To the people saying that all food is food...I laugh at you.

If a dog was wild do you think he'd be eating processed and corn based food?

No! He'd be hunting down his own meals. It's not okay for dogs to eat people food. People food has tons of chemicals and sugars that are balanced for humans, not animals. I used to feed my cat dinner scraps and in a few short weeks he got fat! And he was an active cat.

I don't recommend feeding your animals food that you eat.

We let our cat eat human food from time to time. I think it's the same for this dog. They probably do feed her dog food, but they only live for so long, why not let them enjoy it. I'm not saying go out of your way to feed them human food, but if my cat gets the bravery to go for my empty plate that I've left on the floor, I'll let her have it.

We are all on this planet right, and you are with a dog, you are walking on this planet and she eats what you eat. @giovannasos It's true! wet food especially is soooooo unbelievably bad for your animals, if anything, it's just as processed as any of the food we eat! My dog is almost 5 and he has never been sick and I never have to take him to the vet besides for check ups. He only gets his dry food and my vet recommended that I feed him boiled egg yolk, banana, and whatever vegetable he will eat. He loves carrots, sliced apples, and rice (but he rarely gets to get it).

I really don't understand what some of you mean by "people food". We are idiots for eating the processed crap we eat that we're not supposed to have it in OUR system, that's why people get sick and become obese! Animals can have vegetables, fruits and grains dependent on the breed (a lot vets recommend you feed your dog these things rather than processed dog food!!!!)

People eat meat even though our gastrointestinal tract is consistent with an herbivores which means we can digest it as quick as a carnivore. Yeeeah I'm all for trying to help animals to survive that have disabilities, but... not that one. My dog started acting like that in February of this year. He was 13 years old and it turned out a tumor in his brain was pushing on whatever controls spacial perception and balance and he was just miserable. It absolutely terrified him as soon as it fully kicked in and he had to be put down because it was no scenario to make any living thing suffer through. Let the poor dear have some peace.

The dog is fat because obviously it can't exercise as much as a jack russell should; it can barely walk anywhere, as well as them feeding it ice cream and sandwiches and whatnot.

I don't blame them for feeding him that way, poor lil guy, they probably pity him, at least the dog can enjoy what he's eating since he can't even walk in a straight line or chase balls like normal jack russells can.
