IDS is not worthy to be the First Placer of the 2007 Dunkin Donuts Cheerdance Competition. It should really be ICEHS-Kiwalan. Any judge with a real credibility on cheerdancing will agree to me. It's just that one of the minor sponsors had a daughter before who studied at IDS.
even if all that you say is true, which i highly doubt that, you can't change the "hard" fact that they are the CHAMPIONS for this year. If you were able to watch, which i think you have, they were able to best each and every participant with their performance this year, it wasn't perfect but it was the real deal.

im sorry for having said that but even i found kiwalan's performance, if only they were hyped as much as tominobo was before, they might have got the competition but the thing was they didnt this year, maybe next year though..i mean with all due respect to kiwalan, they've got what it takes but it just didnt make the cut yet but im sure as i stand they might give ids a run for their money next year.

schools around the world,when they participate cheerleading/cheerdance competitions representing their schools,MOSTLY CHOOSE the COLOR of their school (logo,etc) or colors RELATED sa school nila for their costumes..

IDS did a great job...its so fantastic and the dancers have very nice lines....do they have proper trainings?it seems that they have all gone through technique classes....its not about winning its about the technique...look at tomas correct me if i'm wrong,they could fly,well i was like wow! but the lines are too bad,they have to get dance teachers from ballet Philippines ok! but congratulations for the both teams,they really caught my attention. hehehe!

whatever standards or rule book u got there from the US, it's not applicable coz there is no governing body who would rule out something is wrong with the routine or not or even a stunt...at least u know the basics but it won't matter. I think the CHEERDANCE SCENE IN THE COUNTRY IS RELATIVELY YOUNG... we still need to build a good foundation for a governing body to sprout.
yeah.i agree.i have to give you FIVE for that.that is why (from wat ive overheard)..the PALAKASAN 2008 will introduce a technical judge, that wud be a fresh start for Iligan's legendary and hidden skill in cheerdancing.lets just pray that it'll be pushed.and pray even better that Dunkin will do the same next year.
The Integrated Developmental School should have won, if the Tomas Cabili doesn't have such stunts. Tomas Cabili's cheerdance is excellent anyaway, it doesn't matter if they copied it. It's not just them who are copying. =D
all of those teams are a bunch of copies. same goes with IDS who copied the UP pep squad with their routines...huhummmm...i think all of you are senseless on knowing who's the original or not. Not even the all stars in the US are originals!
however, i have to clear it out that the word "copy" from the UP Pep doesnt seem appropriatte from the last season's performances..and IDS Hornet(former captain) is now a member of the UP pep..she taught us those dances and skills..but we realized that it cud bring bad image to the squad..that is why we completely changed the whole routine within 4 weeks to clear that out.we tried our best to pass with those comments (copying from UP Pep) and the least you can do is appreciatte..thank you.

IDS did a great job...its so fantastic and the dancers have very nice lines....do they have proper trainings?it seems that they have all gone through technique classes....its not about winning its about the technique...look at tomas correct me if i'm wrong,they could fly,well i was like wow! but the lines are too bad,they have to get dance teachers from ballet Philippines ok! but congratulations for the both teams,they really caught my attention. hehehe!

iligan has a high level of competition...these are high school students of a supposed poor country in South East Asia. nevermind if they copied some of their moves...we all need to start somewhere. filipinos should smile cos this is happening outside metro manila

you know what guys.. IDS never did anything provoking to you.. we never did things that might be a start of this nonsense.. We are just here to perform.. the advantage is that.. through our practices.. we learn many moral values.. even we dont win.. we still have things that could say.. WE WON.. and thats why IDS HORNETS.. could never be defined..

whatever standards or rule book u got there from the US, it's not applicable coz there is no governing body who would rule out something is wrong with the routine or not or even a stunt...at least u know the basics but it won't matter. I think the CHEERDANCE SCENE IN THE COUNTRY IS RELATIVELY YOUNG... we still need to build a good foundation for a governing body to sprout.

yeah.i agree.i have to give you FIVE for that.that is why (from wat ive overheard)..the PALAKASAN 2008 will introduce a technical judge, that wud be a fresh start for Iligan's legendary and hidden skill in cheerdancing.lets just pray that it'll be pushed.and pray even better that Dunkin will do the same next year.

The Integrated Developmental School should have won, if the Tomas Cabili doesn't have such stunts. Tomas Cabili's cheerdance is excellent anyaway, it doesn't matter if they copied it. It's not just them who are copying. =D

all of those teams are a bunch of copies. same goes with IDS who copied the UP pep squad with their routines...huhummmm...i think all of you are senseless on knowing who's the original or not. Not even the all stars in the US are originals!

however, i have to clear it out that the word "copy" from the UP Pep doesnt seem appropriatte from the last season's performances..and IDS Hornet(former captain) is now a member of the UP pep..she taught us those dances and skills..but we realized that it cud bring bad image to the squad..that is why we completely changed the whole routine within 4 weeks to clear that out.we tried our best to pass with those comments (copying from UP Pep) and the least you can do is appreciatte..thank you.

actually i think they know the standards.i am a friend of one of the coaches of IDS & they have a rulebook bought by the former coach IDS which was Mrs. Noval.kung posture lng naman ang basihan,im pretty sure these guys have it.nahulog nga lng coz of the flyer's unintentional gesture.nyway, they proved that they can toss naman db? watch 3:06, the girl who did a toe touch on air was the same girl who fell.i am sure.

i agree.only a few of us here knows wat the rulebook says,but i think we can handle it. problem nga lang if the team can handle the skeds. im sure, after tomas' victory, dghan mag-invite sa ila muperform. IDS as well have a lot of exams to face by next year. peru salamat au sa info.we really appreciatte it.i hope this is the end of ILIGAN-CDO "away".
