  • this is posible onli with very light damage.

  • How about using dry ice?

  • @axenz1 that would make it cold and the paint would crack.

  • skillz

  • BULL SHIT! Can not get every little wrinkle out of a dent that way.

I worked in an Auto Body Shop all of my life and the gage of TIN is even thinner now.

Maybe 1% will come out but nothing with a crease.

  • @sixtiesforever1966 You obviously know nothing about PDR, stick to traditional body work and leave the PDR to us.

  • You could have used a hair dryer and can of compressed air (make sure to hold the can upside down!).

  • Can you guys do this with Aluminum hoods?

  • that is how its done, not with like hairdryer and freeze spray bullshit

  • making a dent is alot easier :) haha nice vid

  • WHATS THE AVERAGE PRICE FOR THIS ?

  • any place in baton rouge, la do that?

  • NICE!

  • Any places near houston, tx that do the job???? Without messing up the paint

  • @ErikMartinez454 Yes. Ask for Wade and email him. He is very good. got dents at yahoo dot com

  • @denttime yea a pretty huge one

  • The stripes thing is brilliant!!!!! I use techniques like that for modeling for video games. I would have never ever though about it for stuff like this.

  • That's artwork man !! Amazing ! Cant believe that could be done.

  • para que sirve ese util que parece un espejo o algo asi?, rectangular

  • Great vid. It gives me hope for my dents. thanks!

  • nice video

  • This is an art. I have to ask though. What has this whole "heat gun and can O' air" thing done for you? The vids I have seen appear to pop the who dent out perfectly. If you could make a video comparing the two techniques, that would put the ball back in your court.

  • what is the tools called that u used?

  • Two hours is very realistic for that dent...he may have moved the truck to get the sunlight back on the "board" that he's using to "see" the dent. I love the sun hitting my board, lighting up the panel to improve the final result.

Nice job there, glad you caught it on video, let the naysayers be naysayers, I know you worked that dent out, and I don't even know you. I can still see a bit of it(barely), but like your customer said, he's 100% satisfied, especially if he has a body shop estimate!

  • Veramente da mago !!!! Grande !!!!!!!

  • dats amazing. i feel like i wana fix my suburban. i have the same dent spot but its way to hard on metal

  • MY SOCKS FLEW OFF TO THIS VIDEO.. BIG TOES UP

  • forget what everyne says that was impressive

  • @denttime not hard just time consuming, any monkey can push up surface area. judging by the movement of the shadows and the brightness it looks like you started early in the morning and finished at least 5+ hours later, maybe if you did the dent indoors with no obvious time detections id agree with the 2 hours "claimed".

  • what does a procedure like this cost for this size of dent?

  • Paintless dent repair guy that worked at a BMW dealership with me would have done it the same way. great work.

  • this can only be used on "new" cars ,as with time ,the metal loses its "memory" and the paint becomes brittle ........ on older cars!

  • Joeblow... Your and idiot!!!!! Losing!!!

    For standard pricing:

PDR is priced by panel, location and size.

Cost could range from $50.00 (small) to $375.00(xtrem) a panel for a single dent, again depending on size and location and could cost more for hail damage.... Removal of interior door panels and headliners etc....

Do your research . Call Car Dealers,Detail Shops, Autobody Shops, web search etc...

Their are a lot of hacks out there so be sure find a quality company like the guys this video w

  • @denttime im sure using all those tools perfects the dent removal, but i cant admit that im gullible cause ive tried it and it worked.. If the dent is creased, then nevermind

  • i had a guy down here in miami do a paintless dent removal, and i was talking to him while he was working, he had to go to school to learn how to do this stuff, i got my dent removed for free because he works for the mercedes dealership that my dad works for , but he said they charge by how big the dent is and the difficulty of the dent

  • Will someone quote me, how much do people charge to remove dents and where are the cheapest but good shops in the inland empire or SD? Thank you.

