I have a CW9 and it is not loose at all like that. Sorry for your trouble. I have read in the past on a forum that Kahr does not have the best customer service. This is coming from a forum though.
@MrKnifeguy25 I have heard mixed results about their customer service. From my sxperience it has not been positive but others have been treated well. Thanks for watching.
i sold my ruger lcp because it was a bitch to shoot but ill tell you it was so damn reliable through 500 rounds..never burped on me once...270 dollar gun.good buy.but it seems that theres issues with most of these little 380 pistols.not sure if its because theres minimum room to work right with that size bullet..could be the sase partly.my friends keltec p32 has also been reliable.
As far as the customer service guy not being apologetic enough I think he probably deals with issues all day long eight hours a day. It would be terribly emoitionally draining if he had to wear a hair shirt with each and every customer. Saying sorry over and over again. I'm sure he just wants to get things handled as professionally as possible with each call and get on to the next one. What is important is that they fix it and it costs you nothing in the way of shipping etc.
@wolfinside I did not necessarily want the CS rep to apologize as much as I wanted him to be helpful/enthusiastic about helping me with the issues. This is especially important IMO when I call back a second time after having the same issues after Kahr supposedly fixed the problem. I have worked in a CS setting before and I can say from experience that he did not provide horrible service but if I was his superior and I found out how he handled the situation.... he would not get a high review.
@wolfinside Like you mentioned the issue was resolved and it did not cost me anything - However, for the price of the firearm in question I would expect nothing less. The issue could have and should have been resolved with less effort on my part and a higher quality of service on Kahrs end. There are many other firearms manufactures who do a lot more for firearms that cost half of what I payed for the P380.
I've seen a few Kahrs in my time, but I have NEVER seen a slide plate doing that. And if the stuff inside is moving as well, that cannot be a good thing. I hope they take note of that when they look at it again.
@wolfinside I mentioned that twice on the phone and in writing and they took no action on the issue. I will be calling them back to try to resolve the issue.
@austinguy23 I checked the serial number of my P380 against the ones that Kahr reported having problems with and it did not match. It is also a newer serial number so it was produced within the last year or so. To me that means that Kahr is still having issues with the P380 even after several years of production.

@kire33g I have a new serial number because they replaced the frame but they kept the same slide that I had before. They said my frame was cracked and that was causing all of the problems. I really wish they had just replaced the whole gun but we will see how it works when I get it back. They just sent it out yesterday so I probably wont get it until early next week.
My CW45 Is at the factory now for the second time as well and Jay is also the one who took care of through my dealer return. I am in the same boat as you. You should check out Kahrtalk.com a forum for Kahr owners and Trust me you are not the only one with this issue.
@kire33g Yea I checked out Kahrtalk a while back. I am sorry to hear about your CW45 and I hope they resolve the issue. My P380 just got shipped back to my FFL because they replaced the frame this time. Thanks for watching.
i'm so glad you made the video of that phone call. that slide plating moving around, normal? I DON'T THINK SO! i've never had an issue like that on any pistol i've ever owned. & the fact that it's moving internal parts, not cool. they need to make this right at their expense or completely replace the gun or refund your money. paying for shipping the first time is fine, but when the problem persists it's time for them to take the hit on s/h charges. hope things work out in your favor.
I checked the back plate on both my P380 and my CW9, they wiggle a little but no where near as much as yours and I have 3000 rounds through the 380 and 2500 through the 9mm with no trouble at all. Good luck.

