  • @calimar28 u mad?

  • That's a freaking joke!!! Obviously the dude on the sport bike doesn't know how to ride.

  • FAST HARLEY!!

  • Vrod is a lot heavier and 2 cylinders. Much nicer bike to ride than the Honda and a lot more fun. Easily a 150MPH bike......not that you will go that fast much. Sounds a lot better too.

  • Was that a Honda CBR 250? A 1000 CBR would of smoked that harley POS.

  • @calimar28 you obviously never ridden a v-rod?? i owned one last year and i smoked my mates on their r1 and blades.

  • @NIGHTSKYE1

yer but you are comfatble on a harley, and the bike is a peace of art.. hate people that dont apreciate anything, and go off speed on everything... harleys are sexy on wheels.

  • @NIGHTSKYE1 my buddy and his v-rod can't keep up with my 08 blade... but that's fine. I don't think any less of him and we respect each other and our bike choices. v-rod's need work to be faster than any 1k. why do harley's have a 100hp club? lol

  • @calimar28 dude,dont be so sensitive.

  • @calimar28 POS ???? That SPORT BIKE wasnt so sporty was it, if a "POS" harley kicked its ass. Tuck your tail and bow down to Harley

  • @calimar28 those v rods are actually very quick 10 sec bikes with some modifications

  • i cant even lie, that harley sounded good.

  • @TheBethanyShow21

    Yes it did :)

  • Look at your comment. Back to mine. Back to yours NOW BACK TO MINE. Sadly, it isn't mine. But if you stopped trolling and started posting legitimate crap it could LOOK like mine. Look down, back up, where are you? You're scrolling through comments, finding the ones that your comment could look like. Back at mine, what is it? It's a highly effective counter-troll. I'm on a desktop

  • @Laitharex not seeing the thumbs up. just saying. not really contributing to either side of whatever u guys are talking about lol. continue what you were doing

  • that rice burner got smoked by 6 feet. go Harley

  • why cant everyone ride in peace? lol i have an 05 harley road king. im a harley fan but i wont knock sport bikes. i give respect to all riders out there for getting out riding with your buds and havin fun. Im the only one out of my friends with a "cruiser" bike the majority ride gsxr1000s and a couple others ride ninja 600s and i have no problem in keeping up on the highway. sure they can flat out smoke me, but i can also ride for more than 2hrs straight without getting uncomfortable like them

  • @travisvanalst I agree with you on this one. The biggest reason I ride my HD, is because after 4-5 hundred miles a day of riding I can still stand up straight without going to a chiropractor. I have a ZX14, and can only ride 80-100 miles and have to stop to stretch my back and legs.

  • @jackalo626 - you need to spend more time in the saddle boy - and try a few other bikes out before shooting off your mouth. I've had more oil leaks back in the day with mid 80's Kawi's and even a warranty leak that nobody at Suzuki could fix on my 1997 TL1000S...finally gave up and traded it for a 1997 Buell S1 Lightning - now 2011, never any leaks - and have done nothing but oil changes....a bullet proof low cost torgue monster 1200cc HD V-Twin. Love all bikes, but not a fan of haters.

  • In the end... the Harley Davidson wins hands down... no matter the elapsed time! Ha... "win" on a Honda? What do you have then? You still have just a Honda.

  • @JayDAnderson really?????? Harley better than a Honda HAHAHAHHAHAA Just for you guys out there who think they are all American made etc, there are so many outsourced and foreign made parts on them it is hilarious. Buy the hype because that is all you are getting. Harley=oil leaks and vibrations

  • ANd who win?

  • Comparing a high performance sports bike to a Hardly Davidson is like comparing a Lamborghini to an 18-wheeler... lol

  • @MrTigerattitude more like a Lamborghini to a Bentley.

  • doesnt any vrod owner know to change the ignition to a powercommander or an ignition similar to up the rev limit.you cant beat anything with a stock ignition.my 2002 883 wil beat any mild upgraded 1340,and any stock twin cam 88.and the sporty produces power past 7500 rpm, and never hurts it(top speed over 200 kph with mikuni hsr 42,crane hi4 ignition with a higher vacuum voes ,#4 crane cams, and kn filter, the rest is stock. all they need is spark at any rpm.funny but true

  • I would just like to know which one won ?

