And I know it's not the machinima staffs fault for all this happening but they could have encouraged more real machinima couldn't they, hey even made their own ones!

Machinima is nothing compared to how it was in these days. Halo 3 machinima were the best hands down, and PGL, One Life Remaining, Hard Justice, and Matchmaking are the best. All those shows are finished, with the exception of PGL, but the new season is shitty. Machinima's golden days have passed it would seem. At least they're rewatchable forever.
