@HaohmaruHL Ah, the fierce and roundhouse are old school street fighter terms for the button layout. Jab is light punch, Strong is Medium punch, and Fierce is heavy punch. Short is light kick, Forward is medium kick, and Roundhouse is heavy kick.

The problem? Every higher tier char has a great keep away game and projectiles.

He sure has come a long way from SF2.

I remember hating to fight him back in the arcade - mostly because after fighting him you had Vega and it took some time to getting adjusted to the new style so quick. I never thought you would ever be able to play him and now he is one of my favorite characters. Best charge character I think.

yes go back two seconds or do back down or for 2 seconds then then go forward and punch at the same time It takes a while to perfect. But you'll get it eventually.

Thanks for the vid bro, i just picked balrog up, and though he is a pain in the ass to learn, i think getting the hang of him will up my overall game. But my only problem at the moment is his rush punshes, i have such a hard time getting the right one out when i need it.

Balrog has such damaging combos that are pretty easy to do lol. Like at 3:55. You can even follow that with an ultra

I'll be keeping an eye out for Part 2 & 3! Just bought SF4 yesterday and being a Keyboard (PC) player it made it difficult to play my preferred character - I chose Balrog as a replacement mostly thanks to being a huge fan of the Arcade Infinity (Gootecks included) crew and watching their great games (Balrog is very popular overall). Even uploaded my first set of n00bish SF4 movies while practicing - Clearly I have a lot of work to do, esp. with the keyboard, so I'll be sure to watch these <3
