hmmm im guessing they were just testing the brakes that are used just incase the train rollbacks..but thats pretty cool though..ive always wanted to see this ride do that...
@JakePeavyFan44 Sometimes when the train launches it doesnt get enough speed to get over the hill so there is emergency breaks in the hill they stop it. Then they release to go backwards like shown in the video.
What if that was part of a regular roller coaster launch?! Haha. Your coaster goes backwards, you don't know where you're going. You stop then suddenly launch forwards. That'd be an interesting ride.

A rollback is when a roller coaster doesn't have enough speed to go over the hill it is on and goes back to hit emergency brakes.

They cycle the trains a few times and then reopen. Sorry, I don't know anything about the technicalities of it all. :)
