  • any body compared the times that BC and Frankel run? would be interesting to see who would win on paper, both horses have the same running fashion (jump first, stay first) Not doubting frankel but i've seen BC win a group 1 without being touched with the whip..

  • @phallex i take it you haven't seen the Sussex Stakes where he destroyed the best miler in years in Canford Cliffs under a hand ride

  • I'd like to see BC and Frankel run on a surface that isn't grass. The reason there aren't more North American horses who aren't undefeated like these 2 is because we run our horses on different surfaces and at different distance. Black Caviar only goes 5-7f on the grass, Frankel goes 7f-1m on the grass. They have no versatility.

  • @ImtheOriginalDougieD Frankel is moving up to 10f this season, Maybe 12f. In reality mate North American racing isn't a patch on on European or Australian racing at the minute the ratings will back that up.

  • @03hjdoher it'll be interesting to see Frankel going longer. But besides BC and Frankel, European and Australian racing have no major stars. The simple fact is that there's a lack in versatility when you run on grass only. Look at So You Think, he had over $7 million in earnings running on only turf, but when he came over to Churchill and ran on the dirt, he ran 6th. I'm not trying to knock BC or Frankel, I'm just stating that if they were to run on a different surface, they may not perform.

  • @ImtheOriginalDougieD Well Sir Henry Cecil has all but ruled out running Frankel on dirt which is why he said that were he to venture to the USA he would run in the Breeders Cup Mile but by then he would be targeting 1m2f races so it would be more likely he would run in the Champions Stakes and then retire.

  • @CharlesOlney23 If he does go to Santa Anita this year, he'll either play it safe in the turf mile, or try and go big on the dirt in the classic. Time will tell. I don't think any horse is unbeatable, Secretariat lost a few times, Zenyatta got beat.

  • @ImtheOriginalDougieD If he goes to the Breeders Cup I'd put money on him running in the mile but I think he'll end his career in the Champions Stakes at Ascot in October. Khallid Abdulla is a big supporter of Qipco and the Champions series. No horse is unbeatable but some are considered the next step down. I don't think he's unbeatable as Sea the Stars was because he seems harder to control and train.

  • I'd love to see Black Caviar trying to keep up with that as she tasted her first loss.

  • british cocksuckers, seriosuly, did you see the cav beat the SECOND best horse in the world Hay List on the weekend?

Frankfurt jogs on the spot and has the absolute shit beaten out of him. yet BC is just hands and heels the whole way. Absolutely dreaming. I tell you if Hay List decided to come across, it would beat that nothing racehorse Frankfurt by a good 2-3 Lengths in a canter. and obviously black caviar would add another two-three lengths. Typical rubbish birtish flog who rates himself

  • @chubbz92 Why should we take your opinion over every other rating system in the world? As for Hay List. He isn't in the top 10 in the world by anyone's ranking. Also it isn't Frankfurt its Frankel. If you were a real racing fan, you'd know this, after all he is the best horse in the world :)

  • @chubbz92 Oh and I bet you thought our Cricket team was overrated last year too ;)

  • Let's not daydream about BC and F racing each other, let alone Frankel doing anything but win. Focus on how she will cope against Deacon Blues on his favourite racecourse. Until, I see her in the flesh (which I will do come Royal Ascot) then I feel I can say this: Deacon Blues will give Black Caviar a race and may well even get the better of her.

  • @CharlesOlney23 Deacon Blues ? Good joke. The only competition for Black Caviar overseas will be the Aussie contingent that come across with her. Hay List , Sepoy, Foxwedge and maybe one or two more. "May well even get the better of her" , fucking classic you joker man you.

  • @MrJakobBrown It has often been said that I would make it on the Apollo and there was the hint of sarcasm in my last comment. I saw Deacon Blues twice in the flesh last season, when winning the Group 2 at Newbury without breaking sweat and running away from the top British sprinters at Ascot. On form he has far too much to make up with Black Caviar but he could still improve to a challenging mark come Ascot. He should have the Palace House or Temple Stakes in mind for the build up. Quipemeposted

  • Maybe Frankel does get hit with the whip but Frankel dominated this race from start to finish whereas black caviar gets the run of the race with all the rival jockeys backing off behind her. BC won't even get 1400m in the UK so stop thinking they will race each other.

