Katrina was only a test ~ Case and point, since '05 isn't in interesting that these cyclones seem to form 2,3 even four in a track all in similar intensity, Mark my words ~NO hurricane will be allowed to affect any effluent region as the insurance claims make such storms very unprofitable, therefore; these events will only be managed to allow a spur of pre-event preparedness only to "Miraculously" dissipate (some rain, light wind to save face shall be allowed) far too many suckers glued to TWC
Absolutely incredible video and well documented. I was on Marco Island during the 1960 Hurricane Donna. Only 10 years old at the time, I did not understand why all of the adults were so concerned. I thought it was pretty cool having fish swimming in my aunt's house and only wished my mother would let me off the bunk beds to play with them!
well produced I didnt own a camera so i couldnt get pictures but my front window was uncovered so i could see as a small citrus tree uprooted or mabey even more significant the tree in my front yard shifted its the largest tree in the neighborhood it almost fell on the cars besides that all i saw was the house across the street lose thier shutter and they went flying up out of sight lots of damage to everything but my house. I live in Palm Beach Gardens
Excellent documentation of Wilma's landfall. You guys are exceptionally well prepared, and by deploying remote camera packs into high-risk areas, you definitely have given us an opportunity to view some rare footage. Keep up the great work!
Pretty awesome video!
My friend was on holiday in Florida when Hurricane Wilma hit...

@pietrovaldes You are quite welcome. That's what these videos are for- to show people what hurricanes do and how they affect the areas that they do.