I live 20 min away from the factory, I'll go to them for you and tell them to give you a brand new 380 !! :p. Nice video though, thanks. Its good to know how they are.
@grandillusion52 Kahrs CS is located in the US but it is still horrible. I had to call Microsoft/Xbox CS two weeks ago and I am still angry about that one! Thanks for watching.
Took my Kahr pm40 to the range I have put about 300 rounds total through it and it destroyed the magazine follower lip. Other than that the gun functions perfectly, but at $45 for a mag it could get real expensive really fast.
Man, that is extremely upsetting. I am surprised how poor the cs rep's assistance was. I was not expecting his answer for the slide plate at all! I would not have known how to respond to his answer. Seems quite odd. I would definitely include it in the report when you send it in to Kahr. Wish you best of luck this time around! Thanks for sharing your experience so far, Keelen!
@bigbubba5037 Yea I felt the same way. When he said the slide plate movement was normal I honestly didn't know how to respond. In my mind I was thinking "Bullsh**" but I was so dumbfounded by his answer I couldn't say anything. I included it as part of the write up so hopefully it will be fixed when I get it back. Thanks for your support Christian and I appreciate you watching!
Oh man, that sucks... Customer service is a must! now I am a little bit concerned about getting a Kahr... thanks for sharing I just bought a g27 gen4 I love it. BTW Ihave the same ringtone as you, I was confused for a moment lol
@paperas24 Great choice with the G27. I have one myself and I love it. Kahrs CS is not the best but we will see how everything turns out once I get the P380 back. Thanks for watching.
Keelen...I disappointed for you, but unfortunately, not all that surprised. I've owned my PM9 for about 2 years now -- without and major issues. However, I have had occasion to call Kahr a couple of times with questions, and I have found them to be less than helpful. I hung up the phone with the impression that I was wasting their "valuable" time. I hope Kahr watches your P380 vids and reads the comments. Maybe it will WAKE THEM UP! Stay on 'em!! Your hard work is helping all Kahr owners
thanks for sharing your experience. I hope they fix it right for you this time :/ although that customer service rep sure did a bad job of instilling confidence about their ability to fix it. And when he said "That's perfectly normal," I thought wow, he is just pulling that out of his @#*%&. Perfectly normal? I doubt it. Good luck with them! Sorry to hear about your troubles.
@faliaphotography Yea I thought the same thing about the cs rep. I regret not challenging the cs guy on his answer to the slide plate issue. When he responded I was more dumbfounded by his response than anything else so I didn't know how to respond. I appreciate you stopping by. Thanks for watching Falia!
I think thats rather odd. I had to send my k9 in a few years ago because of a a slide lock issue and no only did they pay for shipping they offered to install night sights on it for free.
@dragonballjiujitsu WOW! I wish I talked to the same guy that you talked to! I have been met with nothing but resistance from Kahr. Thanks for watching.
you are completely right about the customer rep's aditude. i would without a doubt want my money back at that point. im really suprised how cool you stayed through the ordeal.
@chicwboost It takes a lot for me to get upset! I am more disappointed than I am angry/upset with Kahr and their customer service. Thanks so much for watching.
It's not appropriate when they act like they are doing you a favour by sending out a shipping label. That customer service bloke needs some training. Especially in the politeness department. Good luck man
@danebow240 I have a CW9 and I am very happy with it. Kahr only has issues with their P380 but do keep in mind their customer service is sub par. Thanks for watching.
Man this sucks your going through this. About your back plate, I've never seen a Kahr with any play like that. Granted I've never messed with the P380. I would note that you do have a CW9 and tell them that it doesn't have any play in it. I hope you have better luck with this gun when you get it back.
Groan. Thanks for seeing this saga through and keeping us informed through your videos.
I hate to say it, but I fear Kahr is going to hit you at some point with the argument that you shouldn't expect reliability until AFTER the 200 rd "break-in" period -- and that the break-in period was "reset" when they sent the pistol back to you the first time after working on it.
("So sink ANOTHER $70 of ammo into that thing and get back to us")
@classof77 I have the same fear. I was very surprised that I wasn't told that this past time but I guess they didn't really pay that much attention. I dont mind paying $70 to buy ammo if I want to go shoot a gun that I know works but to spend that much money only to find out that it still has a problem... thats what bugs me. Thanks for watching man.
@Solareffects I have a SR9c, Glock 19, Glock 27 and Kahr CW9... all of which preform perfectly but I want a .380. Kahrs are not POS firearms but the P380 itself is not looking too good. I am very happy with my CW9 and it is my current carry firearm. Thanks for watching.
@Grubkat Yea good idea. There have been several people who watched this video and have confirmed what I thought. YT is a great tool!! Thanks for watching.
