It's interesting how Landmark Education makes you acknowledge that your own story is "made up", but the graduates all say exactly the same thing in exactly the same words - it is indeed as if what happens in that weekend is that your story gets destroyed and replaced by a different, standardized one...

Why do you actually have to "create" something... isn't there enough to deal with and think about already?

Hi Cheryl, I am a forum graduate from 2009, and I do visit videos and blogs time to time from graduates for some added inspiration, and I have to say that you have been quite inspiring, The discovery of self, finding rackets and strong suits and authenticity of one is my motto.

SELP sounds amazing . Fear is the only thing that is hold us back but sometimes it's hard to see the truth without experiencing it. You've helped me a lot.. There really isn't anything to fear. That's almost funny because there isn't anything to fear. I see I have a coach in you. Thanks!

I am glad I've be a contribution to you. The biggest lie I've discovered through Landmark was our inner thoughts -rockets and strong suit. The best way to face your fear is to acknowlege your rockets and strong suit and stay present within your new possibility. You will see that your fear disappeared in no time bcuz you'll realize they are just in your head :-)

Hi, Cheryl, have you taken the SELP before? I was on the project I created and I was afraid to fail, but my coach told me to focus on the possibility, and my project turned out successful! Again, we all have fears as human beings, but they are not true... agree?

Hi, Cheryl, thanks for your comment, I really appreciate it! One of the most important realization is to notice that we create alot of thoughts to ourselves, especially the negative ones. Be aware of those thoughts because they are trying to stop you from doing things you love. I used to accept my inner voice and believed it was me...Until you start to realize that they dont mean anything, just a thought.

Of course everything we do it always relates to money making. Don't you? The only reason why you believe life cannot be empty and meaningless is because you made the meanings for them. When you step out beyond that, you will realize what you can create out of yourself. There's no right and wrong, just different point of views.

No Gettheresultyouwant, not everything we do relates to money...well, at least not for me because there are other things beyond my individual self that is intrinsically more important, or there will be consequences. The reality is nobody can be truly authentic in all areas and at all times and in all places because we are made up of 99% rackets & strong suits that we cannot seperate from our authentic self.

If you were paying careful attention, you should have heard that LM doesn't claim that it is "true" that "life is empty and meaningless," just that taking on that "life is empty and meaningless" is an empowering point of view, because it leaves people free to create free from the constraints their past experiences impose on their view of life. This is a subtle but important distinction-it works. There's nothing wrong with a company like LM making money if it is delivering value to its customers

Most of us get trapped inside our "reality" because of our choice we made based on our past experiences. When you care about what other people think about you, you tend to give away your power to really have things you want in life.

The reality you create for yourself is to understand all your fears are basically made up when they don't really existed. When you gave your fear that meaning to yourself, you automatically trapped. In order to create your breakthrough result, you need to acknowledge your fear and realize they don't really mean anything, they are only made up based on your past.

I find it hard to understand or accept that events in my past have no meaning, there is a reason human beings have memory. We need to dig into our past for useful information, for example, how we should behave in a social setting, how our short comeings have affected us and how we can learn from it.

When you realized your inner fears and emotions trapped you from moving forward to do the things you want in life don't mean anything because you made them all up to develop you a certain way, you can easily let go of them and design your new future totally without your past.

You can choose the meaning you give to yourself.