  • I love bikes...all of them. Love Harleys and love the sport bikes also. When a bike weighs 700lbs it's more than likely going to be a cruiser to cruise on...where as a 3-400lbs sport bike is just that....sporty and fast as sh*t. Depends the mood your in as to which one your gonna ride. Bottom line we love bikes...no matter how much stuff we talk to each other two wheelers stick together.

  • @scorpionvmu matters which honda cbr that one is if its a 1000rr than it was defintaly the rider if its 600rr its probally the driver

  • AMERICA!

  • My cbr 600 RR can do 80mph on first gear w/o hitting redline. Can a HD do the same? I really want to know b/c I'm looking for a commuter cruiser that can keep up with LA traffic and other 600cc supersports.

  • @deepdriedspam The V-Rod will hit red line in first gear at roughly 60 mph

  • @sbuckley2 that's because the V-Rod is geared more towards low end torque. While the CBR is all high end.

  • @EpiDemic117 Eh, the V-Rod doesn't have very impressive torque...the engine is built to rev...for a cruiser that is, anyway. Obviously it can't rev as high as the CBR.

  • @nitrousmouse I agree with you there but the difference can't be enough to brag about, in this vid for instance its only a half bike link.

  • @gsxrpik i wish that kid on the cbr could ride.....its not the machine, its the rider. he sucked and for some reason still won

  • It's a matter o style and comfort. Every video has one person bashing another for their choice in bikes, but guess what: they make more than one bike for a reason! If you want a bike that can accelerate and decelerate, turn sharp, buy a sports bike, you wanna cruise the countryside, buy a cruiser...either way, stop compairing apples to oranges.

  • Be nice! AS we age and begin to get a limp noodle our reactions get slow and less defined. We can't expect middled viagra eating men to control any 100+ horse power sport bike. A 50 horse power Harley is much safer for these old guys that are at risk of breaking a hip.

  • @SuperVanGogh13 Open mouth, grab leg, ram foot into mouth! Dude you dont know the first thing about Harleys. Fact is, my 2010 V-Rod stock has 120hp and 84ft/lbs of torque. It will smoke a 600 crotch rocket easily out of the hole. Yes, they catch me on the big end of the track, but apples to oranges man. 600cc sport bike - 400lbs VRod - 650lbs

  • @NitrousMouse i know this is made up, or the person ur racing cant launch his bike.

  • @gsxrpik I have owned sport bikes and drag raced them. In stock wheelbase form they can be hard to get out of the hole fast without doing a wheelie, the v-rod hooks and goes, no wheelie, easy to take the sport bikes out off the line.

  • @iceTTom 0-140 in 8 minutes...funnnn

  • I must admit I was out tonight on my Hornet(hevaily performance modded) At some point I ended up between A pair of harley guys. I thought id just lose them at the lights. But boy was I wrong. They went rediculously fast, but just looked as if they were cruising, even round a bend. I was having to work the bends back wheel was twitching and I was screaming the engine to keep up. It was utterly surreal. I have a Harley Iron to, i was keeping that for the relaxed cruises????

  • @segov2860 exactly harleys are not slow , alot of ppl just dont go all out, they just wana relax and cruze

  • @segov2860 your full of shit haha. if you have a 919 hornet it has 130hp compared to a harleys what 68hp lol i have a 919 cbr which has the same engine. and the guy i ride with can hold his harley to the floor for 10 minutes and it still takes him 5 minutes to catch me after i stop. and the cornering thing haha bullshit. you can go around the same corner 40mph faster than a harley if you know what your doing. your a harley guy trying to make them pigs look good when there not.

  • @cbr900rr919 yeah twisties no prob loosing them, but i kid you not these guys were flying. I have the 600 hornet. 919 hornet 130hp? I dont think so. CBR maybe but thats got 2 extra mills in the intake diameter. Makes a big difference. Admittedly it wasnt a sharp bend, it was a duel carredge way, but the speed still warrented my crazy lean angles. I was doing near 120mph going by the sound in 6th. The thing with harleys, you dont always know what engine they have.

