily) for protection from the enemy and if we stand in that prayer it will be.

Again, what I am saying is that you will KNOW, even in your prayer, who it is, not by His looks, but by the feeling. You will know....

  • jesus was a jew stuped Jews are not white and the reason Jesus is seen and not Mohammad is Jesus is god and god is god appearing to them please dont kill me or blow up a school just because I said this

  • Please learn how to spell.

Proper nouns start with capital letters.

How does one know it was Jesus who appeared to him/her and not the devil in disguise?

  • dl moody spell The holy ghost 8 different way in one letter and he started moody institute

    Millions here him speck

I think your limited if you only know how to spell a word one way what are you a ideat

  • You have overstayed your welcome.

  • Why don't you inquire GOD personally & ask Him all inquiries that way you know the CREATOR HE is ALIVE..GOD knows all things here on Earth.

Forgive us those are just typo errors..we are not perfect.

  • Sir:I have EXPERIENCED THE PRESENCE OF GOD & AUDIBLY HEARD Him not only once soo many times personally. If you are Christian the Holy scriptures make a vivid picture of how others in the ancient times have visions/presence of GOD/others even was supernaturally transported to Heaven & EXPERIENCED.Our perspectives changed as soomn as we ourselves experienced supernaturally GOD.

  • Jesus is not a picture he is real. In the Bible it said God will pour out his spirit and people will have VISIONS. Repent for the Kingdom Of Heaven is at hand,

  • Jesus appears to us in vision and dreams as we have seen him in pictures and statues. He comes to us in these images because thats who we know as Jesus to be. God manifest his image to us. Because he is the true Almighty God.

  • Peter, James and John saw Elijah and Moses...all at the same time.

  • Any references?

  • Not even Jesus saw his own father no one knows what God looks like

  • When Saul of Tarsus (Apostle Paul) saw the risen Christ, no one had shown him any pretty Hollywood pictures of what Jesus looked like. He only saw such a brilliant light that he was blind for the next three days.

  • Yeah, and he answered "who are you lord?" Isn't that too convenient an answer? How does he know that what he saw was of God, why would he address this unknown entity as his lord?

  • Simply because Saul was a Jew and he didn't know Christ yet. He recognized the one who appeared to him as Lord but he didn't realize that Jesus is the Lord. This is the same thing I was speaking of above. When Jesus manifests himself there is no need for him to prove he is the Lord of all. It's obvious by the authority, glory and power that radiates from him. When he manifests himself it's not a question of whether or not he is Lord, what requires revelation is that Jesus is God made flesh.

  • My problem is with the question asked. If he was a Jew, he knew only one 'Lord.' Why then was he asking 'who?'

  • I can't presume to know what Saul was thinking. But I would guess he said that because he knew that this could only be the one true Lord speaking but at the same time he realized he was missing something. Something like : "Huh? I'm persecuting God? There must be something I'm missing." Saul didn't know that this Jesus he was persecuting was the Lord. Saul thought he was serving God by persecuting Christians and preventing Jesus' teachings from spreading.

  • One could also argue Saul was confused and in shock from the glory and power of this revelation. I remember when Christ visited me, I was really shaken to my very core. Such extravagant love and grace! And to think that what Saul experienced was much more glorious and powerful, I would understand how he might have been totally in awe.

  • I appreciate your effort in explaining what may have been going on there. I just think that if you know that you have only one son, and he's at the door knocking calling out your name, you would not be asking "who are you, son?"

If you are in awe, you would be speechless. Not necessarily asking who that was, and calling him 'lord' at the same time.

  • Yes, I see your point. What would your explanation for this bible passage be?

  • It is not my place to interpret Bible passages, I just ask questions about things that seem unlikely. I don't take everything in the Bible literally, some things are written to boost one's faith, not because they happened.

Check out my six part series; "Dubious Writings." I outlined a few of these there.

  • When Jesus appeared to me in August of 1996, he didn't look like a religious icon. I was awake. I was praying for divine guidance. What I saw was a figure of a man walking towards me. He was partially see-through and he was glowing with a very strong light. As he moved towards me, I felt his power becoming stronger. His presence felt like pure happiness, incredible peace and love, reassuring warmth. When he reached my side he briefly touched my right shoulder with his left hand. Then he vanished

  • Cool.

He did not introduce himself, so you assumed he was Jesus(pbuh)?

  • It was him I was praying and his coming was an answer to the very prayer I was saying. 'Lord Jesus, come and guide me, show me what you want from me". Then he came, and once he touched me my whole being became ablaze with love and joy and I knew it was him and he would guide me. And he did. When the living Christ reveals himself, no one can doubt it is him.

  • You prayed; 'Lord Jesus, come and guide me, show me what you want from me".

