@gibsoa ...I'm not saying she cannot play the song. But anyone who is a bassist can clearly hear the upright bass coming through this recording. You cannot get that type of sound from an electric bass by itself. Maybe she is playing low in the background where it's not being picked up; but you can clearly hear the sliding of Esperanza's fingers especially in the upper positions.

she's playing so far from the pickup on the neck. If you think about it, that's exactly what upright players do. If they plucked the string an inch from the bridge, upright bass would sound much different.
