  • fishbone and 24/7 spyz most under rated bands form 80's/90's !!!!

  • Fuck "Imagine" this one is ACTION !

  • change yes

  • I have all FISHBONE they are the masters they blow away so many bands Its a trip The blow away THE RED HOT CHILIS Thes guys are the shit They sing from the soul and I hope they ROCK ON FOREVER

  • Fishbone wrote their best music when Chris and Kendall were in the band. Angelo and Walt have great voices but Chris added a completely different dimension.

  • Fishbone is one of my favorite live bands of all time!

  • Anyone interested in hearing new music from ex-Fishbone member Chris Dowd's new project The Ultra Infidels, type "The Ultra Infidels" and "Stop!" into youtube...

  • Fishbone had it all - they were as popular as anyone. They just couldn't keep it together. Since they walked that line, they often crossed it - that scared away the 90's.

One of the best evar. FishBOOONE!

  • It pisses me off that Fishbone has never really received all of the credit I feel they deserve. I think it's time they were inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame. They've always been one of my favorite live bands.

  • good one. Was bummed when he split... he really put something into this band you just can't replace without... change...

  • One of my favorite Fishbone songs they threw down the guanlet on "TAS"

  • they need chris back in the band.his element is sorely missing.

  • One of the best songs ever written. Totally knocked me down when I 1st heard it. Great Work Chris.

  • I'm surprised some politician hasn't used this song yet.

  • How odd that I was in the mood for some Fishbone and back in the day didn't have a clue that there was a dude with the same last name of Dowd in that band until now. How odd.... No relation probably or unless he's some how a part Irish, cause that's an Irish last name. Rock on Dowds, or O'Dowds, yeah that includes Boy George.

  • does anyone know what the chord progression is on this song, have any good ideas?

  • @wcscargo If you still care...the verses are variants of A, D and G (in that order) and the chorus is C, D and A (again, in that order).

I'm sure you can find the exact chords online though. Also...use a 12 string!

  • I love this song-It brings tears to my eyes.How I long for the same,never to lose my Love,The one I want,the one I love,so much,but lest he changed,he no longer feels love.My love is eternal ~Christy

  • Beautiful song, this song is too sincere to be involved in us politics, This song isnt an empty theme used to deceive people, this song is real and heart felt.

  • Truth and Soul has given me hope in times of doubt,I always come back to this album!!!

  • Excellent work! Mr. Dowd would be proud. Peace.

  • Truth & Soul has to be one of the best albums ever made. Love it!

  • Love it

  • Great songwriting from this band.

  • Truth and Soul is one of the best albums ever!!

  • it damn well is.

  • This was the best FB lineup. For Real. Their lineup now is great but this was by far the best one.

  • One of my favorites! It's a good thing this song didn't make it to the mainstream, if it did, the thrill of listening to this song will be gone.

  • @blindfatih Well said. I totally agree. One of my favorite songs....ever

  • one of the best songs

  • Great Deep Song ! very nicely done ..thks

  • I dont know how this song can be that underrated.. if people give a listen to this ... -.-

this is on my top 10 favourites songs :D (and thats TOO difficult to be)

  • One of my fave song of all time!!!

  • Best band and best song ever apart from, sunless saturday, lemon meringue pie, bonin, etc. etc. etc......

  • I wish I could have gotten to see them back in the 90's. Don't get me wrong, I think they are great now. But I miss Chris, Kendall, Fish and Walt. They were also a big part of Fishbone.

  • I was at a show last year and I saw Change on the setlist. I was excited to hear it. It was actually "Changes" the Tu Pac song..cool..but...

  • wish u could have as well man. i think i saw these guys in the 90's 4 times. angelo would get in the pit with us all. like u said, they still bring it, but that was a very special period in time. i also got to see 24/7 spyz, bad brains, living colour, so on and so forth. almost all these guys are still doin it! see em while u can man.

  • I saw Fishbone on the second stop of the "Truth & Soul" Tour. To start the encore, Chris came out alone and sang Change. Great Show. Still haven't seen a band better live than Fishbone in their prime.

  • Christ, I love them!

  • great job on the vid for a beautiful song.

  • Great song. The little guitar riff at the end is very good.

  • This is one of their best songs. If CBS/Sony knew how to market them right, this should have been released as a single, and it probably would have been a top 10 hit at least....

  • God bless Fishbone. Still great but ever more diluted with the loss of each individual original member (and Bigham). 25 years next year, would love to see the old line up reform. FISHBONE!!

  • Saw these guys @ the Moore Theater in Seattle in 1991... What a Show!!!!!

  • truth and soul man!

  • For me its just always :"Change" was the nicer song on the album, and I eventually fell inlove with it!

  • good edit. i remember diving around my kitchen to this band in the eighties. Enjoyable nostalgia, thanks

  • Nice job. I'm not an Obama fan, and did not vote for him, but I have always loved this song, and what it stands for.

    All the best.

    God bless America.

  • i thought this should have been obama's campaign song as well.

  • Dear zapwatt or is it twatpaz? Your lifes not worth considering you streak of piss. You should have got that tatoo, but instead of Cheap Trick it should have read CHEAP PRICK.

  • One of my favorite Fishbone songs!! I miss Chris' writing and singing. Angelo is still holding it down, though.

  • Why cover up your tattoo?

Get a Chili Peppers one now because they are much more fashionable than FISHBONE now. God forbid. You tastless American. I hope your cover up scars.

  • Now hold on a second. She didn't say anything about covering up the tat because of Chillis or fashion. People change. When I was 20 I wanted to get a giant Cheap Trick tat across my back and I still love CT but I am glad I don't have their tattoo. Please step off of the righteous soapbox and consider someone else's life.

  • Dear zapwatt or is it twatpaz? Your lifes not worth considering you streak of piss. You should have got that tatoo but instead of Cheap Trick it should have read CHEAP PRICK.

  • OK so your mum should've let you get that Milli Vanilli tattoo right? You'd feel great now if you had "I Heart Rob & Fab" inked on your neck.

  • My Mam would kick your arse, she's 86 and just keeps alive to bitch slap wanker toss pots like you off of their "righteous soapboxes". Were still laughing now., Cheap Trick,We've told you, drop the T and replace it with P.

  • I can't believe some 20 years later I still remember this word for word. Just had my fishbone tattoo covered up. Hmmmm. I was always "Ami from Colorado". A fishbone groupie when they toured with Red Hot Chili Peppers. WHAT FUN!!! I wonder if Chris remembers jumping on my car after the show when I was driving away???

  • Wow, what a great song with great character.