@edgedweapon88 There is a wealth of information within this community. I have faith that you will get it sorted. Personally. If I support a company with my hard earned money. They had better come correct. If not. Then they no longer have my monetary or verbal support. If Kahr knew how many folks watch your channel, they might rethink their response. Point being. I have looked at both Kahr and Kel Tec sub compacts. I won't ever buy either.
@Grubkat I completely agree. Typically I would have traded another firearm off by now but at this point I want to see what it takes to get Kahr to straighten everything out. It is more of a science project than anything else at this point!!
Thanks for Sharing man. This will help alot of people on there decision on purchasing a kahr .380. My opinion on the issues and the customer service is not impressive. Kahr should of sent you a shipping label the second time for sure. Also they don't seem to be very helpful at all. I mean you put 300 rds thru this gun and 380 ammo is not cheap. Plus you paid for shipping? You already invested an extra $100 dollars into a firearm thats a lemon. When they you another repaired kahr I will sell it.
@shootcentermass I am a Glock guy also(I have 3) but that doesnt mean that I dont like other pistols also. I have had nothing but a great experience with my CW9 so hopefully Kahr can fix the problems.
@mspissuoff That is the least constructive comment I have seen on this video. I am glad that your Keltec is working but I would never bash a gun that I haven't personally owned or shot. You might want to think about that next time before you make a comment like you did.
@shummyshum Even though I would like to do that I would hate to be the person on the other end who ends up purchasing a non functioning pistol. Therefore I wont trade/sell it until it is working properly.
"We don't normally do that, but ok." -- That's why you guys will never be a major firearms manufacturer, Kahr. I can *somewhat* understand that being a response the first time you called this in. But the 2nd time -- totally unacceptable. They should be offering to replace the gun at this point -- all on their dime. Kahr will never get a dime from me. If you have not already, direct Kahr to this video and MrCleanerNash's vid. We need to wake these idiots up.
@MrJimbofox If I get it back and it is still not working.... Then the glove are coming off. I have tried to be as kind and respectful up to this point but Kahr is really pushing their luck. Thanks for watching Jimbo.
@Hiluxtaco Even though I would like to do that I would hate to be the person on the other end who ends up purchasing a non functioning pistol. Therefore I wont trade/sell it until it is working properly.
At this point I'd be demanding they replaced it! They obviously did a rush job on it in the first place & the problems weren't solved! Sounds like a lemon of a pistol that I wouldn't even want my ex wife to carry! And I really don't like her lol!
@Creepinevil Yes they obviously did not take their time with it the first time I sent it in. Im hopeful that they can resolve the issues but if not they will be getting another lovely call from me. Thanks for watching.
Listen: I would think that after the first time you were not satisfied it was time to move on, for what ever reason your looking for a company that isn't there but want so badly for them to handle your case in a way that they just don't...why continue to hurt yourself...is this the end mmm who knows but at this point I would look for other options and trade in snag move on.....if I were you that is....i would be ruining to my dealer!!!!!!
@thenowandaway It is all about the principle of the whole thing. I am not going to give in and let Kahr get away with the poor customer service and poor repair work. If I do it does not do anything to help the situation for people later on down the line. I also bought it online and running to my dealer is not an option.
@edgedweapon88 I appreciate your crusade, bit sounds like a lost cause..that's why I think its important to support your local family owned gum store....best wishes, and good luck.
@JoeDurobot If it is not fixed after this trip I will be demanding that they replace it. I am not sure if they can refund me because I did not buy it directly from Kahr.
The back plate should not be moving period. I believe that covers the striker and striker spring. Could be a hazard, report without hesitating. My heart goes out in dealing with kahr customer service. Took me 4 months to get a set of grips. When I did get them, they sent me 3 sets...and charged me for 4 sets. Refund took over a month, and they charged me 20 percent restock. Good luck
@MrMitchblack I am sorry to hear about your grip issues. I guess that just adds more fuel to the fire on how bad Kahr customer service is. Thank you for sharing your experience and for the information.
My P380 slide plate is rock solid bro...the customer service rep doesnt have a clue what he's talking about. I think your right they only have 1 guy in that dept...LOL! The shipping issue is simply obsurd. I might have stressed that the gun is simply a "lemon" considering all the work Kahr had done on it and still many failures. Also how it was possible they cleared this firearm to be returned? Its obvious they shot very limited rounds through it and not thoroughly tested. Good luck man!
