Are you using the stock wheels or did you have to change them? On mine the stock foam wheels were so far out of round that they would not rotate inside the wheel pants. I ended up replacing them with Du-Bro treaded rubber wheels.
That was some nice smooth flying and a great landing.
@HellcatF6Fgrumman thanks man, like you i opted for dubro rubber treaded "low bouce" wheels....the low bouce wheels help alot on our lumpy ass feild...kills me though you cant replace the front wheel wiht a larger one dues to the z bend inside the wheel pant....i also replaced the rudder and elevator linkages with 450 sized helicopter ball links...this helped immensly becasue ball links dont allow for any slop.
@qsecgtyhd I have been thinking about changing the entire nose wheel strut so I can use a larger nose wheel, just haven't got that far yet. The "low bounce" wheels are great, I also fly from a lumpy ass grass field so I know how much of a pain it can be. Ever since I started flying helicopters 6 years ago I've used ball links for my plane linkages too, even my larger nitro models use them. They make for a much more precise control surface and are easy to adjust.
thank you kindly, plane flies nicley...not good on windy days despite its size, the wing load is suprisingly low which makes a great flier for calm days whish it was. aslo flaps help immensly with this plane really makees landings a breeze. stay tuned for my dynam sr22 vid
