  • one of the hottest tracks of that era, imho. def loop, fluffy rap, cool breaks, and awesome cuttin' ...

  • Thanks to legendary Capitol Radio DJ and UK Fresh '86 host Mike Allen (Allen's Army on Manoeuvres) who first played this in 1988. I remember him introducing it in his Tommy Vance style dulcitones! Ah, you can't beat the old school. Peace.

  • Pass the word around MIAMI BASS IS KING!!!!!!

  • Bring back real Hip Hop please!

  • Was this the first NY group that gave the Miami Bass Style some well deserved credit?

  • @JTKnowsMusic pretty much

  • @JTKnowsMusic Yes, most other acts were totally anti-non-New York rap. But later when 2 Live Crew fought for freedom of speech, suddenly everyone in the rap world was on their dick, supporting them.

  • I remember I used to rock this song in my earphones in History class. One of the few things i remember about high school..!

  • Tight!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Hip hop used to be about young guys & girls with brain and opinions. And they had a fun side too. Then enter whats his name with "Step In To the World or is it Light? Coolio? With the same fly da-da-da da-da-da dadada-dah in the mid to late 90's or a slight variation on the same.....I liked that song too.

  • Thanks...

  • Words of Wisdom! Hip Hop wil never die!