  • Caviar will kill this thing, watch all her races she never ever even gets touched. the jock is hands and heels the whole way. yet this thing is having the shit kicked out of it and really slowing up towards the end. Frankel will get done no problems

  • @chubbz92 Black Caviar's owner would never allow it to race Frankel. He knows what would happen *grins*

  • @chubbz92 If Black Caviar went anywhere near Frankel at 7 furlongs or 8 furlongs she'd be tasting defeat for the first time. Your clearly some mug from Australia were its a known fact that Australian Racing is the equivelent of a selling plater in England. Its mediocre at best hence the reason Black Caviar as ran this record up. She'll be defeated this year, Whereas Frankel won't and he'll go on to enhance his reputation as the best in the world. He is a freak...

    Frankel 136

    Black Caviar 132

  • @chubbz92 The Newmarket Rowley Mile is a one of the most gruelling tracks in the world for Frankel to be running sub 11's on this track is unpresidented. Black Caviar wouldn't know what day it is on a undulating track like this. You better hope they don't take him on over a mile he'd tear her a new arsehole

  • @ASupremeOwl She is not a miler so go to hell with your arrogance. If its a staying contest of course this will not suit BC. For pure speed there is not a horse quicker on the planet, the times don't lie and nothing comes close. To say that she will be defeated this year without even knowing who she will take on or over what distance just sums up your pathetic argument. Please open a betfair account and lay her every start, you will be crushed like you deserve to be

  • ha ha ha ha let the crushing begin.

  • They'll never face each other cause he's going a mile and further and her trainer wants no further than 6 furlongs over here in the U.K. If for some miracle Frankel did go drop back to 6f (a distance he never raced over, even as a 2yo) he'd leave her for dead. She's another Zenyatta, stay at home and when a horse with a bit of speed and class turns up (Blame), she'll get stuffed.

Sorry guys, I know it's hard to hear but it'll happen. She's still very good so just enjoy that.

  • @144murfs over 1400

  • if they met, itwould surely be one of the great match races. up their with war admiral/sea biscuit. maybe better. imagine what that race could produce. i have my opinion (BCav) as we all do, but yeah lets lap this up while we can!!!!

  • Well said Darleyarabian.

You can wait decades to see freakish horses like these. Who cares who would win. It would be a great race over the mile, and you wouldn't take anything away from the loser.

Why don't we all just stand and applaud two of natures miracles.

  • everyone stop arguing theyre both awesome just be thankful that we have them both for another year. its never gonna happen a race between them so get over it everyone. its obvious that black caviar is a beta 5-7f horse and frankel is a beta 8-10f horse. imo both horses still need to prove themselves on the world stage, which iv no doubt black caviar will at ascot and frankel will at santa anita in the breeders cup.lets just stop bickering and enjoy them both for the amazing animals they are.

  • @TheDarleyarabian Frankel has beat the best milers in the world. Black caviar hasn't beat the best 5-6f horses. That's the difference.

  • black caviar will NOT beat frankel , the weights show it , the rating show it and the ability shows it . frankel has beaten the worlds finest , BC hasnt , watch him come over here and lose , then the pages and pages of excuses

  • @fozzyfisherman Thank you. I don't think she'll beat the top U.S or Dubai sprinters. I don't think she'll beat Deacon Blues. People are getting way to excited.

  • @lecornu1982 Please offer us even money on betfair when she comes over if you don't believe the hype. She ran home last 600m in 31.82 yesterday. There is not a horse on the planet that could match that sectional and this is after backing up from a week earlier and dropping back 400m in distance. Hay list who ran 2nd to her is a brilliant sprinter and if decides to come to royal ascot with her will be a certain quinella.Forget Frankel comparisons, they are both champions over different distances

  • @lecornu1982 ur bang on mate , its just like so you think , everyone got excited then he got beaten by a rewilding at 14/1

  • @fozzyfisherman

Its a she you cocksucker, clearly you know fuck all

  • @chubbz92 fuck off you dick , you know what i meant , you clearly know fuck al yourself if you think frankel would get beaten

