i wanted to like the cleveland show but its just so painfully unfunny. it doesnt hold a candle to family guy or american dad, those actually have good jokes and good writing. every episode of the cleveland show ive seen (only watched 3, every time it comes on now i change the channel cuz i already know what to expect)  has been so predictable and stereotypical its a complete waste of time to watch it.

Cleveland show sucks! I don't think Cleveland was ever a strong enough character to carry a series. Also, the character structure is almost identical to Family Guy. For every FG character theres an obvious Cleveland show equivalent. Just like on American Dad, (which also totally sucks), Cleveland show is completely unoriginal.

Actually there is a long story about the King Of the Hill saga. You see, King of the Hill was getting low ratings during it's

13th season. Fox was planning to cancel the show but Adult Swim actually offered to buy King of the Hill and keep it going. Fox refused and canned King of the Hill. So even if the Cleveland Show didn't exist, King of the Hill would still sadly be cancelled.
