  • 我昨天才以3000元新台幣買到VPD500。

    299美元實在有點...。

I was shocked that I heard the price of VPD500.

    It just cost me NTD $3000 (≒USD $ 103) .

Taiwan's electronic products are very cheap.

  • I just bought VPD500 NTD $3000 (≒USD $ 103) in our country.

Taiwan's electronic products are very cheap.

  • If anyone is thinking about buying this for 300$ they should buy a cheap android tablet with a touchscreen

  • OR YOU CAN BUY THE PSP THIS THING HAS THE SAME MENU AND THE SAME CLICKY NOISE WHEN YOU SCROLL THROUGH THE MENU AS THE PSP .PERIOD

  • @HAFhotandfluffy AND YOU CAN DO SO MUCH MORE ON IT

  • How much does this cost roughly? Also Im trying to find a good quality Touch screen mp3 player under 70 dollars so if you havfe any tips message me.

  • no touchscreen?

  • The different colour cables are not of the respective countries, The different cables are HD and normal. Please do your research.

  • @PepitoIngles you are right but believe me, one comment is enough. do your research on doubleposts ;)

  • Not true. One is for HD and the other for normal viewing.

  • can someone say PSP

  • i just bought the 400 version for 85$ on ebay new lol :\

  • I'm waiting for the Viewsonic VPD550T 1080P 5 inch Touch Screen for 199. Viewsonic says coming soon, but when?!?!!

  • i d love to pay instead -.-

  • its like if ipod touch and psp had baby

  • @robertsonak01 lol mor the zune HD since it had Hd and psp

  • Does it have video input?

  • I think the OTG Cable should be packaged with the device.

  • did they just give this to you or did you pay for it?

  • we did this video at the viewsonic headquarters

  • awesome well i think thatd extra cord should be free lol u.s.a has no extra money lol i like all ur videos i wish i could live down there ive heard electronics are at a good cost

  • I just picked up the 400 at Fry's and I love it - this has everything I've been looking for in a PMP (mini USB, expansion slot, remote, etc.). Thanks for posting this review.

One question - I haven't seen the 500 available in any stores or on amazon...is this model coming to the US?

  • Yes. They were supposed to roll it out at the same time. But I think the 400 is more attractive choice. The glossy display would be tragic if you tried using it outside. This might be why Fry's only offered the 400.

  • I thought this was a new device from Sony.

  • total rip off of the psp's xmb

it even has the same xmb sounds, arnt those copyrighted samples?

  • Wow, I agree.

Total rip off of the XMB from Sony.

Even the sounds are kinda similar O_o

  • Comment removed

  • ich finde eure Seite/Berichterstattung echt super und hoffe natürlich das ich das ACER D250 gewinne

  • Of course we would want the OTG thing-a-majig included. But I wouldn't buy this thing. The controls look clunky. All the buttons are on the top and are the same shape, size, and feel.

BTW, I think the red, blue, and green cable is an HD component cable for 720p playback and the other is a 3.5mm stereo adapter. Looks as if you have to plug both cables to get video and sound. I think they forgot to include a standard definition cable (unless that red and white RCA jack also comes with a yellow).

  • The non glossy smaller one seems kinda handy and nice, but big and glossy seems to be the way. Why is the remote sensor on the side ? :P How would you control with the remote sensor out of sight ? Your presentation is personable and candid (= good!)

  • The style of the menu remids me of the Xmb from psp and ps3...thats crazy!

  • id be more impressed, but i mean the gui is from the psp and ps3, so meh

  • i wouldnt of known if u told me...lol

  • Kewl

  • Laggy movie playback... Fail!

  • lol this copied menu from psp

  • 299 for the 5" 249 for the 4"

  • no touchscreen

  • Next gen will have touchscreen

  • @minipcpro yey!

  • psp rip off?

  • no ogv? :-( OTG Cable should be included a must. TY keep up the awesome work i'm so jealous that would rawk to mess with kool new gagets every day ;-)

  • wtf!? psp menu ?

  • well yeah its a sony product

  • No its not Sony, its Viewsonic, they are going to be entering the market aggressively over the next few months. They have a really stacked product line. I'd keep an eye out for it cuz the build quality is good.

  • @minipcpro yeah.. this is very nice copy

    of the psp's menu...

  • @batezippi holy shit sony should sue em

  • @H3lloSE they should indeed!
