@EmeraldStarshooter Well, him and Monoblos are based on ceratopsians. Monoblos actually LOOKS herbivorous at least. Don't know how this guy passes as herbivorous though (then again, look at a hippo).

@Danzilla1996 yes, and a tetrablos would have two medium sized horns on its nose (like how rhinos have) and two big horns like the diablos has, and as he has a bigger skull to wear those horns, he can throw boulders around when emerging. the trioblos would have both the diablos horns and a monoblos horn (but a little smaller), and he would live in jungles and swamps. yup, I have waaay too much free time :)

i love that awesome gold lance you get after rampart, i actually have the first upgrade of the gold one, i use it on this guy all the time. and i beat the four horns quest on my first try with it. recomend using it. :) (four horns is 2 diablos) lol = Funnest quest.

I have a feeling that I should be able to kill this guy with my armor and weapon (need Diablos parts to upgrade) but aside from a few online hunts I haven't come close to killing him.. ah well, I got stuck on Barroth too and now I find him to be very easy, so I guess I'll just have to keep trying.

@Airsoftman67 I think I killed him an hour after that post. xD I hadn't made a serious attempt at him yet and when I did I caught him since I was either too lazy to kill him or I was running out of time/potions, can't remember. Just got to HR 31 and I'm perfectly capable of slaying Diablos now. :) Also of Barioth, though he still frustrates the heck outta me. And I still need some more parts from him...

@Feralious the ONE thing i hate about the barioth is his speed. and his arial attacks, i did that one quest offline where you kill 2, it was a little difficult. I beat ith though. It's exilerating when you kill a large monster while only having to use 1 mega potion lol.

@smaug131 Funny you should say that. I was doing the Barroth Buster quest and a Diablos showed up. Barroth didn't exactly shit a mudpool, but it did get the mud on it's head knocked off and it dropped a shiny. Perhaps that may be what it shitted out?

Lol I haven't fought them offline in a long time...yeah I play MHT but I played MHFU before and is extremely pissed with Tigrex and Khezu, and HR8 is my MHFU rating (don't really liked MHT compare to Freedom Unite, hopefully MHF3 is better). Diablos are easy if there is a some kind of wall present

Not too hard. I used Full Diablos the rest Uragaan and a Sabertooth(G) lance but if u dont have online u cant get that stuff so u r kinda screwed...But i think i found good armor and a wepon that u can use.

Funny enough, the reason why most of the monsters were removed was because of the new habitat we are in. Pokke/Kokoto/Jumbo/Minegrade all had similiar, if not the same habitat for monsters. While Tri takes place on an Island on the ocean, it only makes sense most of the monsters aren't there.

That would also explain why some monsters by the same name look a bit more different... geological evolution I'm guessing... like how the Rathian lost her back fur... she's not gonna need that on a warm island.
