This headset is S@#T the skin on the head set ear muffs begins peeling in weeks if you use them a lot. Pay for the packaging it works like a good storage unit. Other than that, waste of money

if you want a real good headphone go with beyerdynamics dt 880. can't go wrong

have bass, very detailed sound, huge soundstage, hear everything and its also great for music and movies

the pc350 is a headset for pros, the logitech is for 15 year olds with no taste or care, they just like the "look" and so called surround sound which works only 60% of the time,

go for this, the logitech is good but this company are the BEST, every reviewer comments on this companys headphones, not one has ever commented on there headphones being adequate, there always the best end of, plus this company only relese headphones once a year, alot of work goes into them

Help i see in the spec of this headset that its impedance is 150 which is higher than the impedance which usually gives the soundcards(26-32)

I want use this headset with a generic onboard soundcard, how is it gonna listen? How is gonna be the bass reproduction?

For me it's important they'll sound good because i play tournament of cs 1.6 and things like that ... i need it for gaming.

PC350 for life! Sleek, robust, great for gaming and good for music. Sounds better than the G35 and Megalodon.

The mic is better than the G35 and miles better compared to the Megalodon.

Only problem.

To get the best sound; you need a Soundcard. Any type will be fine. Onboard may not signal the Mic loud enough. Mine is fine. :D

if it was called the PC360 it would've given the idea. Although for the xbox 360 I'd suggest the Turtle Beach X1, apparently they're very good and they're compatible with pc too.

Megalodon is shit. It's only feature is 7.1, but what that maelstorm thingy can, is also possible with every good soundcard. And a X-Fi card + Carcharias is cheaper than the Megalodon, so the Meg is a total fail already. Now you've decided you're not going with a 7.1 headset, you need a good 2.0 headset. And these are one of the best on the market.

by far this headset. In the end dont just go buy what peeps tell u, listen to them & what u play. What sounds best to u might not sound good to some1 else. Ive worked in the audio industry & have always told customers that, go with what u know u'll be happy with. Also dont get any pair of SS (5.1+) headphones. They dont have the separation distance from each driver to create a real surround effect. Do a test in a game & see how many times u can guess where the sound came from (bullets).

In my opinion, you can use the in-game settings to create a superbe sound captioning. And a 5.1 headset will not necessarily give you as good quality when listening to music, if it is a "gaming" headset.

Well, I'm in college at the moment so it will probably be 1-2 years. I just bought this new laptop recently, its one of the new ASUS G50 series. I play pretty much everything, but mainly first person shooters. Battlefield 2, Battlefield 2142, COD4, COD5, L4D, Crysis, etc. I was orginally going to go for the pc 166, however, I really would prefer the circumaural design. It's dropped from $250 to $140 in the past few months at amazon, which is only $40 more than the 166.

I've got a quick question for you guys....I'm a hardcore gamer but right now I'm just playing on my gaming laptop. I love the fact that these are sennheiser, circumaural, and that they have an excellent mic (which I use a ton). I know I wouldn't do these justice with my onboard laptop sound, but would they still perform very well until my next new rig I build?

I have never had the pc350.

But i can say from experience, do not waste your money on SS 5Hv2. The steelsound headphones are comfortable, and have a great sound quality. But the mic broke on me 5 times, i sent them back each time to get it fix'd. THe mic broke for the 6th time, and they took the sound quality with it..and now I am offically angery at fucking steelsound. They are not worth your time, or money.
