  • i want that vw bus!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Dear Gentleman:

Thanks for the vide, I want to ask you a favor; ¿would you please tell me where is located this place?.

    Thank you.

  • hey men, nice cars...... i need some parts for a stud presidente '55....for Mexico....

  • i love studebaker larks. When I was a kid around 1966ish my best friends older brother had one. It had the coolest color combination. The exterior was a medium light brown.....like coffee with half cream in it ...and the interior was red and white. Sounds crazy.....but it looked real good.

  • wow a bunch of old studebakers!!

  • I didn't walk, I ran.

  • someone please restore these cars!!!

  • Thing is, all of these cars are rot buckets... This is in hot, humid Florida. George is one of the best Stude mechanics I know, and has a shop full of nice Studebakers, however. :)

  • Thats a small lot of Studebakers. Goto Northern Indiana and there is a guy that has literally over 300 Studebakers sitting outside rotting waiting for him to strip the parts off and scrap what can't be saved.

  • Someone needs to restore those cars!

  • I can understand where your comming from. I'm just saying to save whatever cars and or parts we can. In Hemmings Car Magazine they restore cars that are in worse shape.

  • Theres a VW bus in there.

    1968?

  • studes

  • Is this yard in Indiana? I have been there my dad was a big Stude guy...I grew up around 49 to 51 Champions.

    Kevin

  • Wow ! now this is what I call a real Gold mine for collectors and restorers.

  • Great to see the ol Studebakers -

  • Yes, that is the rotted remains of a '53-'54 Commander HT. It has a Stude V8, and when we ran the #'s, it appreared to be a 50's truck engine. The trans is supposedly a T-10 4 speed, but I don't think George has checked it out yet.

  • Thanks! The owner of this junkyard has quite a few restored Studebakers as well. My favorite car that he owns is an all original 1938 Commander State 4 door. Everything's original, including paint and interior.

  • VERY worth watching! Where are you guys located at? I've got a '60 Lark that needs a lot of love (see my latest video).

  • This place is located just outside of Tallahassee, FL.

  • Worth watching to know there is metal out there even an old truck.