  • @cbr900rr919 Very true Harley's have a limited lean angle they are not made to go fast in a corner or in a straight line unless they are engine modified (Vrod not included they are fast for a 650lbs bike in a straight line). I rode with a few Harleys I on my Buell I took a corner at 65mph never felt my foot touch the ground but my friend on the super glide one of the better handling big twins was scrapping his peg all the way around the turn. Lucky he did not raise the front wheel off the road.

  • @Charlie10904 your wrong Rouch was not the original designer of the vrod motor...that motor was designed by Erick Buell for the H-D VR1000 race bike it originally weighed under 200 lbs. But after H-D started to develope it for the street it turned into a boat anchor. Erick Buell wanted that motor for his bikes but just like most of his ideas H-D shot it down.

  • @3psu i know Erick buell got the shit end of the stick he had ideas that would have kicked the japs asses buell won the ama championship what 3 yrs ago but with a bike that had a Rotax engine in it. but harley didnt want to compete with the jap companies. i herd Erick was teaming up with Can-Am that will be the shit if they let him do his thing. he is very inventive and came up with some of the ideas that the jap companies have used.

  • @cbr900rr919 If Erik is teaming up with Can-Am it is one of his last choices... Erik is a firm believer in his bikes being assembled and some parts made in America... The only way he would go with a foreign company is if they let his bikes be built in the U.S.A. There are very few men like Erik Buell left that are true believers in the American work force. America has the best of everything and if anyone wants to dispute that fact put your countries armed forces up against America's.

  • @3psu not really buell himself went to can-am. he says it is still on the drawing boards but he is optimistic about it. besides can-am is a canadian company its not like it is in japan or Europe. and he is a firm believer in using rotax motors. thats not an american company. first and foremost erick is a business man. and a race bike builder next. shit the last bike he built with harely had a rotax engine in it cause the v-twins suck. i bet if he dose go to can -am they wont be built here.

  • @cbr900rr919 You know the rotax motors are a "v-twin" and are built in Austria and not Canada. Can-Am uses the Austrians motor as well. Erik is a firm believer that final assembly should be done here in the USA as well as some of the manufacturing. The frame and swing arm is made in the USA among a few other parts. Buell will want those to stay state side with final assembly as well. He already as a work force ready to build the bikes who know what they are doing. Remember H-D laid them off.

  • @cbr900rr919 I bet the reason it is still on the drawing board is because he wants them built state side or he would have been building production street bike already... Buell has a huge following of riders who will pay a little more for his bikes as long as they are not more than a Ducati he should be fine and they will sell, I will buy one.

  • @3psu america still does built a shit load of cars here. Even under foriegn names. Most bikes now though have gone over seas. They are trying to keep the costs down. I don't mind if a sports bike is build in japan. The japanese always stand behind their work. Just like Americans. It's the China that does not.

  • @EpiDemic117 Don't get me started with China that is the worst quality you will ever see!!!

  • @3psu china = Cheap untuned junk with all kinda of electrical problems. Like some items though and materials that the Chinese factories receive come form the U.S and other countries. But some of the workers there are completely unskilled that don't know what they are doing in terms of final assembly. they don't get payed shit either.

  • @EpiDemic117 China has not received any materials from the USA... Proof is the President just 6 months ago finally made a trade agreement with them so America can import to China... Do not put the USA in with the crap they make!!! All the trade agreements America has made over the years were bullshit because the other countries do not live up to the agreement!!! Just like China will end up defaulting on this new agreement with the USA.

  • @3psu we did actually sell some recycled shit to them. And our steel doesn't have to get there directly from us. Sometimes we sell metal to other countries, which eventually end up selling it to china. We also buy some materials from them and sell others to them as well. I don't despise china. I just don't like the quality of the shit they pump out. Can't compare the the U.S.A and japan and euro quality.

  • @3psu but not every product we make is perfect or really good. Some things we make are crap Depending on the company that makes it. But most of the mare good and fair when it comes to warranties and standing behind what we build.

  • i got a night rod harley a CBR 1000 and race ready R6...i do the knee drgging shit and drag race....who gives a fuck what u ride! i prefer the HD any day every day dont get me worng i long to blast around on the cbr but HD just fits me better. just ride who give a fuck as long as it has 2 wheels u got my respect

  • Harleys are as Redneck as Grits... straight up no joke. The vrod Is only 1/2 american if that. Real Hardley davidson riders dont consider it american. As all the forks are import (asia) and motor on the vrod is an import design (german). Ride what you like

  • widac ze baba startowala ta cbr I wszystko jasne

  • I got an 05 Harley V-Rod And an 06 Yamaha R6. I will say they are totally different riding styles. Both have there positives and negatives. Neither can be compared to each other though, they are way to different.

