oh ander I know! Vilma and Rudy had wonderful chemistry!! She was such a beauty and he was such a georgeous man...just think of the beautiful children both of them could've had! i honestly don't know what that idiot rambova was thinking..???
Vilma Banky was a exquisite beauty. She is best remembered for her work opposite handsome leading man Ronald Colman. They appeared in a series of fantastic love stories. Their chemistry was magical! The great Valentino picked Vilma as his leading lady in what would be his last film, "The Son Of The Sheik". Fondly, Hedda
It's great to see such tributes to the old silent stars. When I was first getting interested in film, back in the 1970s, it was pretty unusual to find anybody who had ever even heard of such people as Vilma Banky. Today, young people are studying and enjoying those great early films and there's a whole renaissance going on with respect to the cinema's beginnings. Many thanks.
Lovely tribute, Basilnelson. Parts of this tribute remind me of a silent film. Vilma looks quite demure in many of these images. The music is very fitting as well.

Goodness I agree! I love Vilma...they would've made a wonderful couple...and she wouldn't try to control his career like Rambova!!!

She's a cutie. She is the best actress to star with Rudy. I like her acting style. It is natural. She is just herself you know.