@MrCleanerNash Thanks for the information man. I thought I was going crazy when the CS rep said that movement was normal... When he said that I was almost dumbfounded I couldn't come back with a response. I doubt they put more than 2 rounds through the gun to see if it worked properly. If I get it back and it still doesn't work the gloves are coming off!! Thanks so much for your support and I appreciate you watching.
@VinnyS914 Even though I would like to do that I would hate to be the person on the other end who ends up purchasing a non functioning pistol. Therefore I wont trade/sell it until it is working properly.
@edgedweapon88 True but if it gets to the extreme you can just have it destroyed. Obviously that's an ABSOLUTE last resort. Eww I just sounded like a Brady Campaigner
My $250 kel tec has never had an issues EVER ! I would sell it with a quickness I had a Kahr cw9 and it was great no issues just a wack trigger . Thanks for the video
@chavezchavez556 Even though I would like to do that I would hate to be the person on the other end who ends up purchasing a non functioning pistol. Therefore I wont trade/sell it until it is working properly. I have a CW9 also and it works great.
@mspissuof- dude you obviously know very little about firearms. Every company has errors in the manufacturing process ( espically keltec) kahr arms is a high end american gun company and they make some of the best handguns in the industry. So calling his gun a piece of crap isn't helpful to his situation.. Maybe you should think about that next time you make a stupid comment
@UEGPrivateShade I have a Kahr CW9 which fills the subcompact 9mm slot just like your PF-9 does. I want a .380 for times I dont want to carry a larger gun.
@tyronebiggums3 I only used Federal the second time but the first time I used Federal, American Eagle, and Speer Gold Dot. All of them had issues including Gold Dot.
@celsorod Three words: I HAVE one.(Actually 3) but that does not relinquish the fact that the P380 is still not working right. Moving on to another manufacture does not solve the issue that I have right now.
@edgedweapon88 That's why it was half expected. I almost thought that you would have channeled your fury and summoned the ammunition to do so through some ancient power.
Try this. Burn a copy of this vid and send it to Kahr with a note. I'm going to post this all over you tube until I get some satisfaction. Get on the phone & ask to speak to a supervisor. Then ask that supervisor what HIS supervisors name is. The ask the next higher up supervisor what HIS supervisors name is. Botton line Kahr is going to make someone get off their nuts and do something about it. I've done this many times with diff companies & so far it has worked. Worth a try. Good luck Kelan.
Sorry that you're experiencing poor customer service and a gun that isn't %100... That's BS! I can understand you frustrations... It's too bad that Kahr isn't providing you world class customer service. I will think twice now on that PM9 that I have been eye ballin. Thanks for the vids and good luck bro.
@SD4FunOD Kahr really has only had trouble with their little P380. My PM9 and edgeweapon88's CW9 have had no malfunctions and many rounds put thru them. Like I said, I've never heard of any having trouble with any of their firearms except the small 380.
@SD4FunOD I have heard very good things about the PM9 and I have had no issues with my CW9. Kahr has just had troubles with the P380. I was hoping I wouldn't get one of the bad ones. There customer service is sub part but the majority of their firearms a top notch. Thanks for watching man.
I think your going to get burned. The saying shame on em once, shame on you twice applies here. Give them a chance to fix it and let it go. Try the S&W bodyguard or the ruger lcp, tried both and while different both had many positives.
@1IdeaAhead I have handled the bodyguard and I have shot the LCP. I dont like either of them. If the Kahr does not work I will end up getting the Sig P238. Thanks for watching.
i would go to you're local gun shop and check out another kahr and see if it does the same thing. I've never seen the plate move like that on any of my firearms.... sweet droid x
@matt4023 Many people have already confirmed that their P380s dont have the slide plate movement that mine does. Hopefully Kahr will fix it this time.
@grizzlyglock1 Many people have already confirmed that their P380s dont have movement like mine does. I hope Kahr fixes the issue this time. Thanks for watching.
when u send it in ask if they can shoot a min of 50 or 100 rounds to confirm ok before sending it back ...if thats an option you would like to try..Hate your having so much trouble I don't own a kahr at this point in time but anyway goodluck
I dont know much much about guns, but my advice would be to ask the customer service representative to see if they can remove the play from the slide plate even if it is normal. Also keep stressing to them that it is your second time sending it back. Good luck and I hope they fix the problem soon.
Slide plate on my P380 is solidly in place, there is no play at all like your. I would say that the CS rep is bullshitting/ doesn't know what he is talking about. Hopefully they get it worked out for you.
@mossy500camo Kahr says their firearms require a 200 round break in period but in my opinion that is BS. None of my other firearms have required a break in period... even my Kimber which is the tightest fitting firearm I own.
I have a CW9 and it is not loose at all like that. Sorry for your trouble. I have read in the past on a forum that Kahr does not have the best customer service. This is coming from a forum though.

