how do u grab him in mission 3, everytime i grab him and hold the circle button (proud ps3 owner) i keep throwing him, is there a special ability u need in order to complete the mission?

Mission 1: Snatch, buster, and buster again (each scarecrow dies in 2 busters).

Mission 2: Air hike, then keep using snatch (automatic mode might be easier).

Mission 3: Hold a scarecrow and use it to block attacks while taunting occasionally. Hold the 2nd scarecrow when the first one dies.

Mission 4: Stay in the orb locations and don't move, if orbs don't appear after 5 seconds, find another location (look up fansites for the locations).

just came back to this game (i only ever beat it on devil hunter mode) I dunno, im just not good at this game, Im playing back through to go for achievements but they have to be some of the hardest achievements in any game. Can't get this one whatever I do. Do you have to use taunt at all? cuz when I do that it just drops the guy Im holding. Ive made it about halfway thru D, but cant ever get it any further.

Mission 3 is easily done with Dante and Royal Block. The game doesn't count royal block as attack and with pushing b all the time you get carnage real fast.

@naryanr you just have to stand there and the orbs will pop up. sometimes the orbs will be on the second floor and you have to jump up to get there, using the doors will fail the mission. try and jump where the gyro blade is.

"Grab an hold" ability you get in mission 9. So u cant do SM 3 until u get it. You have to hold monster in air and taunt after each attack. Dont taunt all the time because it doesnt work that way

You mean the anima mercury? You can find divinity statues randomly around the game, or upgrade your character with the power up! option before u start a mission.

That's cause you have an xbox360. The emplacement of the orbs is different from the ps3 version.

On mission 4, it seems like the locations of the red orbs keeps changing each time you do it. For example, the first time I played it -and failed, because of the time limit-, they were in the same place as they were in your video. I played it again, and they were in a different spot.

If you listen closely, he's taunting as he's holding them. Also, when the enemies attack the enemy you're holding, that raises the style meter as well.

@Yuliachin: He holds the enemy by using buster on them without letting go of the button. As for the 2nd mission, turn on Automatic mode, go in the middle, and start bustering. The game basically does it for you.

i would also like to say that i managed after many hours, completing secret mission 3 with out using taunt... i even managed to kill all the monsters twice (except the one left as a shield...) after alot of tries i made it that way... NOT RECOMENDED on my mind it was the hardest allthough i havent tryed 8 yet...

When I buy a gaming console, I don't buy it to watch High-Quality movies, dipshit. The PS3 has so many Hardware glitches, backwards compatibility is fucked.