  • Famous Jap cruiser statement " and it looks like a Harley"or it sounds just like a Harley. Just ride what you like or can afford. Don't feel bad if you can't afford a Harley , but don't dis those who can.

  • harleys are nice......if you want to putt arround like an old woman.

  • @gsxrpik

    eeeya.. at 140mph.. jackass

  • Comment removed

  • It is a preference thing ,I prefer Harley there for only Harley will do .I had a Triumph I rode a BMW ,I had a KZ 1100 on a chopper frame .My last was a 76 FLH the middle of the AMF years that was my Favorite bike .Ride what you want when you want .If you ride a cafe racer stop messing it up for the rest of us . Too many of you guys end up in the ER and we have to wear helmets .They are gonna start making us wear those awful orange vests.Thank your Ins for that one its coming

  • I ride sport bikes, but if I chose a Harley, It'd be the V-Rod!

  • Great video have a look at my custom v rod on youtube

  • @fingerleeshands What is this "I.Q" you talk of? "I.Q", I have never seen this Acronym or initialism before. If you are referring to intelligence quotient, drop the period (or full stop if you are British). Not that I am suggesting that your IQ is low because of this mistake. Grammar and vocabulary can be a very poor indicator of IQ, even for a failbot such as yourself... Brought to you by the IQ Nazi party.

  • lmao.. The guy on the v-rod had a damn near perfect take off. good for him. the dork on the honda was a newb.. he shifted early and didnt know how to make that bike perform.

  • they are both 2 weelers and pack a punch, now because the honda guy was to late on the clutch its no ones fault, i know that harley is the only mean machine in this world that kicks ass where ever it goes but for speed we know that honda is the same ultimate machine ? tries to come close to harley, people what i witnessed in a harley motor you dont know but this machine is made in 150F to drive to the fullest speeds with no mercy. Get me one bike that comes close to do that.

  • @crazymontenegro - Hyabusa

  • @crazymontenegro Whhhhhaaaaat?? I Don't follow you at all. So the Harley is built to run at the RPM limiter for the full duration of its service interval is it? No petrol bike can do that. Little 50cc scooters don't do a bad job when you consider they run at just about max-RPM all of the time. Maybe that is the moral of the story... If your bike can be 'driven to the fullest speeds with no mercy' it's probably an underpowered piece of junk. The Harley loses once performance counts.

  • wow great video. v-rod is definately an impressive machine. as for the honda, well it did is best. some times your fast and sometimes your not. and fk all u people fighting over wether sportbikes are better than harleys. if u had real testys u'd shut the fk up and ride like a big boy. so until then lean forward real far, grip those handle bars and fasten ur huggies. you.ll still never gain the true essence of the ride untill u grow a pair and man up

  • @cbsmoraine Well, some people like to go fast, and some people like to ride harleys and not go fast. LOL If you want to man up ride a 1000cc sportbike around a track sometime and feel REAL adrenaline! It takes a real man to drag a knee going 100mph around a sweeping turn. Any fat ass can cruise down the road. I don't care what people ride, but I am sick of harley guys saying sportbikes are such junk when a 600cc sportbike can destroy a 1200cc harley. The ignorance is amazing!

  • @adrenalineboyzryan i dont believe i ever said sportbikes are junk. however i do think ur just a tad off in the head if u think the deffinition of a real man is someone who drags thier knee across the ground at 100 mph. yeah its an intence feeling but pushing the limits and riding like your balls are on fire, well that really doesnt constitute a "real man" but if ur out look on life is nothing more than the next croner u carve well then by all means be all the "real man" u want

  • @cbsmoraine Well, I was speaking in terms of motorcycles. They are not my only out look on life, it just applied to what we were talking about. Riding a motorcycle slowly in a straight line takes no skill, dragging a knee around a corner on a racetrack takes skill. You said a "real man" drives a harley. I have never seen a harley lean that far over ever, so I guess "real men" can't ride.