  • ur gonna tell me thiers no other easier way, i just saw someone do it with a blow dryer and an air duster

  • i have a similar dent on a 2009 nissan frontier...right behind the rear tire, how much would that be? (similar size as well)

  • wow . you bastard is all i can say. That was some show of skills and i am sure it must have taken years of experience to get that good and quick. Thumbs up mate, we need more skilled folk like you in Australia.

  • thats a neat way to see the dent

  • this is not a job, this is ART.

  • @denttime Naah, I'm just shitting you

  • how long did it take you from start to finish?

  • @musicvideoremade Less then 2 hours.

  • @denttime that sun moved over head pretty fast for less then 2 hours?

    more like 5-6 hours

  • Comment removed

  • @denttime at 2 hours, it took roughly 50,000 times longer to fix the dent than it did to make it. That's entropy for you!

  • use dry ice

  • nice work well done

  • good job

  • awesome job !! very impressive!

  • exelent...

  • Holy crap Mike , you know how to hype up the dents. You got a ton of views on here. that's like being famous, hehe. nice vids doggie! oh yeah, this is Roger BTW. Hope all's well.

  • @alexkolb1 Yo Roger, what up? Thanks bro. It's always nice to see you on the 163 in the same spot doing 80mph! Take care and hope all is well with you too bro.

  • I would not have believed it if I didn't see it!

  • complimenti.....bello davvero....

  • Nice job. It takes work to get it right.

  • the spare look of the car before and after, half day working HAHAHAHHA

  • i have a 95 maxima that has a dent about the size of a hand in the passenger side behind the rear wheel. how much do you think it would cost to fix?

  • you got skill nice work

  • very very amazing.!!!

  • great job man

  • PDR is a good way and a cheep way to fix a dent but not the way to go cause that little pin you seen him use is putting little holes in the paint so what happens is the sun will bleach out the paint in those little holes in about a years time.

  • im a nine year dent tech. i have fixed thousands of dents.have had no problems with paint bleaching . i think you have that confused with the conventional method. good job denttime

  • Just had my BRAND NEW truck fixed by Brian, its 99% perfect, but Im 100% satisfied. Nobody else would notice the 1% imperfection.

  • Thank you. We really appreciate the feedback.

  • it only took him a week!!!!!

  • que es esa chingadera rayada? aka en mexico usan un martillo, pasta y pintura. claro sus martillazos tambien....

  • haaaaaa its was so painful when i saw the dent on my truck last night...same truck and color as the one shown here in the vid!

  • absolute brilliance.....need people like this in India...

  • the best video I've seen on dent removing

    great job

  • Неплохо ,но мы еще круче можем.

    ввв.вакум.ру

  • Мы еще круче можем вакум.ру

  • approximately how much would something like that cost?

  • that was awesome. I had a dent on my car and the the guy in the body shop hammered the shit out of it to pop it out. It needed a serious paint job after that.

  • lol!

  • Yeah good job, I am glad to see techs actually cross checking and doing it right. I hate when I see butchered work and it seems to be more common, I have a pdr company here in STL

  • professional JOB!!!!!!

  • I get it.

Use a Ronchi grating to see the reflection.

How many people could master this skill.

I'm still working on keeping rust off the frame.

  • thats skill !!!

  • Well done

  • My neighbor did this. It took a few yrs for him to get really good at it. Good job !! You have to go to someone that is a true artist at this because once it is screwed up it is much harder to fix. And to everyone out there that thinks you can start making lots of money real quick. It takes lots of dedication to get this good.

  • That is amazing!! You had to restore that vertical body line! You really are a Master!

  • Dude, I so need to move to San Diego. I've brought dents to my local PDR guy that weren't even 1/4 of that size and they tell me it can't be done. Goes to show the skill levels of PDR technicians (or should I call them artists?) vary widely.

  • You nailed. Unfortunately most of the public thinks just because a company advertises they offer paintless dent repair doesn't mean they are good at it. It's sad the public is always looking for the cheapest price rather than the best quality. When it comes to pdr, we only get one chance to make it look perfect. Buy cheap, buy twice.

  • zoolander!