Oh man, that sucks... Customer service is a must! now I am a little bit concerned about getting a Kahr... thanks for sharing I just bought a g27 gen4 I love it. BTW Ihave the same ringtone as you, I was confused for a moment lol
paperas24 9 months ago
@paperas24 Great choice with the G27. I have one myself and I love it. Kahrs CS is not the best but we will see how everything turns out once I get the P380 back. Thanks for watching.

I am really hoping for a good outcome! Positive thoughts. Thanks for sharing.

edgedweapon88 9 months ago
Keelen...I disappointed for you, but unfortunately, not all that surprised. I've owned my PM9 for about 2 years now -- without and major issues. However, I have had occasion to call Kahr a couple of times with questions, and I have found them to be less than helpful. I hung up the phone with the impression that I was wasting their "valuable" time. I hope Kahr watches your P380 vids and reads the comments. Maybe it will WAKE THEM UP! Stay on 'em!! Your hard work is helping all Kahr owners

@BrewByU I really appreciate your support. I will continue to keep everyone updated as the process continues. Thanks for watching.
edgedweapon88 9 months ago
thanks for sharing your experience. Sorry to hear about your troubles.
faliaphotography 9 months ago
@faliaphotography Yea I thought the same thing about the cs rep. I regret not challenging the cs guy on his answer to the slide plate issue. When he responded I was more dumbfounded by his response than anything else so I didn't know how to respond. I appreciate you stopping by. Thanks for watching Falia!
edgedweapon88 9 months ago
@edgedweapon88
I probably wouldn't have challenged him either, as I was also dumbfounded by his response. :/
faliaphotography 9 months ago
I think thats rather odd. I had to send my k9 in a few years ago because of a a slide lock issue and no only did they pay for shipping they offered to install night sights on it for free.
dragonballjiujitsu 9 months ago
@dragonballjiujitsu WOW! I wish I talked to the same guy that you talked to! I have been met with nothing but resistance from Kahr. Thanks for watching.
edgedweapon88 9 months ago
you are completely right about the customer rep's aditude. i would without a doubt want my money back at that point. im really suprised how cool you stayed through the ordeal.
chicwboost 9 months ago
@chicwboost It takes a lot for me to get upset! I am more disappointed than I am angry/upset with Kahr and their customer service. Thanks so much for watching.
edgedweapon88 9 months ago
It's not appropriate when they act like they are doing you a favour by sending out a shipping label. That customer service bloke needs some training. Especially in the politeness department. Good luck man

I was contemplating getting a kahr cm9 but after these videos I had decided to look for something else. Great vids!
danebow240 9 months ago
@danebow240 I have a CW9 and I am very happy with it. Kahr only has issues with their P380 but do keep in mind their customer service is sub par. Thanks for watching.
edgedweapon88 9 months ago
Man this sucks your going through this. About your back plate, I've never seen a Kahr with any play like that. Granted I've never messed with the P380. I would note that you do have a CW9 and tell them that it doesn't have any play in it. I hope you have better luck with this gun when you get it back.
Jacktheripper2829 9 months ago
@Jacktheripper2829 Thanks man. I appreciate all of your help.