  • Also i think its pathetic how she has to travel to face this no hoper shouldnt he be coming here consdiering she is the best in the world ? meh i can't wait to see her kick this kids ass over his own country GO BLACK CAVIAR :)

  • Haha i find this extremley funny how people are saying how good Frankel is yet HE is the one facing shit cunts , not one horse their is a great horse all duds and did any notice how he runs out of steam? he was blazing then when it got to the end the 2nd and 3rd place started to catch up on him and his jockey was forced to use the whip , Black Caviar never gets whipped she is only in 80% and she still wins by 5-6 lengths , no contest Caviar will murder this kid ,

  • Hahaha Black Caviar would have turned to the jockey and said " whats this?" when he used the whip. Never been needed and never will be needed. All you weak goats hopwabout you come over to Australia and have a crack on our terms other than needing every little advantage possible.

  • @blowesy23 theres no doubt BC is a good horse, but it races against nothing, look at the group/grade 1 winners Frankel has destroyed.

  • @SugarRay1985 not 1 horse black caviar has faced, has not been a g1 winner or placed horse! not 1 of them have not been a stakes winner or placer! get your facts right idiot!

  • BC won at MV on Friday night by 4 lengths but look at Zedi Knight who came 2nd in the race had previously come 6th in a handicap. Not only that BC sits just off the speed so can just cruise to the lead where as Frankel as seen here and in the Sussex Stakes dictates the race and makes everything come off the bridle at the 3

  • Fuck black caviar, big bucks is the number one racehorse in the world 15 straight wins over hurdles and beating the best around by far. Unlike BC who races nobody's .

  • woah you guys have weird racing angles.

  • Spursrule you are right and everybody else who disagrees is wrong!! How People can say he's beat nothing is beyond me! Just goes to show people will pick away at anything no matter how good it is!! What did shergar beat and how many times did he lose??? The horse has never lost a race and will go down in my opinion as the best ever!!! Up the spurs champions league again!! Haha arsenal!!!

  • Lazerus121 what are you going on about??? How can you say a weak year for 3yo's??? This horse wasn't taken on at any point and won as he liked!!! He easily beat what was considered one of the best milers of all time in canford cliffs a 4yo at the time who had beaten one of the greatest horses of all time in goldikova on its previous race both multiple group one winners and older than frankel!! He also beat another fantastic 3yo in nathaniel who went on to group one success against older horses

  • At the end of the day in his career he's beaten Nathaniel(KG winner), Canford Cliffs (won 5 straight Group 1 races) Dream Ahead(Champion sprinter), Excelebration(if it wasn't for Frankel how high would he be rated?) Immortal Verse(beat Goldikova fair and square) That's a pretty good bunch of horses and MOST importantly he hasn't ducked anyone.

  • The 5 dislikes are all Black Caviar fans. Aussie muppets../

  • @ASupremeOwl aaaaa

  • @ZeroPointEnergyField

Iam an Aussie and a Black Caviar fan. Just wait and see come Royal Ascot this year. Black Caviar will beat Frankel by a lap.

  • iv seen this race 50 times an i never get bored of it. what a performance!!! backed him at betfred they were giving 5-2 on him winning by 2 lengths or more. suckers!!! £50 on that mr betfred nice one easiest money ever made. next year will be harder 4 him tho if he steps up to 10f or 12f which i think he can. im getting goosebumps already will soon be may an can watch him again.

  • still an unbelievable horse tho

  • it looks alot better than what it is, his time wasnt spectacular it was good, it just goes to show how weak the 3yo were that season,

  • @lazerus121 You have to remember it's early into the season, The 2000 guineas doesn't usually have fast time due to the ground not being firm in Apr/May, He ran a 1.37.30, The fastest guineas i know of was the 1994 win by Mister Baileys 1.35.08. when judging a horse all you can really do is judge how easily he won and how good where the horses behind him.

