Wow, only 4 days??? You're gonna be awesome once you get more advanced. Like others were saying, work on your bow grip, but you have a lot of potential.
Ya when you get more advanced into playing you will learn how to hold the bow differentally, but other than that that is pretty good for just starting out.
Nice. I've been playing for a little over 8 years now. My advice to you is bow grip. If you get it right it will improve your playing even more. And with any instruments you don't want to get into bad habits that are hard to break ;) nice job tho
for learning by ear and only 4 days this is pretty decent.. i've played the cello for 5 years now... yea.. so.. and i dont want to be rude but your holding the bow incorrectly and your cello is out of tune..
its good but u need to put more pressure into the bow and hold it correctly because you are getting a scratchyish sound right now and it is a little out of tune but otherwise it is really great, especially for the fourth day!

ur such bullshit
u obviously didnt learn to change positions in 4 days
u not good enough to actually show off but the level ur at will seem extremely impressive IF u were a beginner, so thats why you say youve only been playing for 4 days isnt it?
Nope, back there I WAS only playing for 4 days. Actually, I would never want to lie here because...well, that wouldn't make any sense. I'm not one of these fuckers^^ I just played the things by ear without even knowing WHAT exactly I was doing. That all...not less, not more. Believe it or not^^ And no, I don't think it's impressive...especially because so many notes are off tune a slight bit.
People who have MASTERED this instrument are to be considered impressive! Remember that!
@I3igEvil666 yes, looks to me like you're playing it like a bass WHICH MAKES IT EASIER TO SHIFT POSITIONS - very well done! im assuming you took your inspiration from Apocalyptica? they're incredible!
Wow that is amazing! It's just that you need to hold the bow correctly so it can sound better. Hey can anyone give me tips on pizz.? I think it's hard plucking loud!
OMG, wow, you are a amazing starter! Im in the Advanced Orchestra, and in the Amarillo Youth Symphothy! Only one little problem is that you need to use more bow so it could sound more clear. But anyways, I love the song.
You are learning faster than I was when I started out. A little tip : take a month of lessons with a teacher just to learn the right way to sit and hold the bow(you hold it wrong). Then get cello AND theory books and study through that. Also check out "cello chat" videos on youtube.
you'd be doing like twinkle twinkle little star if you had only been playing for 4 days thats bull, your bow hold is wrong. Your left arm is suppose to be up not hanging. but besides that your a good celloist.
yeah i play the cello too....and i find that maybe you should work on other strings. generally you learn the C string last, but if that's what you wanna do, go ahead. plus improve the bow hold.
This is great! "Float your left hand a bit and try and position your bow hand so that your middle finger is on the little metal piece-"middle on the metal if you will"... Anyway, keep up the good work. I've been player cello since the begining of the school year and I can't do that... But it's greade seven, I'm not expecting to be Bach or anything :P
4 days ya right man, use a more beginner bowhold, and also, dont shift if uve played for 4 days.. and get some tapes... that is if uv'e "only played for 4 days"!! like everyone else says... woooooow ur amazing for "4 days"
hey, when you're using your bow, pretend that your hand is a monkey hanging from a branch. use the weight of the elbow to provide the power for your bow. pretty good for 4 days, I've been playing for 14 years :)
Just a few quick tips. Hold the bow more gently, and with your fingers spread out a bit more. Have your middle finger at the silver springs, and your position will be right. Keep the tip of your thumb behind the neck of the cello and only use the tips of your fingers to touch the string. Other than that, good playing and shifting :)

if you're into heavy metal and classical music, Apocalyptica is a quartet of cellists that play metallica... i think you'd like them as much as i do!

Haha xD
Well, yes, I CAN read notes even though not too well, I admit that^^
Anyways, I just wanted to try the cello and...just wanted to have fun.
If I have the money I may take some lessons 'cause learning the cello all by one's self really seems to be extremely difficult.
But thanks for your extraordinarily CONSTRUCTIVE comment xD