UsaKnives 9 months ago
@UsaKnives If it does not get fixed this time I might have to try that route. Thanks for watching.
edgedweapon88 9 months ago
("So sink ANOTHER $70 of ammo into that thing and get back to us")
I'll keep on watching.
classof77 9 months ago
@classof77 I have the same fear. I was very surprised that I wasn't told that this past time but I guess they didn't really pay that much attention. I dont mind paying $70 to buy ammo if I want to go shoot a gun that I know works but to spend that much money only to find out that it still has a problem... thats what bugs me. Thanks for watching man.
edgedweapon88 9 months ago
@Solareffects I have a SR9c, Glock 19, Glock 27 and Kahr CW9... all of which preform perfectly but I want a .380. Kahrs are not POS firearms but the P380 itself is not looking too good. I am very happy with my CW9 and it is my current carry firearm. Thanks for watching.
edgedweapon88 9 months ago
I would include the slide plate issue. If you can go to a local shop and compare? That might shed some light as well.
Grubkat 9 months ago
@Grubkat Yea good idea. There have been several people who watched this video and have confirmed what I thought. YT is a great tool!! Thanks for watching.
edgedweapon88 9 months ago
@edgedweapon88 There is a wealth of information within this community. I have faith that you will get it sorted. Personally. If I support a company with my hard earned money. They had better come correct. If not. Then they no longer have my monetary or verbal support. If Kahr knew how many folks watch your channel, they might rethink their response. Point being. I have looked at both Kahr and Kel Tec sub compacts. I won't ever buy either.
Grubkat 9 months ago
@Grubkat I completely agree. Typically I would have traded another firearm off by now but at this point I want to see what it takes to get Kahr to straighten everything out. It is more of a science project than anything else at this point!!
edgedweapon88 9 months ago
Thanks for Sharing man. This will help alot of people on there decision on purchasing a kahr .380. My opinion on the issues and the customer service is not impressive. Kahr should of sent you a shipping label the second time for sure. Also they don't seem to be very helpful at all. I mean you put 300 rds thru this gun and 380 ammo is not cheap. Plus you paid for shipping? You already invested an extra $100 dollars into a firearm thats a lemon. When they you another repaired kahr I will sell it.

edgedweapon88 9 months ago
@shootcentermass I am a Glock guy also(I have 3) but that doesnt mean that I dont like other pistols also. I have had nothing but a great experience with my CW9 so hopefully Kahr can fix the problems.
edgedweapon88 9 months ago
@shootcentermass I agree man. Let hope they correct the issue this time. Thanks for watching.
edgedweapon88 9 months ago
@mspissuoff That is the least constructive comment I have seen on this video. I am glad that your Keltec is working but I would never bash a gun that I haven't personally owned or shot. You might want to think about that next time before you make a comment like you did.
edgedweapon88 9 months ago
if it's not fixed this time, sell it and buy something else.
shummyshum 9 months ago
@shummyshum Even though I would like to do that I would hate to be the person on the other end who ends up purchasing a non functioning pistol. Therefore I wont trade/sell it until it is working properly.
edgedweapon88 9 months ago
"We don't normally do that, but ok." -- That's why you guys will never be a major firearms manufacturer, Kahr. I can *somewhat* understand that being a response the first time you called this in. But the 2nd time -- totally unacceptable. They should be offering to replace the gun at this point -- all on their dime. Kahr will never get a dime from me. If you have not already, direct Kahr to this video and MrCleanerNash's vid. We need to wake these idiots up.
MrJimbofox 9 months ago 2
@MrJimbofox If I get it back and it is still not working.... Then the glove are coming off. I have tried to be as kind and respectful up to this point but Kahr is really pushing their luck. Thanks for watching Jimbo.

slide plate should be solid as in any other gun.
I've checked mine and they are all rock solid.
So I would defenitly mention that in the letter and would also say that if not fixed now it will be replaced by something that will work.
Talking about bad service =((

At this point I'd be demanding they replaced it! They obviously did a rush job on it in the first place & the problems weren't solved! Sounds like a lemon of a pistol that I wouldn't even want my ex wife to carry! And I really don't like her lol!
Creepinevil 9 months ago
@Creepinevil Yes they obviously did not take their time with it the first time I sent it in. Im hopeful that they can resolve the issues but if not they will be getting another lovely call from me. Thanks for watching.

MrCleanerNash 9 months ago
Listen: I would think that after the first time you were not satisfied it was time to move on, for what ever reason your looking for a company that isn't there but want so badly for them to handle your case in a way that they just don't...why continue to hurt yourself...is this the end mmm who knows but at this point I would look for other options and trade in snag move on.....if I were you that is....i would be ruining to my dealer!!!!!!
thenowandaway 9 months ago
@thenowandaway It is all about the principle of the whole thing. I am not going to give in and let Kahr get away with the poor customer service and poor repair work. If I do it does not do anything to help the situation for people later on down the line. I also bought it online and running to my dealer is not an option.
edgedweapon88 9 months ago
@edgedweapon88 I appreciate your crusade, bit sounds like a lost cause..that's why I think its important to support your local family owned gum store....best wishes, and good luck.
thenowandaway 9 months ago
As this point can they refound you?
It looks like you need a all new gun from them or your money back.
Some guns just have problems and you cant fix them.
JoeDurobot 9 months ago
@JoeDurobot If it is not fixed after this trip I will be demanding that they replace it. I am not sure if they can refund me because I did not buy it directly from Kahr.
edgedweapon88 9 months ago
The back plate should not be moving period. I believe that covers the striker and striker spring. Could be a hazard, report without hesitating. My heart goes out in dealing with kahr customer service. Took me 4 months to get a set of grips. When I did get them, they sent me 3 sets...and charged me for 4 sets. Refund took over a month, and they charged me 20 percent restock. Good luck
MrMitchblack 9 months ago
@MrMitchblack I am sorry to hear about your grip issues. I guess that just adds more fuel to the fire on how bad Kahr customer service is. Thank you for sharing your experience and for the information.
edgedweapon88 9 months ago