  • This is just amazing, unbelievable horse

  • 5 people backed Dettori

  • Just out of interest, regarding the line in commentary "Frankel is 15 lengths clear!" I noted Frankel had a lead of approx 2 seconds over his nearest rival. Comparing this to Frankel's 5l Sussex win over Canford Cliffs, where he finished 0.8 secs ahead this would suggest Frankel's lead in the guineas was in fact about 12 lengths.

  • i never get tired of watching this

  • How can you dislike this video? Absolute bellends!

  • What a magnificent horse. That was mind-blowing.

  • Unbelievable! The best one, even better than Dubai Millenium.

  • its the reincarnation of gallieo

  • With the likelihood of Frankel going up in distance next year, what are the chances of him running the Arc?

  • If Frankel took off like he did in this race on Black Caviar, there's no was in hell she'd run him down. At any distance. He just has freakish ability. I've seen a lot of comments saying that Frankel is a better horse than Sea The Stars was? Difficult to gauge the two, because Frankel hasn't raced beyond a mile yet, and STS won G1 races from a mile to 12f. But I will say this, I believe STS would've hated to run into this horse at a mile. He's lucky Frankel wasn't in his 2000 Guineas. JMO.

  • @GBeret83 Can't see this bloke beating her at a shot course mate. Not that either of us will ever find out anyway. Tend to agree that if he did this to her over a mile and made it a real test, he would probably put her to the sword. She would be able to camp on this sort of speed easily over 6f or shorter and her maximum speed is pretty much unheard of.

  • @GBeret83 *short

  • There was always a lot of talk about how good Frankel was during his 2yr.old season, and even then you could tell this horse had a scary level of ability. But I think this race was, without question, the day that Frankel came out and announced to the world that the hype surrounding him was much more than talk. He made a field full of talented 3yr.old's in their own right look absolutely average at best in this race. He'll continue to win in 2012, even if he's stretched out beyond a mile, IMO.

  • the thing i dont like is in the last 100 or so metres is th jockey whips him clearly this horse is good enough without being whipped

luke nolan i have never even see pick up the whip on black caviar here in aus you all say this horse is fantastic bring him here id like to see him and bc make a go of it might make her races more interesting since any decent horse in aus is to scared to race her

  • This alone earned him being called best racehorse in the world. All his other wins were just for show. Not knocking them the though. He won the St.J from 4 furlongs out by forcing the others to use all their energy too early. Won the Sussex in probably his easiest win this season and he used his high pace to crush their stamina by 2 furlongs out. Allready baged horse of the year and best horse in the world all there is to do now is sit back and add another 5 Group 1's to his tally next year.

  • @CharlesOlney23 Charlie, there are a lot of features of Frankel's performances that underline his exceptional talent as a miler, but he still has much to prove. This Guineas field he beat in one of the slowest times recorded in recent years was of very poor quality. Not one of them went on to be competitive in open class races. Native Khan ran a good Derby (12f), a couple picked up weak group races, but overall they do not bear comparison with the best years.

  • @SvendBosanvovski yes but i dont know many horses that could run the first 5 furlongs of this race faster than Tangerine Trees won the PH. Not a great field but the second has quality. But you cant say this was a very poor guineas because it did have Frankel in it. I cant name any race that hasn't suggested he isn't a brilliant horse.

  • @CharlesOlney23 Yes, he certainly turned on the pace early, Charlie. Next year, when he steps up to 10f, or even longer if he comes through the test, should be very exciting. If he were to win the Arc and the Champion Stakes, go to the US and win the BC Classic or even The Japan Cup ot World Cup - two richest races - he will will have erarned his place in the Pantheon of the greatest ever.

  • @SvendBosanvovski He hasn't earned a place in my top 5 of all time yet but he could next year. The likely route is Lockinge, Prince Of Wales, Eclipse, Juddmonte and Champion. But I don't think he has to win abroad. He wont get 1m4f, unfortunately the WC is in March and is a mickey mouse race and the BC is on dirt. But if he wins all those British races races next year then I dont see why he cant climb to a 146 Timeform rating.

  • @CharlesOlney23 To be honest, Charlie, I don't place a lot of stock in Timeform ratings. The IFHA is the proper authority when it comes to interational comparison. Its Grading Committe is constituted by the official handicappers from the 16 top racing nations, drawing upon the vast resources and unequalled expertise of the various clubs operating in their centres. Timeform & RacingPost have great expertise with your domestic racing.