  • @cbsmoraine I think the problems start when the Harley boys start talking about how badass fast their bikes are, and that's what people mean by "well a real man is dragging knees at 100 on a sportbike", telling them if you want to talk shit about how bad your bike is and how brave you are for staying on the beast while you're twisting that right wrist, well step up to the big leagues.

  • @batvette Very true, granted, i get a rush on both my harley and my cbr. It just depends on the day, the mood and the ride i feel like taking. I also own a chevy duramax and some days i just want to crusie around in it blowing black smoke. To each there own, but me its about the experience. Also im a husband and father and as much fun as it is to be stupid, i cant do that any more cause i have priorities i have to worry about

  • @adrenalineboyzryan andf just to clearifiy i have rode both types of bikes most of my life and now that im a husband and father i know what i do with a sportbike and the way i ride is not very safe or mature cause lets face it, if u own a lamborgini ur not going to putt around town on it. but becaue im a "real man" (my opinion) i have come to realize my priorities and know that my wife and daughter are counting on me to stay alive thats y i ride a harley (o yeah btw im only 22)

  • @cbsmoraine Your definition of a real man as far as taking care of your family is more spot on then what you said before. I agree with you 100% about taking care of your family first and being responsible, however taking a bike to a track day every now and then is not as bad as being an idiot racing down the highway though. After all, lots of professional racers have families, so would they be irresponsible for that?

  • @adrenalineboyzryan .....now we come 2 an agreement. track days, hell ride ur heart out. i couldnt agree more with trackdays. u arent weaving n & out of traffic, you have medical staff on hand. that is what a real man does. the highway thing is what i was refering too. i hate the dumb asses that ride like the cops are chasing them. as for the harley not leaning that far blah blah blah bs. i ride both, i just think harleys are best kept on the street and sportys are best kept on the track.

  • @adrenalineboyzryan Yea man, harleys are for people who want to be loud and go strait and look bad-ass. basicly middle age dudes who are insecure. fuck all that noise, sport bikes all day not even comparable.

  • @adrenalineboyzryan I hope you dont think that all HD riders have only ridden HD. I spent 3 yrs on a 600R Ninja, then 6 on a GSXR 1000....now I ride a Dyna that is fast as fuck!! Have you ever owned a Harley? If you did, you probably wouldnt go back...that's a fact. If anything....it demands more rider skill to ride a Harley than it does to ride a new state of the art sportbike...If your the type that likes to ride out front anyways. You got my respect no matter what you ride as long as you ride

  • @adrenalineboyzryan The problem is two different riding styles and two completely different styles of bikes. Road racing on a rice eater doesn't interest me. I don't like the way they look and sound. Are they complicated pieces of machinery that can go really fast? Yup. Still don't like 'em. Can't stand Ferraris either. See where I'm going with this? I'm a drag racer at heart and I love the Harley subculture. V-Rod is where my heart lies.

  • @CarolinaWerewolf haha then your heart lies with Porsche. Good compromise for the Ferrari though!

  • @dan8852 you must be a dumbass that thinks Porsche made the v-rod motor you couldn't be more wrong they only helped make it meet emission standards and the motor was originally designed by roush so go some where else with that shit

  • @Charlie10904 The fact is they needed help, and I didn't even know about Roush lol. So I guess it took three of them to do it then.

  • @adrenalineboyzryan they are junk if your talking about quality i own a 08 cbr1000rr and a 08 nightster and a 09 night train and sport bikes don't come close in quality maybe thats why harley guys say there junk and if they wasn't maybe are sport bikes would have a better resale value

  • @adrenalineboyzryan hey dum ass havent you heard of ama flat track racing harleys goin 130 mph sideways on a dirt track 2 inches away from other riders on ether side yea thats called adrenaline.. learn your facts faggot. i wana see your cute rocket bikes go 130 mph kickin it sideways around a dirt turn without flipin out. thats the original, most ballsy, still the best motorcycle racing

  • @pumpkinheadbmx Well moron, street bikes are for racing on the street hence the name LOL. Also yes I have heard of it, but those are special built bikes that you can't even buy at a dealership. I am talking about buying a bike from the dealer and taking it on a track. No store bought harley will ever hold its own to even the smallest sportbike on a track. You are comparing apples to oranges. Like I said I don't care what you ride, but I just hate how harley guys always diss the sportbikes.