semicircular1 9 months ago
@semicircular1 Thank you for the information and I appreciate you watching.
edgedweapon88 9 months ago
My P380 slide plate is rock solid bro...the customer service rep doesnt have a clue what he's talking about. I think your right they only have 1 guy in that dept...LOL! The shipping issue is simply obsurd. I might have stressed that the gun is simply a "lemon" considering all the work Kahr had done on it and still many failures. Also how it was possible they cleared this firearm to be returned? Its obvious they shot very limited rounds through it and not thoroughly tested. Good luck man!
MrCleanerNash 9 months ago
@MrCleanerNash Thanks for the information man. I thought I was going crazy when the CS rep said that movement was normal... When he said that I was almost dumbfounded I couldn't come back with a response. I doubt they put more than 2 rounds through the gun to see if it worked properly. If I get it back and it still doesn't work the gloves are coming off!! Thanks so much for your support and I appreciate you watching.

edgedweapon88 9 months ago
@edgedweapon88 True but if it gets to the extreme you can just have it destroyed. Obviously that's an ABSOLUTE last resort. Eww I just sounded like a Brady Campaigner

edgedweapon88 9 months ago
@mspissuof- dude you obviously know very little about firearms. Every company has errors in the manufacturing process ( espically keltec) kahr arms is a high end american gun company and they make some of the best handguns in the industry. So calling his gun a piece of crap isn't helpful to his situation.. Maybe you should think about that next time you make a stupid comment

TheRealUyi 9 months ago
@TheRealUyi haha oh. Yea I was pretty pissed off but that is no reason to shoot a phone. It would cost too much to replace it!!
edgedweapon88 9 months ago
@edgedweapon88 That's why it was half expected. I almost thought that you would have channeled your fury and summoned the ammunition to do so through some ancient power.
Spherical3 9 months ago

@deputysheriff100 If all else fails I will end up going that route. Thanks for the support man.
edgedweapon88 9 months ago
Sorry that you're experiencing poor customer service and a gun that isn't %100... That's BS! I can understand you frustrations... It's too bad that Kahr isn't providing you world class customer service. I will think twice now on that PM9 that I have been eye ballin. Thanks for the vids and good luck bro.
SD4FunOD 9 months ago
@SD4FunOD Kahr really has only had trouble with their little P380. My PM9 and edgeweapon88's CW9 have had no malfunctions and many rounds put thru them. Like I said, I've never heard of any having trouble with any of their firearms except the small 380.
MrCleanerNash 9 months ago
@SD4FunOD I have heard very good things about the PM9 and I have had no issues with my CW9. Kahr has just had troubles with the P380. I was hoping I wouldn't get one of the bad ones. There customer service is sub part but the majority of their firearms a top notch. Thanks for watching man.
edgedweapon88 9 months ago
I think your going to get burned. The saying shame on em once, shame on you twice applies here. Give them a chance to fix it and let it go. Try the S&W bodyguard or the ruger lcp, tried both and while different both had many positives.
1IdeaAhead 9 months ago
@1IdeaAhead I have handled the bodyguard and I have shot the LCP. I dont like either of them. If the Kahr does not work I will end up getting the Sig P238. Thanks for watching.

grizzlyglock1 9 months ago
@grizzlyglock1 I doubt they would put that much time into checking the firearm but it is worth a try. Thanks for watching .

I dont know much much about guns, but my advice would be to ask the customer service representative to see if they can remove the play from the slide plate even if it is normal. Also keep stressing to them that it is your second time sending it back. Good luck and I hope they fix the problem soon.
