BMW e30 M3 with 340hp M5 eng., Alpina B6 3,5, stock e30 M3

My daily driver is E46 328i and E30 325i weekends. 325i is more responsive with Signature Motoring performance (CAI) intake kit. Installed it myself in under

half hour. HP increase on the 325i is about 9.5HP for a cost of $170 or around $19 per HP gain. Best 1st performance mod to do. Other application data:

E30 series: 6.0-13.4hp gain

E36 series: 5.5-12hp gain

E46 series: 6.0-13.9hp gain

E92 series: 8.5+ hp gain

Z3/Z4 (all): 5.5-13.9hp gain

Aside from the power gain, the SOUND is amazing at higher RPM but sounds normal in regular driving. I’m thinking about added high-flow exhaust next.

I did at one time. I now have a 1999 323 ic, which is nice, certainly no M3, but still cool by me. I also have a 1967 Plymouth Belvedere with a pretty sick powertrain I built. I'd never do donuts though. Just thinking of uncovering the oil pump pickup doing donuts makes me shiver. Donuts are stupid.

it's a 3,5 (m30 B35 engine). They usually fit in 535 and 735i, but alpina fitted them in e30. this one is approx. 270HP but the most powerful Alpina 3,5l are 330HP but they doesn't exist in e30, except with users' swap.