  • @SvendBosanvovski i agree, in my life i have never used timeform. i was just using it to say that frankel could become the best ever as timeform have sea bird as the best at 145.

  • Comment removed

  • @SvendBosanvovski You're the first person I've ever 'known' other than me to talk such calm, measured sense about the ratings system. Timeform : who "are" they exactly? Punters/Journos based in Halifax(?!) who talk as much tripe as they do sense. 100% agree with you! It's bemusing to me why so many people follow them like sheep.

  • @sleeplessinsale The ratings are there for anyone to check. Timeform has become the marketing arm of UK racing, and its quite dangerous for the British punter. If you follow Timeform in the upcoming Hong Kong International Series, the other nations won't win a race. Sound familiar. The Breeders Cup turf trophies were suppose to all go to the UK/Europe contingent. Well, we know how that played out. They are not sending their second stringers to Honkers, so lets see.

  • @SvendBosanvovski Exactly. Timeform are merely glorified punters. They've obviously done some clever self-marketing to get a following for their opinions, as baseless as they may be. :)

  • @sleeplessinsale Well, they've made a very good job of it, especially since they've been operational since 1948. Timeform's exhaustive and wholly unbiased process of collating form is second to none. They don't give a monkeys where a horse is trained. The fact Frankel is the top rated horse in the world at the current time is because he has the best form lines. Timeform are an independent organistion based in Halifax, Yorkshire. How is Timeform dangerous for the British punter. Svendy talks shit

  • I doubt he would destroy her but he may beat her. So far she hasn't had to extend herself so we don't actually know what she is capable of. Bring Frankel here and he can race her together with Sepoy and Atlantic Jewel. If he is so good then the travelling shouldn't matter.

  • black caviar would give him a cold when she flies past him, black caviar is the best horse in the world

  • How can anybody dislike this video?? They obviously cannot be race horse fans. One of the greatest demolition races you will ever see in a classic. Enjoy the race and the horse

  • I laid Frankel in this race.

    I soon learned my lesson.

  • No doubt about it... Black Caviar is a VERY impressive horse having seen most of her wins on youtube, fingers crossed she'll be at Ascot next year... And in an ideal world will line up against Frankel there... Where Frankel will destroy her as he has any horse that he comes up against.

Usain Bolt came along... Just as Frankel has... both the greatest at what they do.

Frankel is a better horse than The Brigadier just like Usain Bolt is faster than Jesse Owens.

    Frankel will retire 17 undefeated.

  • I'd love to see Frankel meet Black Caviar. The thing is Black Caviar needs to prove herself over further to be even mentioned in the same breath as Frankel. After watching Frankel tear away in the Guineas I think a drop back in trip to 6f wouldn't bother him. Richard Hannon said the Darley July Cup was tailor made for him. Aswell as that he can win at 7f and 8f and have good horses off the bridle from a way out. Just a freak of nature...

  • @ASupremeOwl I'd love to see Cecil put him in the July Cup against her. That is the only way we will find out if you're right. She will keep on destroying as will he.

  • iv gotta say .. i bet you couldnt imagine the odds on frankel in the "run in" hahaha would have been 1/1000

  • fantastic horse

  • Dream Ahead beat Star Witness same length than BC but I guess they were at levels.

  • @drofheim Black Caviar was carrying 2 kilos over WFA when beating Star Witness in the Newmarket and ran the 2nd fastest time in history.

  • Aussie horses tend to better at the 5f over here, once they move up they usually meet there matches, Frankel will race Lockinge Stakes next.

  • "BC just beats rubbish all the time (Aussie horses are rubbish). That mare needs to come over to Europe then we can see how good she is, forget about her winning 14 wins, she beats the same old rubbish all teh time."

Star Witness finished 1.75 lengths of Society Rocks and 0.5 lengths off Prohibit this season. BC has beat him 4, 4 and 7. She'll win at Ascot by a distance next season. Starspangledbanner, Scenic Blast, Take Over Target, all rubbish Oz horses that have come over for the sprints

  • Black Caviar does that every ride and doesn't need to be whipped 300m out to keep going.