  • thats what i call a good job!!!!

  • Meh!... took hi a long while

  • waaaw cool dude

  • i wish someone could do something like that here and houston texas...

  • wow

  • Sweet!

  • Very cool stuff.

  • Damn right Jedi!

  • those are some pretty sick tools

  • Nice work man ! can you do that work on a front chrome fender .I got a small dent on it and what's the charge? THANKS.

  • give the guy a break..he did a great PDR..just think in canada the dent would be close to a 5 hour repair plus prep and paint time at 4 hours for traditional repair and dont forget the 15% taxes as well!

  • yeah the bodyline its good i dont deny it, im just saying it needs a little more work,,

  • thats good alright, im a dent technician and unfortunatelly i think its needs a little more work, if you want to know why just pause it at 2.18,,youll see why,

  • I'm sorry to disappoint you but there was nothing left to improve. How long have you been perfecting the art of PDR? Do you have some videos of your own work? Do you use lines? Do you have a website?

  • years already, and nope i dont have videos nor a website, i rather just stick to my work than be showing other people, and yes there was left parts to improve,, just pause it rigth at 2.18, youll see the white line looks crooked that means, good but not good enough, :D

  • That is the body line you are looking at. When the white line goes across the factory body line, it pinches from the reflection. LOL. Any experienced PDR tech clearly sees that.. Come on, don't waste my time trying to explain that when you should already so call know.

  • It is pinched at the bodyline.. I watched the section of video he was referring to and never really saw a problem...

  • Also, look and pause at 2:10, the lines pinch across the body line and are consistently straight. using the line board tells no lies. Case dismissed.

  • nice, show him whos boss.

hey how lond does it take on average to take out door dings.

  • Anywhere from 15 minutes to 45 minutes depending how deep, location, access and of coarse, experience.

  • "Of Coarse " experience is must.

  • velionbligo your a idiot, thats the factory body line! The whole bed buldges out around the wheel wells.

  • if youre gonna talk first gather information about the conversation so you know what your gonna say,,,i wasnt talking about the body line you dumbass...

  • The repair looks just fine! The customer was happy, he got paid, and life goes on.

  • cool, i agree..

  • @velionbligo that was the before picture dumb ass. and it's not at 2:18, its actualy at 2:17 troll harder tech

  • What about when the paint cracks from the dent then what do you do?

  • wow, nice job .if you guys can fix car dent thn i bet you guys can also fixed knee dent..can i rent you guys to fix my dent knee.i pay big bucks.......

  • Di ego, Diego Diego, lego my eggo

    Break dancein an out

You are an real artist Artist

    NICE!

  • Thats a lot of work..... Mexican

  • damn nice

  • This is some serious talent. Dent removal is an art, this is just rediculous. It's perfect, and the lined panel makes total sense for seeing every little wave. Great skill you've got here...

  • fuck that is great ¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡

  • very nice work.

  • good job son.

  • how long did that take ?

  • 1 hour and 10 minutes

  • Wow!! nice job

  • Very good, not only was the dent removed but the crease in the panel was restored too.

  • where could i get the tool's I have been doing PDR for a wile and im in need of some new tool's and was wondering if there is any other place i could go to the the entire PDR tool box as a set instead of a piece by piece thing

  • skillz!

  • People think all this is funny but try doing it for 15 years and then having to get your rotator cup in your shoulder replaced from crankin huge dents then it's not so funny. For those people who think we are overpaid I've used the money to have 6 skin cancers removed from my face because I stuck it against cars that were baking in the sun while removing a dent. Fun Fun Fun!

  • never used a tent to block sun? i work outside too and a tent is a must it helps soooo much.

  • LOL "the jedi dent remover"

  • whats that pen thing your using with the rubber hammer thingy?.. can you give me a list of things i could use to fix a dent like that?

  • watch the beginning backwards, probably looks like liposuction for cars... lol

  • Awesome. Are you guys in Central Fl?

  • not only is your car dent repair amazing. You could totally be a professional editor. Great vdeo.
