This belt is nice, just not worth $1500. If they significantly lowered the price I might buy it because I don't want to spend over $1000 for any type of belt.

Looks just like a Ultra Delux besides the leather....I'd just get an Ultra and get it releathered with the leather backing...Like I have done already...But still pretty impressive belt...But I'd never get a Master Series replica
Well I thought I was going to get the winged eagle and ic master series belts since the price was dropped 50 percent, now they are both back to full price and wont be dropping again. Its a very nice belt but if im going to going pay 1500 for a belt im gonna go ahead and get a real one made.
TV belt leather isn't super floppy either. Leather still needs a little strength to hold the weight of the plates, otherwise it'll fall over all the time lol..
But yea, sucks that even with $750 it needs releathering lol. Can't believe they haven't even upgraded from those stitched on snap-boxes lol.
I feel bad for the ones that paid $1500 for it though..
@blaznangel01 It is interesting to note however that this is the ONLY replica in where the curved bars are connected to the middle plate just like the real thing. Even the ultra deluxe doesn't have that. So other than the leather this really is the closest thing to the belt that was used on tv. The only thing that just pisses me off is the "R" next to every wwf logo. On all the replicas over the years, the only time an R was next to the logo was on the main plate.
@Nemix9 Were they having a sale? I'm skeptical as to how they would sell you that belt for 50% off. I also don't get the critics of the $1500 price tag. I have no interest in paying 2600 for a 'REAL' one and waiting 6 months to a year for it to arrive. I'll gladly pay 1500 for that bad boy and have it within a week or so. To the naked eye and someone who is not anal, that replica is virtually the real deal and is one hell of a collectors item.
@Craig6078 i havent held a ultra deluxe version of this one. But I think it's safe to guess that the master series is going to be heavier than a ultra deluxe version. Because even though they both are made on 4mm plates, the master series does have parts of it that are much thicker than 4mm. You can see on the video how the Eagle part on the main plate is raised up from the rest of the plate, on the ultra deluxe the eagle isn't raised. The curved bars on the sides of the main plate are thick too
I see what you meant by getting the belt on a discount. All the master series belts have been priced reduced. If they are still on sale in March I'm going to get both the Winged Eagle and Intercontinental belts.
@PawNtheSandman The price difference between this one and a ultra deluxe is $150, and it's a very big step up in quality. The difference between this one and a real handmade belt is close to $2,000... So I would hope that there would be a noticeable difference with that. but for just $150 more than a brand new ultra deluxe, I think it's a pretty decent asking price.
@Nemix9 You can get a FWF, crown, or WW logoed Winged Eagle made by Parks/Millican for $1,200-$1,400 pre-owned. Even paying $800 for these Master Series belts is a joke, especially considering how they are made.
In comparison the new UFC and WEC replicas are cast copies of the original belts minus the additional layers. These are only $399 retail and closer to their real counterparts than these $1000+ Master Series belts.
@Nemix9 I also invite you and all other less knowledgeable Fig Inc collectors to come to the dedicated belt forums and we can help educate you guys. There are a couple screws keeping the sidebars against the strap. Though, it is not noticeable at all, I had to check it by feeling the back of the belt for the screws. It's not really needed, cause the side bars are attached to the center plate. I think they did it for cosmetic/durability purposes. Probably less chance of the front plate accidentally getting ripped off if there's no room between the strap and the side bars.
@Nemix9 That part is a shame because on the real belt always used on tv, those side bars were loose and would stick out. Other than that this really is a very nice belt
Are the side bars screwed on to the strap like the older versions or are they free from the strap. Ya know what i mean. The real belt the side bars are not screwed to the belt
@dayumxdisboixjk After looking at it more, It looks like all those little details like on the wings for example, which would simply be etched in on a ultra deluxe belt, is a lot deeper like it's actually been cut into the master series belt. Also the center plate comes with a very nice, realistic and accurate curve to it. Unlike 90% of the "self-curved" belts you out there, which are curved way too far.
the leather work design pattern that surrounds the plates are also very nice.
@Nemix9 There was no offense to it dude, but it's still shit. yes the plates are awesome and they make it "pop" more, but it still isn't the greatest. it looks too toy like. but whatever floats your boat.