  • @jsham23 BC doesn't do anything like this. This performance is comparable to some greats like Brig Gerard and Secretariat.

BC just beats rubbish all the time (Aussie horses are rubbish). That mare needs to come over to Europe then we can see how good she is, forget about her winning 14 wins, she beats the same old rubbish all teh time.

  • @HadleyReisMC Black Caviar is possibly the best sprinter thats ever raced. Anyone who thinks she isn't magnificent know nothing at all about the sport. She would annihilate anything in Europe with the possible exception of Frankel. Still, if Frankel met her on her terms (ie 5-6f) he would get his doors blown off. A race between the 2 at 6f-8f would be a real contest.

  • @schardy80 the fact is my friend that in a handicap she would receive lots of weight from frankel who is rated significantly superior by experts. On level terms the best colt in the world would comfortably beat her at anything over 6 furlongs and probably beat her at 6. He beat arguably the best filly in Europe by 8 lengths today.

  • @schardy80 Frankel is not a sprinter. Frankel is a miler. Black Caviar is a sprinter. Black Caviar is not a miler.

Never the twain shall meet. If they deed meet over 7 furlongs, anyone who knows anything about racing will tell you that this distance inconveniences the sprinter more than it does the miler. At seven furlongs, Frankel would blow Black Cavier's doors, not only off, but to smithereens. O

  • @schardy80 She doesn't beat Frankel mate, she just doesn't. He's a machine, a total freak of a horse. I haven't seen anything like him in my 30 years of watching racing.

  • @watchinginawe I am not questioning Frankels greatness. He is one of the absolute champions of history no doubt. I can tell you I have never seen anything like BC either. It seems so unlikely to have 2 such supreme champions racing at the same time. I still maintain that at 6f and under BC is the greatest theres ever been. Frankel may well be the best miler of all time.

  • @schardy80 Black Caviar gets outpaced by Haylist everytime they meet, She only manages to overhaul most times in the last 2 furlongs. She'd need to be something special to compete with Frankel over 6f look at the Guineas for example he tore away and had the rest off the bridle by 3 furlongs hes a sprinter, miler, stayer all in one. I'd be confident backing Frankel over 6f, 7f, 8f if he met Black Caviar. An Australian Zenyatta IMO

  • @ASupremeOwl Come on......you don't seriously think Black Caviar isn't something special! She ran the 2nd fastest Newmarket in history with 58kg and did it eased down in 1.07. Nothing has enough speed to beat her at a short course. As for Hay List, he is a dront runner and she sits back and stalks him. Her sectional times tell the tale. She runs low 10s per furlong in training.....Frankels great but as a sprinter he would be struggling to cope with her turn of foot.

  • @schardy80 How anyone can say "Frankel would be struggling with HER turn of foot...." just beggars belief.

  • @Nautilus1972 Simple really, look at the times she can run at a sprint course without being extended. He is an all time great miler, not arguing that, but she is possibly the best sprinter ever and yes he would be stuggling to keep up over a short course. I am emphatically saying that she is better than anything he has met so far, pity they will never meet.

  • @schardy80 HAs BC beaten the pants off gr.1 winners every time she has run? Has she beaten the best of Europe yet? Until the answer is yes, she can only be called the best Australian sprinter. For greatest ever status, she has to do that combined with breaking track records in Europe where previous champions have raced. Simple.

  • @Nautilus1972 She will romp the Euro sprints of that there is little doubt, but yes she has to tick that box off. She doesn't have to break track records to be the greatest ever, that is nonsense. Pretty sure Sea Bird never broke a track record, in fact his Arc was quite slow. Has Frankel broken any track records yet? She has run 1.07 for 6f at Flemington under a record weight and won idling the final furlong. If she has to break the record she will.

  • @Nautilus1972 awkward moment when she has beaten the pants off every group one race, she is not a go to the front horse she races behind the leader usually then the last 100 or so meters she is allowed to extend and manages to beat them by a couple of lengths each time, but it is silly to compare a miler and a sprinter although peter moody seems to be slowly increasing her distance

she hasnt beaten the best of europe because shes not there?

