@ArmezhiaTakashi actually, im hungarian. just took a liking to animes a few years ago, which are japanese in origin and most english dubs being lame, or not available at all. so as i kinda like how japanese sounds and since i already got my english close to native level, i decided to start learnig japanese with the same method. by watching stuff that i like in that language. AKA just like a child learns their first language. learning kana was easy.. my problem is with the kanji. ^^

Kurenai Misuzu: the "kun" pronunciation of her kanji, using native Japanese vocabulary

Hong Meiling (Hon Meirin in the Japanese accent): the "on", or Chinese, pronunciation of her kanji ( Even 1000 years ago Japan just took about half of their vocabulary from somebody else's language)

In the fan world, Japanese fans were debating over the kun and on pronunciations, so somebody had an idea of intervening with Chuugoku, that is, China.