  • @adrenalineboyzryan what do you mean stock harley xr750's race flat track all the time. my dad did it for years all he did to it was diff tires and air filters

  • @pumpkinheadbmx LOL ahhh yes the 70's, well things have changed a bit since the stone age. LOL Oh, and a stock harley wasn't going 130 on the track. LOL

  • @pumpkinheadbmx 130mph? or kph? Seems a little high to me

  • @schecterblackjack mph and ik that seems high that my point our big jug 1980 flt tourglide 1300 thats fully dressed will do 110 easy my sportster thats half the wait and still a 1200 will do 140 max

  • @pumpkinheadbmx actualy there is a guy who is riding a kawasaki 750cc bike on the dirt and killing the harleys i read it in sport rider. so they can do it for sure. and it goes way faster around the turns than a harley can go so the other guy was right.

  • @cbr900rr919 that may be but that was one case, you allmosed never see that, im just saying that Harleys are not just slow moving bikes driven by fat ppl, and im pretty sure that Kawasaki wasn't a crotch rocket sport bikes. so your comment dident prove anything at all.

  • @pumpkinheadbmx you couldn't be farther from the truth it is a crotch rocket bike and has been taking the harleys out like nothing. so my comment did prove everything. it is a liquid cooled 750 rocket engine. that is why there was a 5 page article in sport rider about how good he is doing with his dirt track bike. he is tearing shit up bad.

  • @adrenalineboyzryan Walk into a real Harley bar and say that. XD

  • @DEMONSPEEDIN i'll walk in there and say it, With a fucking tire iron in my hand. Fatasses can't fight.

  • @EpiDemic117 Yeah, they'd have the stones to fight with their hands at least.

  • @adrenalineboyzryan My friend and I swapped bikes and I drove his v rod for the day and he drove my r6 and literally every time we stopped, a Harley guy would come up and ask if I felt emberassed to ride with my friend and some would comment on how I would destroy him in the straights and on corners. Ignorance is everywhere. Both are great bikes. I drive a Ducati now just to stay away from both crowds...

  • @adrenalineboyzryan actually the vrod was engineered by porsche and I rip 999 Ducati all day long at drag strip in an 09 nightrod 150hp a 600cc will not even get close to a vrod unless you mean strictly on twisties

  • @romuluscreative Well, the only thing Ducati is good for is turns. They are dog slow. Also 150 hp out of a V Rod? WOW you must have had some serious work done to that bike! A 600cc sportbike can get about 120hp with a pipe power commander and a good tune. However consider that a 600cc engine can make almost the same power as a 1200cc harley engine. So you tell me the better setup. I'm not one for the drag strip, I am more for track riding, but to each their own. As long as you have fun doing it.

  • @adrenalineboyzryan Not all that much, ecu, air intake and exhaust mostly, form 09 or 08 up they came stock with 125hp and with the longer/low profile and porsche engineering it runs pretty well. But im in no way a "harley" person but the harly crowds mostly just like the ride and freedom of riding maybe spinning tires more than twisties. Ive lowsided enough to hate twisties lol.

  • @romuluscreative Yeah, the twisties can be fun, but they can also bite back hard. I have seen enough guys go down myself.

  • @adrenalineboyzryan

They are only trying to justify the ridiculous amount of money they spent on their piece of shit Harley

  • man i love V-Twins and especially if its turbocharged !!!

  • lol The guy on the honda should trade in for a triumph rocket! That V-rod would not look so fast then!...

  • @1981rocketman1981 The Rocket 3 and the V-Rod... or any of the other big cruisers will beat a sportbike over the first 100 feet or so. 0% chance of flipping something with a wheelbase that long and with such a long trail you don't have to worry as much about spin. I would like to take a Rocket 3 out for a spin, its one of the few bikes I have not had the pleasure of riding. A lot of the fights over which bike is faster will start coming down to electronics soon. Like the new BMW S1000RR.

  • @Pwn00b Yes your right! I used to ride only sports bikes until I moved to America from UK! Am a married man now and my wife loves to come on trips with me so a cruiser was the obvious choice for me, so I bought a harley electro glide! Had it for a year then bought my rocket 3 in 06! I still have that sport bike in me so the rocket was a obvious choice for still being able to have some fun! Am at the moment looking for a second bike and just took a bmw r1200rt for a test ride what a nice bike!...