  • @ASupremeOwl what a load of cod. Black Caviar had no problem keeping pace with Hay List in the Patinack last year or the Lightning... Both G1's. The fact is BC is a true sprinter whereas Frankel is a sprinter/miler. How you can say Frankel's at all a stayer when he's never run further than a mile is another load of cod. 6f BC just wins. 7 who knows. 8 Frankel just wins.

  • @schardy80 And if she met Frankel over a mile, he would do the same. What's the point in comparing them?! People who compare sprinters with milers equally know nothing about the sport.

  • @HadleyReisMC Aussie horses seem to do pretty well over there? Star Spangled, Takeover Target, Choiser, Scenic Blast. Of the horses we've sent to Ascot in recent times, more have won than not. Aussies have a problem developing stayers yes but our sprinters/middle distance horses are some the best in the world.

  • @jsham23 That's because she has stopped running 100m earlier on account of the fact that her trainer knows she can't run any further.

  • Black Caviar would destroy Frankel. Wait till the mighty mare from down under arrives at Heathrow!

  • @sammyg2222 .... Seriously.... get a grip love!

  • @sammyg2222 no horses can compete with the europeans id like to see it but ... this horse is a machine .. but i really do think it can be beat .. has come close a few imes but always delievers and u cant do anymore than that

  • Comment removed

  • The commentator in question is BBC's Ian Bartlett. A classic race to behold.

  • this horse reminded me of secratariet when he won the triple crown. he ran the same way frankel did :)

  • il finally get to see him in the flesh at ascot next saturday, what a privilege!

  • strong -- too

  • quite simply unbeatable! even with tom queally on board! watch out for noble mission his Full brother who debuts this month! 28/1 to win the guineas next year! if hes half as good as frankel they can give him the trophy now

  • @tommytheblue9 lol @ even with Tom Queally on board........that's the same Tom Queally yet to lose on the horse is it? :)

  • Another great commentery is Long Runs win in the 2011 Gold Cup."A whos who of gold cup winners" fantastic race.

  • I don't know how anyone can knock Frankel he is an amazing horse imo Im 25 so I can only count recent history but he's the best horse I've seen. I don't rate Queally too much but his ride when he beat Canford was spot on did give him a bad ride at Ascot though.

  • This guy is easy meat to get shot down like Sea Moon. Don't believe the hype he's not unbeatable and money can be made as long as he's in a race. Watch the ground and the entries

  • You want to listen to fantastic commentary? Watch Sea the Stars video from the Arc - best commentary I've heard. Poetic at the end.

  • looks like 3 people had their money on dubawi gold

  • @ThomasWaters91 lol great stuff

  • queally said frankels was going so fast last time out he genuinly got scared on top of him

  • The commentary on this is absolutely perfect. As the race unfolds the guy gets more and more bemused and amazed. The line - "frankel is 15 lengths clear" is said with complete astonishment. To reduce a commentator who has seen thousands of races and horses, over the many years, to complete bewilderment says it all about the horse and the performance. It was a privelege to be there.

  • @Pactrolus great comment, Pactrolus

  • Honestly believe Frankel would be so much better if Quielly wasn't riding him. Nearly lost it at Ascot by losing his composure

  • @willrooney1994 Tom Queally has not done Frankel a loss. Richard Hughes dropped a clanger on Dubawi Gold in the Irish 1,000 Guinees. And is he a poor Jockey.

  • @TheKautostar1 i could win with Frankel you absolute idiot. Queally panics with Frankel and every other horse.

  • Good performance but didn't beat much on the day. It was an ordinary field and its too easy to get wrapped up in the hype. Why is he being kept sheltered and not going for the mega prizes if he's the wonder horse. Time will tell

  • @tamaria6564 Frankel as beaten everything put in front of him with ease. His Guinea's field possessed G1 winning Colts at 2 and 3 so its unfair to say it was a poor field, It wasn't the greatest ever assembled but how many Colts have you see win a Guineas like that? He beat Canford Cliffs the best miler in the world at Goodwood with ease aswell, Im not buying Canford Cliffs was injured thats just Coolmore trying to protect there investment. And to say he isn't going for the big prizes...

