the sj lead announcer is an idiot...in every single clip, he is such a homer...i've never heard a guy make such an ass out of himself. "or to mironov for teh slash"....other announcer: "well, obviously he was getting a penalty" he's so fucking blinded.

Well what do you expect, for them to go for both sides? They're the Sharks announcers not the Oilers. They didnt do anything wrong, them said the right thing. Mironov was being a bitch out there, and we didnt even see all of what happened. You are the one making an ass out of yourself.

What I'm trying to say is that the sj announcer Randy Hahn thought it was ridiculous that they didnt call a penalty on Mironov ,even though there always was one, was because he thought it was stupid of him to shove Murphy. I agree with him. Also,I wouldnt call Randy Hahn a homer if he's won 3 Emmy awards.

those emmy awards he has one are local i'm sure, just like the ones that are given out in my part of the country...the baseball guys for the red sox win them every year...and they can be homers (not to this guys level) too...that doesn't have anything to do with it. i understand what he said...i just think he is always getting so excited (which isn't necessarily a bad thing) he gets distracted from the game and starts calling the other team/the refs out for nothing.

Well I guess he probably made a little mistake, but everyone does. I've grown up being a Sharks fan my whole life and he has been broadcasting for them since the Sharks first year and believe me, he aint always like this, he is overall a very good and smart announcer.

i guess i can't really claim overall he's a bad announcer...just all the clips on youtube of him are in intense, exciting situations, and he so often seems to be acting like a real idiotic homer who just doesn't see what's happening fairly...but i don't know, could be a fun announcer to listen too for the home crowd i'm sure.

Yeah he is, and I'm not saying he is a great announcer just because I'm a fan of the Sharks, I'm saying that because he does make smart decisions about what he wants to say. If the Sharks do something wrong he does point it out, otherwise because he is the broadcaster for them he supports them. I even met the guy a few weeks ago and he's a nice guy. One NHL annoucer who I do think is extremely biased though, is the Buffalo announver.
