Only 310 watched this worldwide? They all miss something! Shelagh deserves as being as big as Vashti, Bridget St. John, Anne Briggs, Sandy Denny etc. Thank you for posting that song! :D patrick (from Switzerland)
lol Thank you. And glory be to YouTube, yes. Since you haven't heard of her I suspect you'll find her past interesting too. The psychedelia, her nomadic life. The stuff of Sixties mythos. :)
Hope Shelagh is in a happy and beautiful place

Such a sad, sad story. Wherever she is now, I hope she's well and happy.

Is this (or vice versa) a variant of Come All Ye Fair and Tender Ladies/Tiny Sparrow?

Actually, I think it is her! I know she's good with the piano but I often wonder if she's playing it in 'Waiting for the Wind to Rise'...hm.
Sometimes I just want to discard the banality of the everyday and make like a nomad with a tent. Alas, the Sixties are over. lol

This was uploaded once before, but was taken down by the copyright machine. Such a beautiful song, I agree, more people need to hear her.

Thank you, Patrick. I'm in the UK and you'd be surprised how few of the the British know her. Shameful. Regards to you and beautiful Switzerland.