Why is this necessary if you have the Bible? Was what he guided you to different from what's in the Bible? According to the Bible, is guidance the duty of Jesus(pbuh) or that of the holy spirit?

  • The Bible teaches that God can also guide us in specific areas of our lives. I was seeking Jesus' guidance for an important life-changing decision and I really wanted to do his will. After that visitation, the Lord did several supernatural things to show me what he wanted me to do with my life. Jesus sometimes appears to people when he calls them into the ministry of the Gospel. To this day I can truely say the same presence I experienced on that day dwells inside my heart.

  • Can you show me that teaching from the Bible?

  • Just two quick examples. Psalm 91 talks about blesings for those woh take refuge in God. It says "Because he loves me," says the LORD, "I will rescue him; I will protect him, for he acknowledges my name. HE WILL CALL UPON ME AND I WILL ANSWER HIM; I will be with him in trouble, I will deliver him and honor him." James 1 : 5 says "If any of you lacks wisdom, he should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to him."

  • Another example : In John 14:21 Jesus says : "Whoever has my commands and obeys them, he is the one who loves me. He who loves me will be loved by my Father, and I too will love him and SHOW myself to him."

  • By taking this literally, it means that those to whom Jesus(pbuh) has not appeared do not love him?

  • Yes. That's right. Although not simply "appearing". Be there are different ways in which Jesus can show himself to those who love him. The Greek verb for "to show" here means "to manifest" and to "make known". In John's gospel, the concept of "knowing" is not simply intellectual, it speaks of an intimate relationship through the God's holy and loving presence. This presence of God is what the bible calls the Holy Spirit. There is only one God and God is one. But he manifests himself differently.

  • So, when it was written that Jesus(pbuh) said he would have to go away before the holy spirit could come, that is not always true? People should be seeing the holy spirit and not Jesus(pbuh) if at all.

  • Jesus appeared even after going away. He showed himself for 40 days to his disciples, then he was taken up into heaven. 10 days later, the Holy Spirit was given. Saul - who was persecuting the church intensely - saw Jesus several years after this (more or less 7). The work of the Holy Spirit is to convict people of their sin, of God's justice and coming judgment. He draws people to Christ and gives them eternal life. Eternal life is nothing else than having God's life united to our own.

  • The Holy Spirit also leads us into the whole truth. He helps us understand God's Word and he reveals Christ to us. Christ - in his humble earthly state - could not be all over the world at the same time. Through the Spirit, he now can. But this does not mean that Christ cannot manifest himself once the Spirit is given. God is one. The Father, the Son and the Spirit are one and the same God, revealed in 3 different ways. They are three eternal and true manifestations of the one true God.

  • God is one and his eternal word / wisdom is what Christians call the Son. God has only one Spirit / Breath, we call God's Spirit the Holy Spirit. God reveals himself through his Word and through his Spirit. They are two revelations and manifestations of the same God. The Word became flesh, and was given the name Jesus. So we understand that where the Spirit is, there is the Father and the Son. Because God is one. Sometimes, the Holy Spirit is called the Spirit of God or even the Spirit of Jesus.

  • Can God the father also manifest Himself? Has any Christian ever seen God the father?

  • No. The Father - e.i. the unmanifested one God who is the origin of all - cannot be seen. Some cult leaders have claimed the contrary though, but this is in contradiction with Catholic, Protestant and Orthodox doctrine. The bible clearly teaches none has ever seen God in his unmanifested eternal glorious form we call the Father.

1 Timothy 6:16 says (speaking of God) : "who alone is immortal and who lives in unapproachable light, whom no one has seen or can see."

  • John 1:18 "No one has ever seen God, but God the One and Only, who is at the Father's side, has made him known."

John 6:46 "No one has seen the Father except the one who is from God; only he has seen the Father."

  • For Christians, when God manifests himself, it is either through his Breath (Spirit) or through his Word (Son). Many mistakes come from the fact the vast majority of Christians don't understand what we call the trinity. They think God is three different entities somehow fused into one. Like some kind of three-headed being. For us, the one and only God reveals himself only through his Word and His Spirit. When the Word took on human nature, the man Jesus started referring to God as his Father.

  • So that's where we Christians got the idea of Father and Son from, whereas we used to speak of God and his Word before Jesus came.

  • The bible also says the "Lord is the Spirit" and elsewhere "God is Spirit". So - to answer your question and I'm sorry for taking so long to do so - while Jesus walked the Earth, the Holy spirit was already at work but for the most part, people saw and knew Jesus. And now, the Spirit has taken the predominant role among us, but Jesus can still reveal himself if he so chooses. It's the same God, the way he reveals himself changes depending on his purpose and sovereign will.
