this is a 2006 RC211v, which was raced from 2002-2006 when the cc limit was 990cc. Now, after 2007 the bikes are limited to 800cc. Back before 2002, bikes were limited to 500cc, but were 2-strokes.
@TheMachRider I don't why I asked that and knew that. Silly me! However, there's word the motogp class is suppose to go back to 990/1000cc by 2011 or 2012. They realized that the 800cc could carry just as much or even higher corner speeds than the 990's. Even during the straight they could still top out over 200mph if the track was long enough.
