I've only ever played part of VII, but this song alone is enough to make me want to play X. It's one of the most heartrendingly beautiful yet sad melodies I've ever heard.

jep true , final fantasy has one of the most amazing stories like if its a movie from a big and long book , the worlds they create in every final fantasy they make is so unique, love final fantasy when i was around 9 or even before that. Now im 20 ;p

And 13 &13-2 are on ps3. The later the games the more challenging in my oppinion. But i do enjoy 10 just cause of the story.

I don't know how I did it, but I managed to play through games like FFVII when I was a little kid (Like 6 or 7). This was one of those kind of games I sort of remember, and the more videos I watch, the more cutscenes come back to me. And even though I didn't realize it as a kid, this game is damn emotional. Hearing songs like this pull me through the story and make me feel teary-eyed and nostalgic.
@KhuldonAlsonaine I just love this song so much. It reminds me of my older sister who would call me to watch her play the game. It doesn't sound like much, but it was a pretty special time I use to share with her and we'd get all emotional together. Lol!

I'm a fan of final fantasy games for mostly one reason, stories. Stories that you just don't hear anymore, stories that have meaning to them, and its almost like this song IS the story all in one FFX was great and it was a sad ending indeed but I also enjoyed 7 and 13 just as well for their stories were great as well. I have yet to play the others but I most certainly will because nobody makes stories like the Final Fantasy series.

i started this game when i was in gr.2 with my best friend, my game disc broke and we never got another ccopy until 2 years ago, this game is part of my life, a big part, it is one thing that i will remember forever, this sounds absolutely crazy, but its more than just a game to me, we still havent beaten it yet, but i kind of dont want it to end
One day my kids will play this game and understand that life is not always how you want it to turn out. And, although it may be painful, you can always make something beautiful out of it.

When I'm like "how about VII? X?" they're like "nah not interested". Seriously they can't enjoy a good story. I accept that the battle system may piss off sometimes (for me, it's only about FFVIII's =\ ) but still...great musics, deep story and charismatic characters, that's a video game!

@lilfrog5 bullshit, this may be my favorite game of all time but type-0 and 13-2 came really damn close to topping this, they are all equally depressing though, epceically 13-2, that game was just hard to watch at times, ecpecially since the true ending is the saddest of them all where most of the cast is dead aside from about 4 characters
@thomaskapperman There's two ways to look at it, on one end you can say that that this game ended with Tidus and Yuna not being together. Or, ((Spoiler Alert)) you can think of it like this. They do end up coming together and getting to be close to each other. This time permanently. That is, if you get the good ending is FFX 2. But the point is that they ended up being together after all. And that is what I like to think about. .
Into a peaceful slumber, but yet only to see everyone you ever cared for, looking at you with a warm smile. Fading into the blackness to yet see who you are. That is Zanarkand.
@ConCept31788 Prishe's story was kinda good.And the music as well.Then Uematsu stopped working on the series and FF XII sucked really bad.And XIII as well, I guess.Like, FF games should give you the thought that the world's ending: The world in FF 12 and 13 wasn't ending, and in 12 the world just went to war.Something good in 12 was Basch's story, which was really interesting.

This game was so heartbreakingly bittersweet. Even the happy parts made me cry. Among Square's Crisis Core and Birth by Sleep, and 358/2 Days, for sure. The category "depressing but amazing."

This is coming from a man who serves in the military, been deployed numerous times, someone who's seen some s**t and has never allowed it to get to me... @69873167594 these arent movies they are ps2 video games, so u do a whole lot more of playing then watching, that are about 7to8 years old, and knowing that the best place u would have a chance of finding them is a gamestop, since they keep their games that dont get sold, and people sell their video games there, so ur best chance out of anywhere to find games that are that old is gamestop.. U know, when I talk to guys in my class who're supposed to be gamers (actually they're more CoD Uncharted and shit) they're like "final fantasy? yeah I played XIII it was awesome !"
When I'm like "how about VII? X?" they're like "nah not interested". Seriously they can't enjoy a good story. I accept that the battle system may piss off sometimes (for me, it's only about FFVIII's =\ ) but still...great musics, deep story and charismatic characters, that's a video game!

@lilfrog5 bullshit, this may be my favorite game of all time but type-0 and 13-2 came really damn close to topping this, they are all equally depressing though, epceically 13-2, that game was just hard to watch at times, ecpecially since the true ending is the saddest of them all where most of the cast is dead aside from about 4 characters

@thomaskapperman There's two ways to look at it, on one end you can say that that this game ended with Tidus and Yuna not being together. Or, ((Spoiler Alert)) you can think of it like this. They do end up coming together and getting to be close to each other. This time permanently. That is, if you get the good ending is FFX 2. But the point is that they ended up being together after all. And that is what I like to think about. .

@ConCept31788 Prishe's story was kinda good.And the music as well.Then Uematsu stopped working on the series and FF XII sucked really bad.And XIII as well, I guess.Like, FF games should give you the thought that the world's ending: The world in FF 12 and 13 wasn't ending, and in 12 the world just went to war.Something good in 12 was Basch's story, which was really interesting.

This game was so heartbreakingly bittersweet. Even the happy parts made me cry. Among Square's Crisis Core and Birth by Sleep, and 358/2 Days, for sure. The category "depressing but amazing."

This is coming from a man who serves in the military, been deployed numerous times, someone who's seen some s**t and has never allowed it to get to me... Yet somehow this song is still able to jerk me back down to earth and remind me I'm human and that there are times when i need to act as such.... This song brings back memories of my youth... Times I wouldn't mind going back to...

@69873167594 these arent movies they are ps2 video games, so u do a whole lot more of playing then watching, that are about 7to8 years old, and knowing that the best place u would have a chance of finding them is a gamestop, since they keep their games that dont get sold, and people sell their video games there, so ur best chance out of anywhere to find games that are that old is gamestop..
