I've known and watched Mr. Feltsman play for years. Yes, he does come across as an arrogant egomaniac, but that goes with the territory, does it not? When I first had a conversation with him, he did seem nasty, but by the second time he seemed more "human"; however, his condescending tone was still there. Still, his artistry is not to be doubted, and he ranks high among all the great piano artists.
I LOVE him!!!! Knowledgeable and articulated! And a sense of humour!
