@Karlsmart111 not as much time was put into it as there was in diablo 2 also if im not mistaken cost three times as much as this, games shouldnt just be rated on features and length but also on how good the mechanics were and this game had some great ones, on the point that TL2 wont be as good as diablo 3, know one can comment till you play them(on the new that came out about diablo 3 over the weekend i wouldnt have high hopes for it )

And Diablo 3 isn't out yet, so this makes a great replacement in the meantime. Sure, D3 is impressive, but it's not out and therefore cannot be compared with a game which is currently playable.

this game is exactly what D3 would have been had Blizzard not taken their sweet time focusing on WC3+SC2+WoW and released D3 in ~2005-6 IMO. Torchlight's gameplay is perfect and everything I expected as a step-up from D2. Great game.

Anyway, graphics and ergonomics are awesome. I had to say it or trolls will piss me off.

The level design is so repetitive, with rectangular ways, always bridge separating plateforms with zombies. No external environments, nothing than hiting and firing (after 10 years, nothing new?).

And the game keep crashing at the same boss. No patch to fix it (and about patch, what a joke : never seen a patch containing the full install, lol).
