I'm gonna buy roccat kone plus, but there is an important thing what I still dont know about this mouse. Can I set the side buttons to a SINGLE HOLDABLE key, like CTRL ? (what is completely equal with the real key) Please answer only if you're sure about this.

TCU on is obviously better. It tracks the surface its using and maximises its settings for ultimate precision.

Great review, I have definitely got more of an idea of what my next mouse should be, I like the overall look of the mouse and it's control panel, and the amount of features packed into such a 'low priced' gaming mouse.

In my opinion it definetly is not "low priced", but that may be me being cheap.

Anyway I got the Kone about a week aago after watching this review.

Personally I love it and the customizable buttons and lights are awesome. My only problem however is that the lower left light has gotten a little bit retarded and on occassion goes the wrong colour or isn't as bright as the other LED's.

However this does not really matter as when you are using the mouse your hand covers up that light and I'm only having this problem in one colour, unfortuanately the colour that is failing is the original cyan colour that is the mouse standard

But whatever no worries the mouse is fantastic and I would reccommend it lots and lots!

I only called it 'cheap' because my razer cost more when I bought it but packs less features and a lower dpi :)

It's excellent the comfort is unparrallel to any standard mouse (I have no experience with gaming mice). It feels fantastic and I love all the little buttons, profiles and functions aswell.

I actually have a question to anyone else who owns the mouse, how do you link a profile to World of Warcraft. I have tried to do this but I can't find the autoupdater.exe the Roccat support says you should use.

I'm thinking about either getting this or the razer deathadder 3g. What would you recommend? I'm in Sweden where the Kone is 800kr ($72) and the Deathadder 549kr ($104).

Hmm thats a tricky one, It really depends on your personal opinion. Here are the facts between the 2 mice.

-Roccat looks better

-Razor is cheaper

-Roccat is bigger, Razor is smaller

-Roccat customer Support = top notch, Have not tried Razor support.

Thats as much as I can say! Its really up to you! Their both good mice :)

Adding onto GamingReviewsLive's comment, from these review Roccat Kone looks like a dream for someone who likes to customize their buttons

I personally have owned the DeathAdder and it has just broken for me (my own doing, tripped over the cable) but it is very comfortable and also durable. (that's far from the first time I've tripped over the cable)

I'm now looking for a mouse now with more buttons and customizability, the Kone has definitely caught my eye (may be the flashy lights!)

Yeah, that song fits nicely as a backing track. And yeah - thats a tough one - I can't really recommend anything on that one, it will just come down to personal preference. Their both good mice, just depends which one you like more! If you can, try and try at least one out in your local computer shop and see if you like it or not!

Yeah, well from my use - I would deffinatly recomend it. If you like your pc to look cool, then this does the trick - its packed with features, and I havent had any problems at all with it so far! So yeah - recomended! :)
