Saddest part about this is that tournament play allows any character, no matter how broken. The day a character with: -Highest speed -Highest health -Highest priority -Highest power -Teleport -Little-to-no hit-box whatsoever -Unblockable normals, specials, AND hypers -Grabs that can reach from full-screen -Infinites simply by mashing any button ....comes out, people are gonna swoon to that character. I can also destroy with magneto, storm, psylocke bullshit but if i'm not competing for anything... it's boring and cheap. Marvel is one of those games that give a lot to the player. Obvious skill is involved, but let's take a step back... LOOK at this game.

It's a fucking mess. It really is, but in the end it still has its depth and intricacies.

There is very little in the way of subtelty and its fans love it for it. While many, including the Japanese, disrespect it for all that it is valued for.

trap teams (strider doom/spiral sent) are pretty hard to win with in mvc2... if you ever got good enough to trap someone like that you wouldn't think it's cheap... notice how spiral died with like 85% health in 1 combo... fortunately sent fucked up too with commando. 1 fuck up and it's over.
