I'm doing a second run of this, stuck on this guy again, how exactly do you get him to stop and run towards the wall? He just keeps going in circles until he hits me or something.

@SkellionPowalskiz Well I know how it works but I'm sorry, I have no idea how to explain it... When he's flying you somehow have to make him move into the center of the room when he comes from the right. I'm really sorry if you don't understand, I can't describe it much better xD

@bowserknight It's fine, I actually got him like ten minutes after I posted this, he's actually pretty easy if you can control him right. But yeah, if you get him in the center of the screen and stand on the ground, he usually starts drifting towards the left slowly, but it's a little random when you're trying to stay alive.

Respond to this video... In order to get the energy tank.Right before going through small tunnel lay down a power bomb to unveal secret passage.Or when your falling through quickly change into regular form and grab the edge and climb up and grab energy tank. Thumbs up so people can see.

I'm trying it, and just a hair away from pulling my own hair out.

I've come up with a ridiculously easy yet risky tactic, spin jump to the top, let his momentum carry him through the roof, spin jump under him with a charge beam, repeat once more with him at the top of the stage, then you can plow him with charges while he's busy charging his gravity thing, gets through the first phase fast, but the second phase is just too difficult for me, can't keep track of his movements and he hits me.

It's actually possible to do a 0% run, but you have to be some sort of god player, or use tool assists on an emulator. I am sure all of you know I am referring to the missile tank in sector 3. It's possible (Although barely) to speed boost through that slime blocker thing.

the thing to beat him fast is to first destroy his mask then he will get near you in that time you need to get in that barrier thingy and then shoot missile (DO NOT CHARGE THE) just do rapid fire Missile launch and then KABOOM but is a Little difficult to the X

Doing something like this, you have to watch out for every movement in Nightmare's 3rd phase. Sometimes he acts like he's gonna fly to the right but then decides to fly upwards (for example at 2:40) I hate when he does that!

I fight this boss on a normal run of the game, and I can't help but die most of the time. You did it on a 1% game like it was nothing (XD). Well done!