  • @1981rocketman1981 The R1200RT is a very nice bike and it's a good time to look at a new one given the recent update. Among other bikes I have had a couple of R1200GSs since 2006 (I move around too, so I'm in your boat) and I begrudgingly conceded to myself that the boxer BMWs are universally excellent bikes. They are not the best at anything but they are not limited by anything, you can experience all that motorcycling has to offer on a boxer BMW, not something I say about any of my other bikes

  • 20 thousand dollars and 10kms a year does not make you a rider" - great quote, it defines every harley rider.

  • @TheBuIIshitable Not true, I pull 10K mi / year on my Harley. I'll admit it's not fast like a bwing bwing, I went from a zrx1200 to a Sportster 1200 different styles dont hate!

  • @hp660r what made you decide to downgrade?

  • Just like anything else in the world whether its harley's or imports as a group we need to stick together we are all out there for the same reason to enjoy the ride ,so always wave to the fellow biker......

  • kids need to stop fighting. both bikes are great, i deff prefer the look of the v rod over the "plastic" as he calls them bikes.

    stop fighting

    both are styles

just like asian, European, and north ameriacan cars

just like emos, nerds and preps

takes balls to ride either style of bike

  • @sludged08 this guy deserves more thumbs up... I drive Porsches all day but I own a Jeep and a 1969 GTO and honestly I like 'em equal! It is all about preference, I also ride a Kawisaki Ninja and I am saving up to buy a V-Rod Muscle, great our sport bikes can beat any Harley around a track but guess what only like 15% of sportbikes ever even see a track and really, we ride on the street I want some comfort. It is like saying my Porsche GT3 RS can beat your Mercedes S65 AMG around a race track

  • It's funny how the only decent engine Harley has ever produced had to be designed by Porsche and controlled by electronics designed by Ford.

  • @gsxr1131 It's also funny how you enjoy riding bikes made of plastic.

  • @leemobility69578 It's also....also.....funny that they aren't made of plastic but actually have fairings to divert wind and make it more aerodynamic and efficient while V-rod's have no such luxury or efficiency.

Another plus is they don't really on the sound of the exhaust to make sales but rather on quality and performance.

Buy a brain(IF you have money), learn to learn, and learn to use it and stop being a biased cunt.

  • @DynastyPercussion also funny how harley's out perform sport bikes at speeds that people will actually drive at( like 40-80 mph) so what if the sportbike's top speed is like 150 and the harley's is 110 no normal person is going to drive that fast.

  • @johnthomas314 I really don't care about which dries better "normally" the topic of this discussion is acceleration/top speed which any sport bike has over any cruiser..........me personally..........I'd go with a Harley street glide drippin' with chrome because I prefer them more.

  • @DynastyPercussion ageed lol

  • @johnthomas314 What are you talking about? I've never seen a Harley pull hard past 10 miles per hour.

  • @johnthomas314 Try building a I4 engine that SCREAMS at F1 speeds. ok great NOW try reducing the weight of the engine, (which requires some sophisticated instruments and with the help of CAD software) Now the bike needs to be aero dynamic as all hell to have the littlest amount of drag. This is the types of things most modern bike companies think of when designing top stuff. The Vrod is the only modern HD bike i've seen. It looks like a far better quality bike than those other air cooled ones.

  • both sick bikes i wouldnt just have one though, gotta have one for cruising and another for speed

  • @OlesonFam Exactly.

    Simple as that....problem solved! =D

  • I actually own a 2008 zx6r ninja and a 2010 v-rod muscle and i'll be the first to say that the harley 0-100 will beat a 600. After that it's the ninja all the way. So i guess depending on the driver, in the 1/4 mile, it would be close. I honestly couldn't believe a so called "cruiser" was that fast but trust me, the muscle definitely has sum serious muscle.

  • @mikal504 its because a vtwin makes more torque than small 4cyl usually and sportbikes make high hp low torque the engines on sportbikes need to be wound up to certain rpm before you fly then the hp carries you the rest of the way off the 100mph lol after the 100 the bike your talking abouts hp cant keep up with the top end rpm like the sportbikes high hp to weight ratio so the ninja leaves it with the 2cyl advantage

  • Harley Old science.. Over priced to slow..

