Our friend Micky Shuman produced this with Billy, along wit many others. He produced Terry's Hymn La mour in Hollywood, and was with Billy when he passes away, Billy was phenomenol Terry
@TheSeminole13 The late, great is RIGHT!!! Sucks that all of his heavy drinking caused his premature death!! Seemed like touring with Clapton, N especially being on One More Car, One More Rider N in the DVD was resurrecting his whole career...
@ILoveCurves88 Would have been nice if he would have been more well known then he was for a man of his talent. Would of liked to see what he would have put out recently. Might of been great.
I was stationed on Oahu in 1975-76, when I attended a 2 day concert called The Diamondhead Crater Festival. Along with Billy Preston, I remember Cheech & Chong, Sly Stone, Melissa Manchester, America & Bachman Turner Overdrive.........and LOTs of GREAT weed....which is probably why I can't remember who else was there......
This song literally gave me a reason to keep living when I was going through some seriously depressing events as a 14-year-old boy in 1973. If a song could free my heart, give me joy and make me feel like dancing, then...life was worth living. Thank you and bless you, Billy. And thanks to TheSeminole13, too!
My dad told me he went into the record shop way back to buy this record and he was like "I'm looking for this record, Will it go round in circles?" and the staff were like "Certainly sir- All our records go round in circles"
God, this music makes you feel good.
