The winged eagle belt was stolen by Mr.Perfect and destroyed and then the Hardcore Championship belt was made, and though it said WWE on the top plate, if u look closley u see wings and at the top a old school WWF logo

The WWC belt was releathered by Dave, but wasn't a bootleg belt, IIRC. Scala bought and casted it after the releather. That belt is also carrying more STDs than Missy Hyatt, seriously. Kristi Myst used the strap as a makeshift dildo during a photoshoot at Joe's house one time which was interesting to watch. So whoever owns it now, make sure you sterilze your hands after handling it for your own safety.

Wow great video! The winged eagle belt is my favorite of all time. The flexibility of the real one is amazing! I agree too, the belts don't mean as much anymore. I think that's another reason the 90's WWF was the best, the belts were so important to the wrestler. It meant something when you watched them fight for it. Ah..the 90's, how I miss them.

Its real cause it's not a cheap replica. It may not be ring used but it's made by the same guy who made the belt for the wwf not made in china lol. Also the plates are dipped in 24k gold. The leather is real genuine leather not simulated with cardboard stuck in between the simulated leather. The belt is all hand tooled. Again not pressed from china. Big difference.

Straps on real belts are 100% leather and have a backing covering the bolts not plastic leather, they have swarovski crystals not just dull plastic gems and real belts 4mm+ thick and are plated in 24k gold

i agree with what you said about how back then the titles meant something. well i saw a video of hulk hogan disgracing the wwf title in japan... calling it a christmas ornament... and saying that the iwgp title was the real title to have... soo i lost respect for him saying that... and that was while he had the wwf title in his hands.

I think your 100% correct titles these days really dont seem to mean a thing and I think part of that comes from the shear abundance of titles there seems to be a title for each and every wrestler.  And when you have spinner belts it only looks like crap. In my opinion the classic winged eagle is the only world title there should be.

I agree with what you said about the denegration of titles nowadays. Additionally, the introduction of special belts for individual wrestlers made it worse, especially the spinner belts suck big time.

I agree the titles in WWE today are not worth anything. That Winged Eagle was so important to guys like Bret Hart, Shawn Michaels, Hulk Hogan, Diesel... its not only the best looking title ever its by far the most important and Reggie Parks should be in the WWE hall of fame.

That isnt the same level of real belt as a Reggie or Dave. It was cast instead of etched. That belt has sold several times in the 4-500 range.

They are spray etched brass plates. Those who claim they are stamped are wrong. Any metal that is stamped has a bit of the design showing on the back side(anything stamped.. the metal has to go somewhere as it compresses). They are then nickle plated and gold plated like any other belt. The lacquered coating is clear and is over the plates when they are done. Probably because the plating is very thin and low quality.
