I have one of those balls :D I my piggies weren't that interested in it so I filled it with treats and now they case it round the cage trying to get out the treats :D xx
Lol thats soo cute lol my guinea pig (he is now dead) is soo lazy i put him on a leash (the ones desgined for guinea pigs) he just sat there same when i take him out of his cage! But when he was lil and every once in a while he would run around his cage then go through his lil tube! And when he was lil he would run around a lil in the grass when we would try to pick him up!!
i have noticed that long haired guinea pigs [typically silkies and peruvians] are usually smarter and more clever than others. mine opens her door, plays with the ball, goes to her little shishkabob, the other one sits there and squeaks over nothing like a sillyhead(:
Man.... I bow to your talent. I had guinea pigs for 10 years and although we did get them to do some adorable stuff, Ive never seen one play fetch before... Thank you... Im gonna be laughing for a long, long, LONG time =)
Thank you for you interest in Henry and his tricks.
Henry learns to associate an action with getting treats very quickly.
He learnt that if he nudged his ball with his nose, he got a treat.
I then stopped giving him the treats until he got the ball back to me. I think he did this first to get my attention. Then he learned that that was the way to get his treat.