  • HD was making bikes when the Japanese were discovering the wheel.

  • @mahmahmonkey Yep I agree with ya 100%. They were junk then, and they have not changed.

  • @mahmahmonkey

Problem is almost all of the Harley line is out of date technology that sells on image rather than technical advancement.

  • @mahmahmonkey ...and they perfected the wheel and were enjoying it out on the road reliably while you were adjusting your bike every five hours.

Get a life and admit that Super-Sport out accelerates ANY cruiser so we can all actually enjoy watching an awesome video about them.

  • Vaguely

    Resembles

    Something

    Contemporary

I liked the V-rod much better 20 years ago when it was called the Yamaha V-Max. And the brainwashed members of willie G's cult actually have the nerve to claim Japan copies harley? ROFLMMFAO!!1!~!1!1!!!!one!1!1!!!!1111

  • you're goddamn right!

  • @fingerleeshands About the funniest put-down I ever read!

  • Very funny. I like the line "you can type as fast asyou can touch the screen you shit stain" I have a freind that has an iphone who thinks its the shit. but every week he cracks the screen or f's it up some how. He said he couldn't type that fast on it and he's all thumbs. I told him to get a stylus. now he lose's that every week! LOL!!

  • single didgets, like the length of your penis in millimeters, or like the length of your husbands in inches

  • theres 3 things you just proved. one your not on an i phone cause you cant type that fast which your also probly not at that club you said, and you said you would replace stupid with my face. wowyour not just chilidish your way past that. i realise what lmfao means. im not a retard you on the other hand im not sure. and take a laugh, thats not really sounding funny, i guess you had to be there, but then know one is there so its really not funny at all nobody loves you

  • you no for a 24 year old, which i highley dought, you are quite childish, and of cource your at the club btw whats with the lmfao at the end of everything. i wouldnt be surprised if you were a 14 year old girl and a dog off a turtels back, wow really.and those 2 ladies, most of us call those trannys you fag get a life, but until then i really dont care what you have to say.

  • its funny because your all tough on this.4 years younger and i will still kick your ass,and wow your real funny withthe role playing jokes how long did it take you to think of that one. janitor pants is a name my freind gave me but you wouldnt now about that, you sit at home and chirp guys cause you have nothing better to do. we will see who is laughing when im having a good time with some freind and your waiting for me to reply so you can pull out another joke that took you an hour to think of.

  • even better an old fart that thinks he knows somthing and still calls people stupid ha. you can legally drink does your mommy still tell you not to fag

  • honestly are you 10 years old? the word stupid will replace my face. your childish comment just made my day.grow up kid

  • lol you make me laugh i like your comparisons

  • actually im pretty sure that is a cbr 125r which is a very small bike. a cbr 600 would beat any harley anyday. if that was a 600 that race was rigged the front whele dint even come off the ground. your trying to compare a cruiser against a 125cc beginer bike. but nice try

  • janitorpants. CBR 125R ?! You must be joking :'D ! 125cc's acceleration 0 to 60 is like 20 seconds. xD

  • ya but thats the only think a stock or lightly moddified harley could keep up with. the 600, is the next step up, and would destroy the harley unless the harley is heavily modified

  • ahaha rubberbullet guy lost to harley! ahahahahah!!!!!!!

  • larry mcbrides bike is a kawasaki and it runs a 5.8 look it up.

  • happens all the time

  • I own the best of both worlds. A mid 80s V-65 Magna. It ran high tens in 1983, and still has that cool, cruiser look and ride. Even the V-rod can't catch it, and it gets respect from even the fastest sport bikes.

  • crotch rockets or cruisers, they are totally different. My cousin had crotch rockets most of his life, from ninjas and suzukis, but he got tired of those bikes, they are just toys. So he bought a v-rod and loves it, its sits lower and you are in a more comfortable position for just riding. I couldn't imagine sitting in a fetal position for a 300 mile bike ride across Texas. riding and racing bike are totally different experiences.

  • To play devils advocate you put a built turbo busa against a top fuel harley and your harley will feel like a naked fat man wit a 2inch pecker in a crowd of playboy bunnies. Just keepin it real