  • @tamaria6564 is laughable. Hes clearing the mile division as a 3 year old and will more than likely be stepped up to 10f as a 4 year old where he will have an array of races to be aimed at. The hype of Frankel as dissapeared, Hes had doubters from day one and hes blown them all out of the water race by race, What does he have to do to get the praise he deserves? Win a mile and half handicap giving 90 stone all round? Jesus. When a trainer of Henry Cecil's expierience and knowledge claims...

  • @tamaria6564 Frankel is the best he's seen you listen. Hes not one to make outlandish comments like that about any horse including his own. I've been watching racing since the days of Dancing Brave and theres only been few horses since that have giving the same feeling of astonishment as a race as unfolded the way they travel through a race and change gear with utter ease and Frankel is one of them. Just enjoy this Colt as they don't come around very often...

  • @ASupremeOwl Nicely put.

  • I think it's fair to say that so far this season we've not seen a race run to show Frankel at his very best: none of the four has been perfectly set up for him, for all kinds of reasons. Which rather suggests he's pretty good. Equally, it's fair to say that he's not beaten anything really special (Canford Cliffs was below par in the Sussex, sadly). Unfortunately, he may not come up against another 130+ horse, whereas the other greats did. That's not to deny he's up there with them.

  • he did 11 seconds a furlong for the 1st half mile here and did the same 44 seconds for the last half mile in the sussex

  • All you can say is incredible what a horse

  • Don tget me wrong im a 100% fan of FRANKEL...After i saw him race last year for the 1st time and may of SHOOT myself if CANFORD CLIFFS had beaten him ..

Hope FRANKEL comes back next year and win,s at a mile and a quarter and remains unbeaten and go to win the breaders cup classic.

Hats off to Sir Henery and Prince Khaled .........

  • I don't know if any horse could have beaten him on this day.

  • Frankel is the best I've seen in a very long time. He's a true freak and his stride is devastating. I agree with the commentator, this is a horse of a lifetime and I hope he will reconsider a trip to Churchill in November.

  • He tends to fade a lot during the latter stages of the race, perhaps a horse could beat him at this.

  • @Brainyy297 you havin a laf

  • @remitablechair Look at his last three races then you'll see what i mean about fading, perhaps a horse beating him is a bit silly.

  • @Brainyy297 The only time he faded in his races was when Tom pushed him 4 out at Ascot (a ridiculous move and a mistake Tom will not make again). Yet, Frankel still won. You can see now how much he has matured since his earlier races. He settles more now and his gallop is more Fierce. I am in Awe and I think we are going to see even better from him in his races :-)

  • @TheRedRummy His gallop is more fierce?? It doesn't get much more brutal than this! Possibly the best stride I've seen on a racehorse. His rhythm is just incredible.

I agree with you that he has a couple of chinks in his armour. If he's not ridden the right way he can be vulnerable, like any other horse. But his natural gifts are extraordinary.

  • what a horse a privilege to see this horse running could he be as good as the Brigadier, or Nijinsky, only time will tell

  • Superstar...

  • Fair pony

  • to all the replies ive had under this video over the last couple of months to my comments of praise for frankel, for those of you who criticized him, im just delighted frankel did all the talking for me today, ha

  • What is that?O_o

  • Why does RacingUK report people for copyright??? I thought videos posted on youtube where freely available for any one to watch and post etc??? Seems a bit petty really when you think about it?

    Frankel rules the Turf!

  • Desert orchid was the best horse ever

  • @rankingjohnmajor Desert Orchid was a steeplechaser, not much to do with this really, maybe this comment would have been better suited to perhaps a vid about Kauto Star. I will tell you one thing, I've saw some of the great Milers....but this fella tops the lot !

  • unbelievable. machine

  • Brilliant, a machine!

  • Taking the p of canford in the sussex, what a horse

  • the best horse the last 3 years in u.k

  • Not long until Frankel v Canford Cliffs, can't wait.

If Frankel is anywhere near as good as Canford Cliffs he should win today with the weight advantage.
