i am bold and proud of the culture any where any time.let me see your hands up if you are urhobo and you are proud of your origin.if you are truelly and really sure you are, then propagate the culture all over.viva urhobo! españa
Guys keep this video up, it definitely rocks! I remember when in Ughelli, I played live alongside with this famous Musicians, I'm now in overseas, seeing this video makes me home sick. Urhobo wadooooo....
Do you know about Nigerian languages? Do you know that Urhobo language is the fifth or sixth largest language in Nigeria? Do you also know that Urhobo is a major tribe in the oil rich Niger Delta of Nigeria?
Do you also know that there are sons and daughters of Urhobo origin scattered all over the world?
Thanks to the people who post these music, really thanks alot, nothing like leaving home with no body to speak your laguage to and then after a while it leaves your mouth and you be very happy to find these music on youtube and listen to them, remember the good old days
As a bini who knows very little urhobo i was wondering if anyone could please tell me a brief overview of what he is singing about? I like the rhythm and the movements but i have no idea what he is talking about.
This is nice to see and hear. Ran into this , thanks to my eleven years old daughter. Just makes you very proud. Anyone out there with material from the late chief Omokomoko ?
Omo unoko calling. Omo Urhobo wado, Omo Onoko wado. To all my elders, I say megwo.
Okay, I know I might have got some spelling wrong there, but you brethrens get the gist of what one is trying too say.
Anyways, Peace & love to the brother or sister who put these Urhobo music up. Its nice to hear the music of our roots as being omo unokos, most of us can't speak the language (although we can hear it). So having music like this here enhanced our understanding of the language and culture.
love the video .I;m from Ijebu-Ode ,but enjoy any authentic culture being shown to the world
